The Mach 1000 wrapping machine for Otem has been primarily designed for safety and easy maintenance. As it can wrap ut to 800 pieces per second some parts move actually faster than the eye can see! We have thus provided polycarbomate transparent covers for these moving parts.

As a common characteristic of production machines do have four main types of components:

  • the transporting parts or tracks that convey the 'passive' material to the working station. The transporting parts are in this case designed as horizontal modular tunnels with hinged transparent covers;
  • the active parts or 'stations' where the actual operation takes place. These are here designed as vertical blocks on the main track;
  • the automatic controlling parts where the material flow and the intervening operations are coordinated, regulated and checked. These parts are often subject to change and substitution with advancing tecnology. This part takes here the form of a separate monitor mounted on a swinging arm for easy visibility from any position of the operator;
  • the manual controlling part or dashboard which includes the emergency push button. It is mounted in an easily accessable position.
