Star Sheriff Round-Up
Saber
Rider and April travel to the planet Huma to stop the Outrider known as
Vanquo. There, Saber runs in to Fireball, racing in the Grand Prix, and
Colt, bounty hunting. The three argue over a room. Colt takes off when
the father of a girl comes looking for him. Saber and Colt decide to share.
Colt returns later and finds Vanquo and overhears a conversation, then
barges in and chases him to the hall where the other two run from the room
hearing the shooting. Colt mentions what he over heard, and all three head
to the outpost, for their own reasons. There, April 'recruits' Fireball
and Colt to help her and Saber shows up.
After
the battle, Saber and April explain to Colt and Fireball that they are
Star Sheriffs and ask the two to join them on Ramrod.
2)
Calvary Command
After
defending a cargo convoy from an Outrider attack and delivering it safetly
to Planet Yuma, the Star Sheriffs are summond to Calvary Command (Their
base of main command, located on planet Earth) the center for Star Sheriff
operations all over the universe. The leader of the Calvary Commanders
General WhiteHawk, greets them, and gives them a tour of the facility and
asks them to demonstrate various skills to the Star Sheriff Cadets. The
most promising cadet, Jessie Blue, instantly falls in love with April.
During one of the demonstrations the Star Sheriffs are called away to defend
a Calvary Ground transport that has been ambushed. Jesse Blue, defying
orders, goes after the Star Sheriffs and arrives just in time to see April
being lassoed. But, Saber Rider gets there first and helps April escape
from her wolf-faced captor, leaving jesse unhappy and extremely jelous
of Saber Rider.
3)
Jessie's Revenge
At
a celebration at Calvary Command in the Star Sheriff's honor, Jessie tries
to force a kiss from April and is humilated. He leaves and returns with
the local bandits and they steal Outrider weapons, ships and bombs. Attacked
by Saber, Jessie manages to escape and plants a bomb on Ramrod only to
see his love board it. During another battle with Saber, he manages to
tell Saber there is a bomb on Ramrod, to save April, only to see the bomb
explode. Saber rushes to rescue them and Jessie slips away to become a
wanted man.

Iguana Get to Know You
Colt
catches a local lizard for a pet while they are investigating Outriders
around New Dallas. Colt voluntiers for a spy mission and gets trapped by
the Outriders. The lizard leads him down a path in the mountains and is
saved. The Star Sherrifs attack and Colt frees the little guy.
5)
Little Hombre
Fireball
befriends a little boy on the Plains of Night on the Planet Pecos. The
father was a bounty hunter that got mixed up with the Robot Wranglers and
does not get along with the local people very well. He teams up with Fireball
when the Outriders take his son.
6)
Greatest Show on the New Frontier
While
touring a new military outpost on Planet Yuma, the Star Sheriffs encounter
an intergalactic traveling circus. The ringmaster, Mr. Big Top, who is
actually an Outrider in disguise, convinces the out post colonel to allow
the circus to perform. Saber Rider saves the trapeze artist, Lila, from
an evil scorpian and becomes enamored by her. (Okay, so he likes her) After
speaking to her about hte circus, Saber Rider becomes suspicious. Meanwhile,
Lila's partner, Damon, accidently discovers Big Top's plan ti destroy the
military outpost and is captured by him. After helping Lila complete her
trapeze performance (I didn't know the bagpiper was a trapeze artist either,
but then again, our mysterious hero has many hidden talents as we discover
through the series) by substituting for a missing Damon, Saber Rider, along
with the Star Sherffs, find Damon, battle the Outriders and save the outpost.
But despite his victory, Saber Rider goes away sad. Saber realizes that
Lila truely cares for Damon and he is left with a tinge of heart break.
His fellow Star Sheriffs, however, help brighten his spirits.
7)
Little Pardner
The
Star Sheriffs are attacked by an unseen enemy who turns out to be a little
cowboy living alone in the hills. He leads the Star Sheriffs to a secret
Outrider installation. The Outriders have made slaves out of the local
people, forcing them to work in the mines. The Star Sheriffs manage to
raid the mines, carrying out a daring operation, freeing the townspeople
and defeating the Outriders and their Renegade Unit.
8)
Brawlin' Is My Callin'
Convoys
are being attacked. Maddox, a business man is believed to be involved with
the Outriders. Saber, Colt, and Fireball pose as drifters and are hired
by Maddox. Maddox captures April and Ramrod and the Star Sheriffs must
fight thier way out of a trap.
9)
Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away
Wild
cybernetic mustangs are stampeding outposts. A western shaman can tame
them with his music, but the Outriders are controlling them to destroy
and they form to join a giant Renegade unit.
