He flew Escaflowne down to the water. Both of the Dilandaus sank with their guymelefs and were trapped underwater. Van swam down after them in Escaflowne and found a Dilandau. He ripped the hatch off the guymelef, pulled Dilandau out, and swam to the surface. He had made it just barely in time to save that Dilandau, but the other was a lost cause (how sad).
After Dilandau woke up, he was unusually happy that Van saved him, so decided that Van should be his new master. He kept asking Van for orders, but Van just told him to stop being annoying. Therefore, Van decided to take Dilandau to Allen, since it just seemed logical (even though in my dream, I had been under the impression that Allen and Dilandau didn't come from the same show).
Meanwhile, Folken and the other Dragonslayers found the other Dilandau, and were very sad.
When everyone got to Allen's house, they decided to throw a party. Dilandau was upstairs, asleep, and Allen was wondering how he'd react to him. I said (?? when did I get here?), "I think Dilandau will come running downstairs, bother Allen, then steal his car."
Sure enough, down the stairs came Dilandau a-bounding. He ran in circles around Allen, giggling. Allen realized that my prophecy was coming true (I must've been Hitomi), so turned Dilandau into an action figure before he could steal his car. But, little did he know, Van had already stolen it and was cruising around town.
Now everyone was wondering what to do with the Dilandau action figure. Allen examined it and was appalled to find that it did not have matching shoes. The only matching shoes they could find to give it were a pair of plastic action figure dictionaries. Thus, Dilandau started a new style, and everyone wore dictionaries on their feet.
And in case you're wondering, it was the original Dilandau, not the clone, that Van saved.
