It proceeded exactly like the first volume of Slayers, except the term "Orihalcon Statue" had been replaced with "Old laundry".

So, Lina and Zelgadis were in a battle. After a heated swordfight, Zel kicked Lina in the stomach, sending her reeling. Cooly walking to her, he said, "If you would have just handed over your old laundry I wouldn't have had to do that." Lina still refused, so she was captured.

At Zel's castle, she was still being pestered about her old laundry. Yet Lina still refused to tell. Zelgadis finally guessed that she had given it to Gourry, so sent his henchmen off to fetch that old laundry. Lina fell asleep while tied up.
