Fenris Park
A large expanse of open land unfolds before you..one that is covered in a soft,
well manacured carpet of an unbelievable emerald green grass. To the southeast
of you, the level land slopes downward to the small sandy beach of a pristine
mountain lake..children playing about on the shoreline..fish leaping out of the
water. The park is borered by a thick line of trees to keep visitors from
straying too far out of boundaries..though a few are still kept within to
provide shade, and perhaps a good amount of exercise climbing within their
branches. All in all, a great place to sit and ponder the mysteries of the
universe, or what you're going to have for dinner.

>Keiko is stretching, while two guys glare at each other.
>Garr strides in from the street, pausing to examine the area . o O ( Hmm... I
haven't seen this area of town yet... )
Keiko
You see a rather strange-looking.... neko-chan? Sure enough, from her black
cat-ears to a curling tail swaying behind her, Keiko is a strange mix of feline
and human. Her face is quite human, in spite of a few small tiger stripes
curling up to the edge of her cheek, a pair of gold cat eyes, and tiny fangs.
Atop her head is a mess of dark brown curls, some tamed back into a ponytail
with a green piece of cloth.
Keiko has a rather heavy yet lithe build, which was probably built by years
of hard work. While not stunningly beautiful, she's a little pretty in a
tomboyish way. O.O She wears a sleeveless, cream-colored, mock turtleneck,
which is covered by a worn, loose, leather jacket when it's cold. A pair of
denim jeans and two army combat boots donning her feet with comfy off-white
socks that match her shirt complete the ensemble.
Carrying:
>Vega is leaning up against one of the trees, arms crossed, and attention
turning from Keiko, to Ryu, to the people bustling about. He glances up, giving
Garr a complete double-take, then keeping his stare there for a long moment.
>Ryu_Hoshi stretches slightly.
>Garr steps forward, coming to a (painfully) close distance with those already
present. He doesn't carry his spear at the moment. He bows to Keiko. "Good
evening, young miss."
>Ryu_Hoshi turns to Garr quietly.
>Keiko grins a little. "How's the sport doin'?"
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "Excellent, excellent... keeping himself busy, last
I saw."
>Ryu_Hoshi . o O ( Those arms.. they remind me of Sagat's.. )
>Vega finishes his study of the creature, then resumes his calm look about the
park, checking for other arrivals as well, maybe. His eyes stray now and then
towards Ryu, but away just about as quickly.
>Garr takes a seat on the grass, closing his eyes and clasping his hands
together.
>Ryu_Hoshi rummages through his backpack for a moment.
Ryu_Hoshi
Standing before you is a young man in a sleeveless white karate gi. His eyes
are focused, but you get the impression he is aware of everything around him. A
red headband is tied around his forehead, and red vambraces on his wrists. He
smiles to you, saying, "Hello."

Vega
As you look over at him, Vega takes notice, turning his head to return the look
to you. He stands at 6'2", elegantl, with a dancer's build and grace. His hair,
incredibly long, shines a reddish-brown color, the ends of his locks dangling
past his hips and sweeping over the back of his thighs. He raises a hand,
moving a strand of the loose locks out of his eyes, then shakes it into place,
returning his slant-edged green eyes back to their search of the room, as
though looking everywhere but the one who's reguarding him. A muscular cut is
revealed beneath his tanned skin, build slimming down to long and muscular
legs.
His chest is completely bare, showing off his well-formed and firm chest
muscles. The elaborately-styled tattoo of a snake begins, head and neck, along
his left pectoral, the body winding its way up and along his shoulder, around
his waist, and along his right arm in two green-scaled bands at his bicep. It
is realistic, looking as though it may drop from his body at any moment. His
legs are clothed in a pair of tight matador pants, blue, with a yellow stripe
running up either side of his leg. A sash of brilliant red is tied around his
waist as a belt, the end sweeping and drifting slightly.

>Garr meditates in quiet, likely scaring the bejeezus ouf of the more normal
people here.
>Vega is...well....intrigued. Ok, he's nervous. He's seen some wierd things in
his day, but Garr takes the cake.
>Ryu_Hoshi isn't all THAT amazed. A couple rounds with Blanka or Zangeif will
remove all wonder.
>Garr opens an eye to scan Ryu, slowly, then Vega. "..."
>Vega scans in return, not moving too much from his place. Just enough to shift
his weight from his right foot, over to his left foot.
>Ryu_Hoshi studies Garr a bit as well.
>Shinayaka arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Shinayaka quietly creeps up into a tree to watch. o.@

