stepladder sketch The foldable 'tira mi sù' stepladder for Kartell has an epoxy finished oval steel tube frame, policarbonate steps and a polyuretane handle. 

The 'floating' steps present a final step towards complete 'metaphysical' elimination of the material frame in order to achieve the impression of weightlessness. 

A modest household accessory has been thus promoted to a piece of furniture.

It was selected for the Italian Forum Design in 1992
