Okay now imagine someone who has absolutely NO idea about Wedding Peach....
and sees something that says Wedding Peach (since everyone calls it that for
short) they wouldn't know the whole title was Ai Tenshi Densetsu Wedding
Peach so here is a story on what they thought it might be about...of course
I'll use the characters. but I'm afraid I'm not going to use the familiar
and formal suffixes since I'm not 'that' familiar with the show.
"Momoko! Wait up!" Turning her head Momoko brushed aside her long pink
hair, waving at her friends, Yuri and Hinagiku. She stopped walking,
and stood on the walk, waiting for them to catch up.
Hinagiku through her arm over Momoko's shoulder, smiling at her friend.
"I thought you'd be walking with Yousuke!"
Momoko's head dropped down, her feet dragging. "Yeah well, he was
busy...." Her voice faded off. Leaving Yuri and Hinagiku to stare at
her worried.
"Well," Yuri stated, "It is soccer season and being the back-up goaly
he does have to practice." She pulled out a notepad, "Ever since the
start of the season the team captain has been making the team practice
an extra hour every day, so that they can be ready to win."
"We're sure to win this year." Hinagiku joined in excitedly.
"Yes, especially since Yanagiba Kazuya is on the team. He's the star
player!" Yuri's usually calm voice was raised in excitement. Momoko
watched her friends silently, trying not to let her unhappiness effect
them.
They noticed anyways. Smiling a little Hinagiku slapped Momoko playfully
on the back. "Well, you can't really blame us, after all you're betrothed
to Yousuke, and here we are poor single girls."
"That's right, and you two are lucky since you love each other so much.
You should be happy!" Yuri continued.
Momoko dropped her head back down. "I thought he loved me, but he never
spends time with me any more. I don't think he loves me!"
Hinagiku glanced at Yuri worried. "Well Momoko, you still love him right?"
She nodded. "And you want to be married and live happily ever after right?"
She nodded again. "Well, we weren't going to tell you but...." Her voice
trailed off. Shiny blue eyes stared at her through tears. "But what?"
"Well," She continued. "We were going to use it ourselves but you're our
friend and you need it more. There is something that can help you but it
will be hard. Are you sure you want to try?"
Momoko nodded emphatically. "What is it? I'll do anything!"
"There's a special fruit. You have to find just the right one, perfect.
And give it to the one you love. And when he eats it, it will ensure you
both a happy and successful life. It's called a Wedding Peach."
"Wedding Peach?" the pink haired girl stared at Yuri in doubt. Yuri nodded
her head. "I'll do it! I'll find the Wedding Peach and then Yousuke and
I will be happy together!" She raced off ahead of them. Yuri stared at
the retreating form. "It's not lady like to lie."
"But it's for Momoko."
"True. My friends should not be unhappy if I can help it! But that
was a strange story. Where did you think of it?"
Hinagiku shrugged. "Something my mom told me a long time ago."
Momoko turned the peach over in her hand, carefully setting it aside.
"That's not the one." Hinagiku's head dropped. "We've created a monster."
she whispered. Yuri nodded a bit. "Why did you tell her perfect? Then
we would be done already, rather then on the fourth store looking for
the perfect one."
She laughed a bit. "Well, I didn't think she would be so picky!"
"I found it!" Momoko shouted out the words, holding a peach above her
head. Carefully she hugged it to her. "Let's go! I've got to give this
to Yousuke right away!"
After buying it they raced towards the soccer field, ignoring Yuri's
protest that it wasn't lady-like to run. Momoko ran ahead of them, seeing
Yousuke in the distance. She grabbed his sleeve before he could walk out
on the field.
"Momo-pii, you came to see me practice?" Momoko nodded at him, handing him
the paper bag containing the peach. "Here, eat this all up!" He opened the
sack. "A peach? I need lots of energy to practise, you know." She pushed
him onto the field. "Just eat it!"
He waved back at her, before turning to run onto the field.
Momoko moved to the stands watching the players kick the ball. "So did
you give it to him?"
"Yes." Yuri and Hinagiku sat down beside her. "So you're worries are over.
"He hasn't eaten it yet." She nodded towards the brown bag sitting on
the bench, her eyes turning towards the goal where he stood.
"Well don't worry, he will." Yuri's eyes widened suddenly. "Oh my! Who
is that." She nodded towards a boy who had sat down next to the bag.
Momoko watched in horror as he opened it up and took out the peach. "What
does he think he's doing? He can't eat that!" HEY!" She shouted at him,
but he didn't move. "He can't hear!" She turned toward Yuri and Hinagiku
in horror. "I have to stop him before he eats it!" not saying anything
else she rushed off the stand and down to the field. Her eyes took a
moment to adjust from the darkness under the stage to the bright light,
but when she did she fell down in shock. Her eyes watered at the sight
of the strange boy and the completely eaten peach. "No!"
Hinagiku and Yuri walked up behind her, Hinagiku taking the lead and
smacking the boy. "What do you think you're doing eating someone else's
food?" He backed away in fear dropping the peach pit. Yuri wrapped her
arms around Momoko, holding out a tissue. Momoko wiped at her tears and
blew her nose. "He...He ate it! My life is ruined!" she sobbed out.
Yousuke grabbed a towel and wandered towards his lunch. He was slightly
surprised to see Yuri and Hinagiku standing around one of the players but
shrugged it off. He headed in their direction, hoping Momoko would be with
them. Ever since soccer had started he hadn't been able to spend that much
time with her, and he was looking forward to seeing her.
