Darra Village(#146RL)
The northern town is a central meeting place for farmers, mercenaries, and
merchants alike. Its simplistic in lay out: a town square, leading leading to
various shops and inns.
Only one road leads out of the town, trailing southward.

Celes
A female in the white ancient battle armor stands before you. Regal and grace
follows her every motion, from her steel gray-aquamarine eyes to the fair nose
lines and her tightly pursed mouth which pours out the steady voice that
commands obedience within. Honey blond hair flows well below her shoulder
armor. She wears a silver barrette for protection and to keep her long locks
away from her eyes.
Long white cape drapes across her back, and she wears a green tunic underneath
the leather and steel body armor. Her thin arms are uncovered and the skin
appears to shimmer close to the magical substance. Ornate white armor bears the
marking of eagle in flight in silver. Upon her waist she has a longsword in a
white sheath, apparently she has no trouble carrying or wielding. One glance at
the fluid speed she moves with her weapon tells almost everything about her.
She is truely a gifted fighter.
Yet there is something about her that seperates her from rest of the military
type. Perhaps the color of her eyes that reflects sorrow when the shadow falls
across her face.
Carrying:
>"Messenger?" the angel intones curiously, then laughs and shakes her head,
extending her hand to Celes. "I'm just a visitor, lady knight." She winks.
>Lina scratches her head O.O .oO( Wonder if this has anything to do with the
prophecy that guy was supposed to tell me about O.o;;;)
>Cloud wanders in from outside of town... slowing his walk to a stop as he turns
to look at the crowd.
>Celes ahs, and smiles quietly, "That is good...just a visit? Welcome thn.."

The woman standing before you radiates an almost palpable aura of holy
power. She is a radiant figure, majestic but of reasonably average stature. Her
skin is a dark tan, her eyes a wide sparkling violet, full of mischief. A
small, dark inverted triangle mark can be seen on her forehead as well. Her
smile is thin and luscious, her curvature excellent and robust, her body in
perfect shape. She carries ehrself with a mature, sensual confidence.
Her ensemble is rather revealing, but by most standards looks as if she
were born to wear it. A loose bodice of stark white silk and lace is entwined
about her torso, tied off at the waist, where the ribbon ends float gently in
the breeze. Extending from roughly her chest to mid-thigh, her well-toned body
is sheathed in a tight black dress which hugs and accentuates her curvature
quite nicely. Her arms are adorned with bracelets, her ears with small hoops.
Around her neck a small array of gemstone pendants hang as well, and her feet
are sandaled.
This woman exudes an aura of power. She looks quite a bit like the temple
representations of the goddess Urd...

>Celes dusts her knee, and mutters something that last time she saw an angel
type she was dying.
>World of Elegance smiles in a friendly manner at Celes. "That's pleasant of you
to say," she says with a grin, before turning to look at where X and Lina are
standing, cat-like eyes focusing slightly.
>X sweatdrops and coughs, he raises his hand and twitles his fingers in a wave,
"Hello."
>Lina erks slightly and grins with a sweatdrop forming! ^_^;; " WELL! This is
where I take my leave! Eheheh Gotta lotta catelogueing to do and all.. YUP!

>Lina scoot scoot scoots then pretty much bolts into her shop! ^^;;
>Lina_Inverse has left.
>Cloud continues walking... albeit slower than before... taking a position
leaning against a tree. "..."
>Celes blinks at Lina's actions.
>World of Elegance blinks, glancing after Lina. "That was weird, even for her
kind," she says flatly, before shrugging and giving X a smile and a wink.
"Hello!"
>X looks after Lina and smiles at Elegance, "I had better ask her about that job
now. If you don't mind, ma'dam." he bows slightly
>World of Elegance nods and smiles benevolently. "Sure."
>X raises his gaze to look at Elegance, "I shall return after I have a breif
talk." he smiles, "Thank you." and walks toward the Magic Shoppe
>X has left.