10)
The Castle of the Mountain Haze
Outriders
convince a baron that the Star Sheriffs are out to destroy him and Saber
must fight him a duel for thier honor. Meanwhile, the Outriders are causing
the volcanoes to blow.
14)
What Did You Do on Your Summer Vacation
The
Star Sheriffs all called in from a well earned vaction. They are informed
that Commander Eagle was going to meet an Outridder Leader to discuss a
peace treaty, but he is missing. Ramrod has been refitted for longer distance
travel and the four are sent to find out what has happened.

Famous Last Words
The
Star Sheriffs journey to the Legendary Kingdom of Jarr, where they are
recieved with disdain. Years before, the Kingdom of Jarr was attacked by
the Outriders and Calvarly Command did not arrive in time to help out.
This time, Ramrod arrives in time to help the prince and his troop.

Sharpshooter
Still
on the Kingdom of Jarr, the King shows them their secret weapon... the
Monarch Supreme. The Star Sherrifs leave to battle the Outriders elsewhere
and April, alone in Ramrod, has the chance to attack Gattler and his destroyers.
Her own attack reflected on her, Ramrod crashes on the planet, Saber, Fireball
and Colt too far away, the only hope is the Monarch Supreme.
26)
Dooley
Colt
runs across the one person he truely repsects, the man who trained him.
Once a member of Calvary Command, he was believed to be a spy and left
to become a bounty hunter. Dooley and Colt end up in duel and Dooley beats
Colt, then shoots the Outrider watching them. The Outriders attack and
Colt is forced to let Dooley escape.
30)
Tranquility
Sent
to get supplies, Colt runs in to a local school marm from the outpost of
Tranquility. Robin believes they are peaceful and even the Outriders respect
that and leave them alone. Colt goes with her only to get caught up later
in defending the outpost from Outriders. The rest of the Star Sheriffs
arrive and help out. Colt leaves, but not before kissing Robin.
31)
Bad Day at Dry Gulch
Unmanded
space convoys carring a cargo of the mineral Anthromite are being attacked.
Anthromite helps bring life to planets where life would have otherwise
been impossible. Saber falls for a woman who claims to be mineralogist
and later realizes she is an Outrider spying on Cavalry Command to see
which convys are protected and which are not.
43)
Lend Me Your Ears
Traveling
to the Rainbow Planet, they see nothing wrong nor any sign of Outrider
presence. Until they notice an ear implant in everyones ear. Todd, a young
boy is caught sneaking on Ramrod and questioned. He reveals nothing until
Steed is sent to draw him and his sister, Tina, out. Todd tells Fireball
about the Outridders and the ear implants that makes everyone lie. Todd
is later caught and told to lead the Star Sheriffs in to a trap. Fireball
goes, and is attacked. Todd tells him he hated to lie and tells him where
the real base is.
44)
Born to Run
Calvary
Command is informed that the Outridder Planet has entered this dimension.
Calvary Command is agreed to be moved to planet Alamo, which is already
a military outpost. Captain Mandarin contacts the Star Sheriffs to tell
them she has found the Outridder Planet.
Eagle
is brought before Nemesis where he learns that the Outridders are running
out of energy. All an elaborate plan by Nemesis and Jesse, he watches at
the use stun rays against the attack from Ramrod and a cavalary fleet.
Fireball dances around the force field and Jesse contacts them, and even
allows them to speak with Eagle. They leave to review the information they
have gathered and Eagle manages to escape in to the planet. There, Eagle
is aided by a kind old man and looks out to see the same statue heads that
are the Heads of Moy on Planet Huma.
45)
The Legend of the Lost World
Saber,
Colt and Fireball break in to an installation and are outnumbered. They
flee back to Ramrod only to find April captured. They fail and the Test
is considered over. They are told by King Jaret and a new Commander that
their odds of being sent on the mission to save Eagle is slim. There is
another group that has perfomed better than them.
Colt
picks up a pretty girl who leads him in to an Outridder Attack. The Star
Sheriffs realize that they are trying to be kept from going on the misson
and the next target will be the King. The battle the Outridders and the
new Comannder turns out to be an outridder. They rescue the Kingm, who
watches them and decides to send them on the mission.
On
the Outridder planet, Eagle talks with the Vapor Beings there and learns
of how the want of power created the wars, and destroyed their planet.
They set out to space where a space storm struck and several ships were
lost. The Heads of Moy were re-created on the new planet they found that
in hopes that one day when their lost people were looking, they would see
the Heads and know they found their family. Eagle comes to the conclusion
that they were on the lost ships. Eagle flees when the Outridders show
up looking for him at the house.
46)
The Rescue
The
Star Sheriffs look for Eagle and find the Outridder Base. Hit hard, they
crash in to the base and fight their way in to the base. Pinned down in
District 12, with Jesse trying to connect them to Eagle while an angered
de-moted Commander tries to destroy them. Jesse makes an annoucement that
the Star Sherriffs are in District 12 and Eagle makes his way to them.
