Hello all its me again. I have gotten some postive feedback from
the first chapter of my story Raye's Story. As a result I decided that I
should probably finish it. I started to write it last year and I write
everything long hand so that I can do it during school or late at night
instead of just when I am on the computer. How the story got started was
that I had this brilliant idea for a story so I decided to write it as I
was writing I kept getting more and more ideas to put in and after I had
filled up my second tablet I realised what I was doing and I threw the
story away. Well I stopped writing it anyways. I had just kept getting
ideas and I wanted to write them but I was trying to put them into the
story and the original idea was buried beneath thousands of others. One
of the ideas was the life of the senshi before Sailormoon. I first started
with Setsuna. It all happened because of a fanfic that I had read where
Sailor Pluto and Endymion got together. Good writing, horrid story! I
decided to change that and how was I going to do it? Well you will have
to read the story to find out. My next idea was Raye. One of the most
misunderstood characters in the whole story. I love writing about them.
I don't have a favorite character but when I write I do. I tend to favor
Raye and Serena. I don't know why. I am also going to write some stories
about Lita Amy Mina Serena and Darien. Also I want to do some on the cats
Two of the most forgotten characters in the story. However I digress.
Thanks to Puddlenut and SuGaRpOp07 for sending me comments. I'm
sorry that I didn't write you back but my IP doesn't allow me to send
mail to AOL users. I can receive it I just can't send it. You can read

Raye's Story part 2
by Mara tmj17@geocities.com
***************************************************************************
Raye walked quietly down the street, head hanging down. Dark
brown hair flew into her face. The warm summer breeze didn't penetrate
through the dark mood surrounding her. Why did class have to take so long?
It had seemed as if she had been in there for years until they finally got
dismissed. Carelessly she brushed the hair out of her face. The high sound
of laughter made her glance up. Across the street was a whole group of kids.
From the uniforms they all went to Juuban Junior High. Ahead of the group
walking backwards was a young blonde girl. Although Raye couldn't hear the
words that the girl was saying she could almost tell what it was they were
discussing. The girl was swinging her arms wildly around trying to show
what she was talking about, when suddenly she fell backwards onto
the ground. A loud wail came from out of her. Raye covered her mouth to stop
from laughing. This girl was like a small child crying even when it didn't
hurt just because it was supposed too. As she watched the others helped her
up and laughing together they all left.
Raye looked after them for a minute before continueing down the
street. She must be a good friend. I bet she is really nice too. Get real
Raye. If she didn't run away in fear she would probably start laughing at
you for being so pathetic. She scolded herself silently.
She walked quietly and slowly up the steps of the shrine and into
her room. Changing out of her school clothes she quickly put on a robe.
Smoothing out the fabric, Raye reveled in the feel of the material.
When she was here in these robes then at least people respected her. She
was a preistess of the Shinto shrine. Almost everyone came here for good
luck charms, prayers, or just for the solitude and comfort this place seemed
to carry. Checking one last time in the mirror to make sure her robes were
straight, she went outside and started sweeping the steps. She closed her
eyes and listened to the sounds of nature. When her father had left it was
here that she had found the peace within herself to continue on and put it
all behind her. It was also when the crows had come, their need for care
far outwaying the depression she was in. When they had come in the winter
thin, starving and unable to fly, she had made room for them and cared for
them until they were able to leave. In the end, they had stayed maybe they
also found peace at the temple.
Their agitated cawing alerted her to the presence of another.
Coming out of her revelry she opened her eyes to stare
at the blonde man coming towards her. When her Grandfather had become too
old to take care of the shrine alone, Jed had come to work here. Raye felt
a shiver go down her spine. No one seemed more scarier then he did.
Sometimes it seemed as if he was this very nice and polite young man and at
others he just felt evil. Clutching her broom tighter she carefully watched
his aproach.
"Miss Raye? Would you like me to sweep the steps?" The politeness in
his voice would never fool her, it was his eyes that were the worst. They
would stare at her like she was an animal that he was going to slaughter and
eat. She pulled her broom away and forced herself to answer politely.
"No thank you."
From out of the shrine door came her grandfather. He walked over to
them. "Good you two are here. We need some money for the shrine I was
thinking maybe self defense classes." he laughed then whispered almost to
himself. "All those pretty girls will come for self defense."
Raye's eyes flashed. "Grandpa! You will not be having ANY self
defense classes here so don't even think about it!" Her voice was loud
when she finished, and she had to take a deep breath to calm herself.
Jed spoke quietly. "How about selling good luck charms? People are
very superstious and you can make a lot of money off of them. I would be
willing to do it so that we have money here." Her grandfather agreed to that
before Raye could even open her mouth. She stood silently while her grandpa
and Jed discussed their plans for the charms. When they were through she
watched Jed's eyes gleam and another chill ran up her spine. Your up to
something Jed, something that you want with those good luck charms. Just
wait I'll figure out what it is and put an end to it because whatever you
are doing it is evil. She looked away careful not to let him see her for
fear that he may find out that she knew. For a second she saw again the
blonde girl on the ground crying but she quickly pushed the memory from her
mind. It wouldn't do to think about it when she had more important things on
her mind. Like finding out just who Jed was and putting an end to his evil.

That's it for chapter two. Is it very confusing? I was trying to show how
she reacts in different elements. Her confidence grows when she is at home.
Yup this one has the infamous Jed. You can see where the time frame is right?