Cale
Soft flowing blue hair attracts your attention as you turn to see a young male
looking around the age of seventeen. His hair flows down behind him reaching
down to nearly his mid-back. He smiles kindly at you and his left eye shows a
deep kindness, his other eye being hidden by a small clump of blue hair that
hangs over the right half his face, covering it. He wears a entirely black
cloak that wraps completly around his body and hangs a bit loosely, there is
also a hood upon the cloak but it is often kept hidden behind his hair. Behind
him on his back is a sheath with a sword in it, it stretches down to about five
and a half feet and seems to sparkle slightly in the light. He gives you
another soft smile as he turns back to what he was doing.
Carrying:
>Cloud leans against a tree, arms crossed in front of him. "..."
>Celes looks thoughtful looking at angelic being.
>Cale walks slowly into town and comes to a stop to watch things for a moment.
>Cloud watches them both, unsure quite what to make of the scene.
>World of Elegance raises both eyebrows, turning to Celes. "Did I do something
wrong?" she inquires innocently.
>Cale hmms and continues on stepping into the magic shop.
>Cale has left.
>World of Elegance blinks, then *palmslaps* and nods a few times. "Right,
name..." She seems to give this some serious thought.
>Celes says, "I am Celes Chere, Rune Knight from far away."
>World of Elegance nods thoughtfully. "That's a pretty name. It's kind of long
though..." She smiles and then goes back to thinking a bit. Weird. Very weird.
>Cloud . o O ( .............. ? )
>Celes asks, "You don't have a name...?"
>Skuld wanders into town.
>Skuld has arrived.
>Cloud leans against a tree, watching Celes and the Angel with great interest.
"..."
>World of Elegance blinks and shakes her head. "Where I'm from, names aren't
really a big issue, Ms. Chere Rune Knight from far away."
>Skari walks along the trail into town, just enjoying the experience of fresh
air.
>Skari glances over at the party of individuals talking, and her face reflects a
very interesting range of emotions as her gaze falls on one person. . o ( Oh,
no... what's sis doing here? )
>Celes blins, "Oh, divine angelic being...you may call me Celes. Rune Knight
is..was my job..Tis a custom to name them along in the introduction.."
>World of Elegance ahhhs thoughtfully. She shakes her wild locks of hair free
from her shoulder, then shrugs and nods, sitting on the air thoughtfully. "I
believe you can call me...World of Elegance. Although I can't return the favor
of listing my job, Ms. Chere."
>Cloud . o O ( ........ How unusual ...... )
>Skari quietly approaches the group, silently hoping that her sister doesn't
give her away.
>X has arrived.
>Celes bows deeply, "Well met, World of Elegance. Oh, and I'm Celes..not Ms
Chere." she smiles pleasently.
>X walks back out and smiles, bowing once more, "I have returned like I said.
Sorry."
>World of Elegance smiles faintly, standing up and "bowing" somewhat as well
(the wings get in the way). "Alright then, Celes." She giggles faintly, until
she's getting up and catches something out of the corner of her eye: Skari.
Celes glances to X, "Did you get the job, sirrah?"
>X shrugs to Celes, "Sort of. I have to find items and give it to them for money
or I get nothing..."
>Celes asks, "Items?"
>X nods, "Magical items."
>Cloud comments, "... Better than living in a ditch, perhaps."
>Celes says, "a quest..before being hired? That's...interesting."
>Skari looks nervously at the angel.
>World of Elegance capriciously leaves her new friend behind as she floats
gently through the air over to Skari. Who should KNOW better than to think she
can get away, too. ;) "Good EVEning, Sister!" she shouts.
>Skari . o O ( Please, I'm still getting used to this avatar, I don't want to
have to make a new one. Don't blow my cover... -_-; Too late. )
>Cloud raises an eyebrow. "...."
>Skari sighs and looks at the ground. "..." She takes a deep breath and
mutters a greeting to the angel.
>Celes watches the meeting between a girl and a angel. ^_^
>World of Elegance giggles, floating around to Skari's side and grinning at her
face. "What was that, Skari? I can't *hear* you!" She giggles into her hand.
>Cloud seems remarkable jaded... or apathetic. He does watch these events with
note.
>Skari bites her lip. "Good evening," she says with a sigh.
>X watches the two curiously
>World of Elegance smiles contentedly, settling down to the ground with a smile.
"See? It wouldn't pay for a temple maiden of your stature to be rude, Miss
Skari," she says quietly, with a sly smile...her voice has a slightly mystical
edge to it.
>World of Elegance (OOC) FYI: Elegance is using a slight amount of holy magic to
alter your memories. She certainly did not call Skari "sister" :)
>World of Elegance (OOC) Resist, pose, whatever as necessary. I am not so twinky
as to just assume it happens. n.n
>Skari looks innocent. "I'm just a ward of the temple; I haven't taken vows
yet." She shoots a glance to Elegance that promises dire fate if the angel
says otherwise.
>Cloud (OOC) assumes he's affected as well?
>World of Elegance (OOC) LIke I said, you know your character better than I. :)
>X (OOC) has no idea whats going on so he just smiles and nods... like he does

>Celes says, "(OOC) ye blame everything on Sephiroth when things go wrong ^_-"

>Skari looks around at the others in the area. Her eyes light up slightly at
the sight of X. . o ( A golem! )
>World of Elegance follows Skari's gaze....to X. She seems to focus on him as if
she were adjusting a pair of invisble glasses...then *erks*
>Cloud . o O ( ... An actual angel? There was that golem before... now this.

