However, the fusion with the acorn had an unexpected side-effect. Legato stood up, his face becoming a yellow-brown color, and he started growing a snout and fangs. In a short time, he had transformed into a demon man-squirrel thingy! Oh, the horror!
Somehow, Milly and Orphen heard about this, and decided that Legato-squirrel needed to be stopped before he caused a lot of damage. In a rather unintelligent move, Orphen summoned Bloody August to deal with him. However, Bloody August didn't feel like fighting a squirrel monster, so just wandered off.
Suddenly, I ran in and suggested looking at my artbook, since it had the plot of the whole series drawn out in it, and would most likely tell us how to resolve this. Alas, I got too caught up looking at the character sketches for Bloody August and the odd products in the merchandise section to be of much help. But the Vash frying pan was kinda cool, which had a little Vash figure clutching the handle. Then there was the Trigun telephone, which looked like a normal green telephone, except you could take the buttons off of it. After that, I wandered off and decided to go to the cafeteria to get some food, since I wasn't needed. Unfortunately, since I was still in first-person at this point, the scene followed me eating rather than Milly and Orphen's battle against Legato, so I'm not really sure what happened during this time
In the end, though, things seemed to turn out all right. Milly somehow got some sense back into Legato, and he transformed back into himself. He decided that Milly was really cool at that point, and wanted to join her, annoying Orphen to no end. Um, and they all lived happily ever after?
