Fifteen years have passed since the First Robotech War.The people of Earth have rebuilt their planet after being nearly exterminated by the Zentraedi. From the ashes rises a new order formed by the heros of the first Robotech War of force THE ARMIES OF THE SOUTHERN CROSS. Knowing the Masters will arrive soon Rick Hunter(WHO DOESN'T DESERVE TO FLY THE SKULL 1. MY OPINION WAS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RETIRED AFTER ROY DIED TO HONOR HIM) the hero of the first Robotech war gathers a group of people(Lisa Hayes, Max Sterling, Lynn Minmei(Loser),Miryia Sterling , and Dr. Emil Lang(The German guy who found a way to do the modular transformation for the SDF-1 and the barrier system for SDF-1) to travel to Tirol and make peace with Masters(THEY DO NOT KNOW THE MASTERS HAVE ALREADY LEFT FOR EARTH) and orders the Building of the SDF-3 and the ships for the REF fleet(Robotech Expeditionary Force). Monument City, Canada is declared the unofficial capitsl of Earth. Production of New weoponry like the Ajacs,Atacs and new battle cruisers are made at Space Station Liberty(Zentraedi Satellite Factory). First students graduate from United Earth Government Military Academy. Despite the Southern Cross' superior numbers in most of the battles with the Masters, the Masters' ships were just much more larger, had harder armor, possesed better firepower,and better mobility than the Southern Cross ships. Occasionally the Southern Cross battle Cruisers were able to punch holes in the ships then insert squadrons through the holes, but those tactics weren't very effective. ALso the Bioriods and Bioriod Carriers had much more faster reflexes than most Southern Cross aircrafts. Still the Southern Cross fought valiantly and many brave men and women died just because one stubborned man(Leonard) refused to make peace. After the War the Southern Cross is in tatters and can barely fight another war and with the Invid flower life spreading gauranteeing the arrival of the Invid proved to be another Threat. To anwser this Threat Dana Sterling and other survivors of the war like Marie and Bowie go out in space to find Adimiral Rick Hunter and get the REF fleet to help the once strong Southern Cross to fight off the upcoming Invid Invasion.