>Celes is looking at Skari now, not X.
>Skari notices X's reaction and turns away for a moment, looking at the others.
>Cloud was referring to Zelgadis as the golem... not that it matters. His
attention is mostly focused on World.
>World of Elegance eyes Skari warily.
>Skari notices Celes' gaze and blinks. "Uhm, good evening...?"
>Celes nods, "Evening.."
>World of Elegance floats back on the balls of her proverbial feet, pointing at
Celes. "That is Miss Celes Chere, Miss Skari," she says, subtly emphasizing the
MISS when she addresses Skari. "She's a Rune Knight from...far away." She
smiles proudly.
>Cloud . o O ( ... Rune knight? Is that a force similar to Lord Shinra's
knights...? )
>Celes bows to Miss Skari, "Well met, Miss Skari." She glances to both, "What is
the relation between you two...? A guardian angel and a chosen?"
>Skari shakes her head. "I'm a ward of the Temple of Skuld." She indicates the
little white and red fastener in her hair. Then she turns to indicate
Elegance. "She's... associated with the followers of Urd, who is the sister of
Skuld." She pauses. "We've... met before."
>World of Elegance makes a little V with her fingers. She's a divine
manifestation, a little anachronism never hurt anyone.
>Skari is seriously tempted to kick the angel in the shins, but it wouldn't be
proper for an orphan ward of a temple to kick a divine being. It's very, very
tempting though.
>Cloud says, ".......' O_o -.-;"
>Celes nods her head, "Ah..Indeed."
>Skari glances over at Cloud's facial contortions and quiet strangled noise.
"Are you ok?"
>World of Elegance grins. "What Miss Skari isn't mentioning is that Lady Urd is
known in many forms, in many places. I am merely someone devoted to her
service." This is not in and of itself a lie.
>Cloud blinks, looking at Skari. "..." He shrugs. "... Yes."
>Celes says, "Lady Urd is...? I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with any of local
religions.."
>Skari has no grounds to criticize Elegance's bending of the truth, having been
mildly less than truthful herself. She -is- a ward of the Temple of Skuld.
She just neglected to mention that she is also the avatar of Skuld. For some
reason, people have this annoying habit of not finishing conversations with her
when they find out she's a deity, which is why she started this whole avatar
business to begin with.
>World of Elegance coughs. "Well! Ahem." She glances at Skari. "You're the
religion expert, MISS temple ward. Would you rather explain?"
>That's a LOT of trust from urd to Skuld right there. These two know each other
well.
>Cloud blinks at that. Rather odd comment from an angel O_o
>Skari shoots a glance at the angel, and takes a long suffering sigh. "*Lady*
Urd is the goddess of love, magic, and
the past. She doesn't have too many temples, but she does have a fair number
of followers. Her followers do things like make love potions and other magic
potions." She relents a little. "But they do work to try to help out people
who are having bad luck, and help them get back on their feet."
>Cloud says, "... That would tend to attact followers, I imagine."
>World of Elegance looks at Skari like she just turned into a ROCK for a moment,
then recovers and smiles. "Nicely stated, Ms. Skari," she comments blithely.
>Skari sticks her tongue out at the angel briefly, when no one appears to be
looking.
>Celes nods to Skari, "Twould be a peaceful and good Temple then. I am glad to
hear that."
>World of Elegance smiles faintly. "It was honestly pleasant meeting with you
all. Lady's favo be upon you," she says with a wink, before vanishing in a
small swirl of fiery golden spheres of light.
>Cloud goes wide-eyed at the departure, but the shock quickly fades. "..."
>Celes bows, "...and with thee, divine angel."
>Skari sighs and mutters, "Exhibitionist..."
>Cloud glances at Skari. No comment.
>Urd has disconnected.
>X looks around quietly and hmms..

>Skari looks around, after the angel departs. "So, do you talk to her often?"
Addressing the area in general.
>Cloud says, "... I'm afraid not."
>Celes says, "Nay, tis my first time."
>Skari nods at Cloud and Celes. "I take it you aren't from around here?" She
looks at Celes. "Miss Elegance said you came from 'far away'," she turns to
Cloud, "And you didn't know anything about the religions around here..."
>Cloud shrugs at Skari. "... I've been looking for work."
>Cloud doesn't specifiy what KIND of work he's looking for... but the claymore
should say enough about that.
>Celes says, "I wish to call this place a home one day..."
>X walks toward the tavern, nodding to the people...
>X heads into the San Marina Tavern!
>Skari nods at Celes. "It's a nice place. Good people, mostly."
>Cloud says, "Very peaceful, from what I've seen."
>Skari says, "Mostly."
>Cloud looks at Skari at that comment, but doesn't question.
>Skari says, "There are a few brigands on the roads, but there's been no wars or
huge battles in recent times."
>Cloud says, rather half-heartedly, "Luckily."
>Skari looks at Cloud. "You sound like you LIKE fighting..."
>Cloud shrugs at Skari. "... It's all I have experience with."
>Celes says, "..."
>Skari says, "You could always learn something new."
>Cloud says, "Perhaps I'll try that." He kicks off from where he was leaning
against the tree, and starts walking towards the inn.

>Cloud walks into the inn, unless someone feels like stopping him.
>Skari almost considers it, but if Cloud wants to be alone, it's his business.