On his way, he passes the Vapor Tower and the main frame computer.
A
shoot out in railway cars and the Star Sherifs are on the way to meet with
Eagle, right where Jesse wants them. April is hurt, and surronded. Eagle
sees them and releases the vapor locks, opening that part of the base to
space. Saber and Colt rescue Eagle and FireBall takes April to Ramrod.
48)
Cease Fire!
Peace
has come at last. Ramrod is dismantled and the turbos destroyed by Jesse
Blue. Nemesis arrives at planet Huma as part of the Treaty. Colt follows
Jesses back to the Outridder Planet and is led to a chamber full of Vapor
Beings held in stasis. Jesse tells him there is not enough energy to sustain
their lives much longer, and Colt leaves. Jesse then starts the reactivation
to release the fighters from stasis.
Colt
returns to Robin and the two go to a fair where Colt takes on a shooting
competition. Robin grows angry and walks away, for all he can do is fight.
She is told by a watcher that a man who has done a lot of fighting needs
time to return to peace. She appoliogizes, as does he.
Saber
returns to his family in the highlands. He is happy to be home, but can
not stop thinking of memories and wondering what is in store for his future.
Fireball
returns to racing, cheered on by April. Recalling memories of their fights,
Fireball and the Red Fury Racer smash in to the wall. April worries for
him only to turn and find that he stands behind, having bailed out before
the crash. They spend an afternoon at the beach.
Meanwhile...
Jesse Blue contacts Nemesis and tells him Phase II is ready.
49)
Alamo Moon
The
Peace is over, the Outriders attack and the Star Sheriffs are called back
to Calvary Command. Eagle tells them that while Ramrod may
have
been destroyed, Ramrod II was not. It was a top secret prototype.
The Star Sheriffs fly off in search of the ever moving Outrider Planet,
and Saber
picks
up a strange engery source from behind an asteroid. The Outriders
had been hording the energy and were using it now on the attack.
Ramrod
flies to battle as Jessie prepares the Cobalt Blue Blaster. One blast
and the Alamo Moon is destroyed.
51)
Who is Nemesis?
Nemisis
is trapped on Planet Huma and Jessie declares a mutiny and leads the Outriders
on his own. As he does, the Nth Degree starts
taking
over the Planet. Jessie tries to stop it but realizes too late that
it is the mind of Nemesis, his body destroyed in a battle with FireBall's
father, his mind
was
transfered in to a computer. Colt finds Jessie and the two fight.
The Nth Degree battles Colt and Jessie takes off, only to have Colt follow
him and the fight continue.
Nemesis,
defeated, emerges from the building and reveals that the body he was using
was only a cyborg. The body crumbles in the fire and explosions.
The
Bombs placed by the Star Sheriffs explode and Fireball manages to find
Colt, as Jessie takes off in his Badlander, but not before badly wounding
Colt. Fireball carries Colt back to Ramrod and they return to Planet
Huma for medical aide.
52)
Happy Trails
Colt
lays wounded in a hospital bed, the Outrider Planet is heading on a collision
course with the planet, the 7th Calvary has launched, and Saber, April
and Fireball have no choice but to join the battle with the Monarch Supreme.
On
the Outrider Planet, the Nth Degree has taken complete control. The only
thing remaining is the Cobalt Blue Blaster, and Jessie orders it aimed
at the Huma. At the same time, the Star Sheriffs realize that they must
get in to stop the Nth Degree, and the fastest way is down the barrel of
the Cobalt Blue Blaster. As the Blaster fires, Ramrod is in the barrel
and fires back down. The blasts cancel out and Ramrod is pushed back out
of the barrel in to space.
Robin
returns to the hospital room with lunch for Colt and finds him gone.
Jessie,
outraged, takes to his Renegade and battles hand to hand with Ramrod. As
he is about to win, a blast stuns him and Ramrod is freed. Colt has joined
the fight, painfully, but he is not about to be left behind for the final
battle. Ramrod flies for the barrel of the blaster and in, followed close
by Jessie. Inside, Ramrod must fight both Jessie and the Nth Degree. Jessie
is beaten, losing control over his sword. Ramrod throws the sword in to
the Nth Degree and blows it up.
The
Outrider planet, powerless and defeated, continues to drift closer to collision,
until it suddenly teleports back to the other dimension. On board Ramrod,
Colt has passed out and April fears for him, only to be told by Colt that
she worries too much.
Commander
Eagle states that it is over, and they are safe. But Jessie and Nemesis
must have found a way back to the other dimension and one day, they may
return. But it will find the Star Sheriffs and Calvary Command waiting.
