Compared with Britney two other hits, Baby One More Time and (You Drive Me) Crazy which are more on obsession, this one is more on serious love. In this song, it tells about the feelings of a girl about his boyfriend; sometimes she's scared and shy, and sometimes she hides and runs. To be loved truly, the girl and the boy must trust each other.
Same thing with Bunny and Mamuro (Usagi and Mamoru), starting at almost the end of the first Sailormoon series. She is scared of him because of her situation then, that led her to her shyness. This continued in the first part of Sailormoon R, when his memory about what happened to him in the past was wiped out, she tried to relive those memories. But it is in the middle of the series that their love for each other was finally sealed.
