Mattaeo "Taeo" Hihane .... Twilight New 2.22.02! Mattaeo 1 : The first ever done of Mattaeo. I got his hair wrong-- it's mostly orange with blue instead of the other way around. But still looks nice. Happy and fluffy and Taeo-like. Done with pencil crayons. ^ Mattaeo 2 : The second Mattaeo, with the right hair. But he looks... evil or something. Not fluffy at all. He looks like he's plotting something. Done with Aquarells and washed. ^ Mattaeo 3 : Wai! I was drawing profile pics again. I think this is the closest to his actual hair, and I like him dressed this way. He looks calm again, not plotting. I gave him a silver spiral pendant-- Nat is supposed to have a golden pentagram one. Done with Aquarells but not washed. ^ Mattaeo 4: Yet another Mattaeo because he's fluffy and wonderful. ^_^ This one was drawn in my FINA 213 (Drawing 3) sketchbook one afternoon. I was tired of drawing the things the teacher wanted us to draw. I even took the time to do some tonal shading on this pencil drawing. ^ Diana 1: Diana was the Twilight before Mattaeo. This isn't how she would have been dressed... *shrug*. Done with Aquarells. Nathanael "Tazo" Hihane Tazo: The first keeper pic drawn of Nathanael, this is him in the 'Nemesis' form with blue and green hair. I liked his expression and cool mirror staff. The pose is rather static tho-- and if you've got good eyes, he has Fortune's marking. Oops. ^_^;;. Done with pencil crayons. ^ Ta Plushie: The Ta Plushie likes shiny sharp things. This likkle guy scares my friends for some reason. Could it be because he keeps breaking them? The hirgana on his shirt is the 'ta' character. The original drawing is up on my fridge... ^_^ Done with pencil crayons. ^ Card Captor Tazo: This was for Katy. It came about from a conversation in email. Basically it was killing two birds with one stone, she wanted a kitty Ta and to see a girl Tazo. Tazo cosplays as CCSakura in her Black Kitty Costume. The pose is taken from a pic of Sakura in said costume I found in my CCS art book (Cheerio!). ^_^;;; Done with pencil crayons. ^ Nathanael 1 : A recent Nathanael, with his Judgement colored hair but short. The yellow belt-y things were supposed to be his holsters for the pentablades. ^_^;; The tones are a bit off on his coat. Done with Aquarells, not washed. ^ Nathanael 2: This one has a different look to it. No black outline! ^_^ The coat was 'shaded' by gestural markings instead of tonal sections. I think the energy in it conveys a sort of wind-swept feel. It's contrasted by Nat's rather calm expression/lack there of. Also, I really like how his hair turned out. It was done with Aquarells and not washed. Evarrin Hihane ... Judgement Sleeping Judgement: I love this picture. I worked very hard on it. The pose is taken from an upside down image in vol. 5 of D.N.Angel. It's the page in stage 2 vol. 5 where Towa-chan is talking about the world being a world of Dark's dreams. Anyway, it was the first time I worked out the diferent hair coloring for "Judgement". Done with Aquarells and washed. ^ Rianna : Rianna was the Judgement before Evarrin. D.N.Angel vol.3's Atogaki (which is a very good model for a pose, btw) may have been part of the inspiration for this, or maybe it was Katy asking what Nathanael would look like as a girl (the reasons why such a topic came up are a long story). Anyway, it actually has a purpose for being here now.. Scary because I usually can't draw female worth spit. Done with Aquarells but I was afraid to wash it. Prometheus Avalon New 2.22.02! Demonix : Probably the first pic I ever drew of Prometheus. I don't really like it much anymore but his expression is kinda neat. Okay, and although it's wrong, the hair is also neat. A demonix is of course a half-demon/half-phoenix. Done with markers ^ Likkle Demo : Another older Prometheus picture-- a likkle one. He looks very gleeful, doesn't he? Yes, that's a burning sheep on his shirt. It's an inside joke. Disturbingly kawaii in a Prometheus sort of way. Done with markers, pencil crayon on the hair. ^ Prometheus 1: I worked so hard on this pic too! I was really proud of it-- but the original has disappeared along with my art portfolio! T_T I was overjoyed to find this scan. Probably the first really nice piece of Tazo artwork I'd done. Done with pencil crayons. ^ Prometheus 2 : This is a more recent Prometheus. He's more polished looking in this pic, I picture this as being how he appeared to Tenkou & Yamato in Darkness: Songs 5. His expression is a little sad, maybe wistful. I like it. ^_^ Done with Pencil crayons. ^ Prometheus 3 : This is... 'Goth Prommie''. I also wanted to draw a pic where he had light purply eyes like his Daddy. Again, I think he looks sad. Katy says he looks like his Daddy, so I guess I accomplished my objective. Done with pencil crayons. ^ Lady Avalon : This also came about from the same conversation that would lead to Nat-chan. Instead of just being something fun, Lady Avalon actually serves a plot purpose. This ought to be with the Darkness Pics, since she appears in Darkness: Songs 6, but I didn't want to break up the set. Again-- a female pic that I'm actually pleased with. Strange that it's only when the character isn't actually female. Done with pencil crayons. ^ Prometheus Poster: A variation on the Prometheus 2 picture, this is a larger drawing I did for my mother. It was done with water colour pencil crayons. I'm very happy with his hair and wings, but the shading on the vest could be better. Other Characters Cadmiel : Kitty Cadmiel! Okay, so he's a dragon but he looks like a kitty. And that's a flower he's got in :his hand, not part of his face. I just suck at drawing depth. Done with markers. ^ Cadmiel 2 : Cadmiel in Human form. It was actually drawn before the kitty one. I like his cross marking in this one. This was done with Aquarells and washed. ^ |
| Drawings with More than One Character
Mattaeo & Nathanael: I think I was looking at too many of Sakura's lovely D.N.Angel's drawings on OFFRamp when I drew this. The filter I used made it really faint, but it's a line art pencil drawing of Mattaeo comforting Nathanael. I suppose it could have faintly Shonen Ai themes to it. I ought to color this and rescan it. ^ |