Shinayaka
A long tall, lanky humanoid remnant, with pointy ears, black hairs, and eyes
covered by shades. He is wearing a very odd outfit, that almost looks like
spandex.
Carrying:
>Vega looks over at the newcomer from his lean against one of the trees.
Hopefully, a different tree than Shinayaka chose to climb.
>Keiko looks to the manager. "You did announce, right?" "Hai, I did, Miss
Keiko."
>Shinayaka creeps out...
>Shinayaka opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Sana arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Sana-chan comes walking realllllllllllly quick into the park, holding a kite,
beaming. She quickly loses her smile, staring at the large crowd.
>Garr sits on the grass, hands clasped before him, and eyes closed.
>Vega leans against a tree, watching the goings-on, eyes partly closed, though
still alert.
>A manager looks at the little girl. "Would you like to see the wonderful Keiko?
Only five dollars (whatever is the yen equivalent... ^-^;;)."
>Keiko comes over. "Boss... She's a kid... I'll pay for it."
>Sana-chan looks around, then unfurls her kite and then starts running, the kite
slowly flying up behind her. Bright brown eyes, pigtails flying in the wind,
the little girl starts running... at least until she runs into the manager, the
kite not quite getting off ground. O.o
>Sana-chan blinkblinks. "Who's Keikoand why are you here? o.o"
>Derek arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Derek arrives, with Cloud following behind.
>Garr sits on the grass, hands clasped before him, and eyes closed.
>The manager beams. "I'm the runner of this fine show... Keiko is an amazing
catgirl who does various stunts and tricks. All real, no fakes!"
>Sana-chan asks, "... catgirl?"
>Sana-chan tilts her head to look at Keiko. Her bright brown eyes light up.
"KAWAIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
>Vega leans back against one of the trees, arms crossed across his chest and
keeping an eye on things. Sana is given a condescending glance, before he
snorts softly, looking towards the new people as they, too, arrive.
>Garr opens his eyes now. "..."
>The manager grins with the same charm of a used car salesman. "Why, a blend of
feline and human, all rolled into this talented young lady you see before you."
>Garr hmms quietly . o O ( Obnoxious man... )
>The manager beams. "The show starts in a few minutes... Only five dollars! What
a deal!"
>Sana-chan blinkblinks, her hands clasped up to her chin. "How'd you do
that,that's a really neat makeup trick!"
>Derek looks over and then rakes his hair away from his eyes. He blinks, "You
gotta pay? Sheesh.."
>Sana-chan hasn't yet noticed Garr, where he? o.o
>Garr speaks up. "It is a small fee, why not pay?"
>Ryu_Hoshi looks to the manager quietly, then gives the truly annoying manager a
crisp $10. "Here's for myself, and the little girl."
>Sana-chan thought Garr was a statue. o.o
>Vega looks at the manager, more than a little haughtily. Go ahead. _Make_ him
pay for it.
>Keiko grins herself. "No, this is real. And, boss... Make this show a free one,
will you?"
>Sana-chan beaaaaaaaaams up at Ryu. "Thankyoumister!" she exclaims with
breathless enthusiasm.
>The boss's beam turns into a frown. "Miss Keiko, I must say that what you are
saying is rather radical..." He grins at the ten dollar bill as small dollar
signs appear in his eyes.
>Ryu_Hoshi smiles down to Sana-chan, "Enjoy the show."
>Akio has arrived.
>Garr sits on the grass, hands clasped before him, blending into the scenery as
much as a behemoth like him can.
>Derek crosses his arms . o O ( Hmm, Garr's here too. Don't recognize the rest
of 'em.. )
>Vega finally leans down to his knapsack with some thought, pulling out a bill
from it. He folds it over once, holding it between two fingers as he awaits the
man to pass his way. He looks at the arrivals with a reading glance.
>Akio idly moves toward a tree and sits at the base of one that is unoccupied by
children or other parkgoers, folding one leg into an inverted 'v' and draping
his arm over it, dark hand languidly hanging just off his knee. Jealous green
eyes take in all that is around him with a bored expression.
>Keiko says, "Lower the price at least. One dollar." "Two dollars." "One
dollar and fifty cents." The man then gets distracted by Vega's dollar. "Um...
Deal! You handle the business, Miss Keiko... I need to take a break." Keiko
nods as the manager nonchalantly waddles over to Vega. $.$
>Garr slowly reaches down, drawing a small coin from a pouch at his belt. He
hands it to the manager (or Keiko, as appropriate)
>Keiko takes the coin. "Honestly, Garr... This is a little too much for just a
show..." The manager's too hypnotized by Vega's money to relaize the
coversation going on.
>Garr hmms. "Then break a piece off and keep that."
>Keiko grins. "You do that... Breaking metal isn't my strong point."
>Vega leans over and towards the manager, talking to him in a slightly lower
voice. His eyes glance around the group slightly, then back at the man,
murmering still more. The money wave..wave...waves vaguely back and forth to
hold his attention.
>Sana-chan beammmmmmms, picking up her kite and then looking up at Keiko and...
o.o Garr. "... Where's the... show? o.O"
>Garr does so, snapping the coin in half with his thumb and forefinger.
>Sana-chan says, "... ... ..." as he looks over to Derek. "... what sort of
fighting show is this?"
>Derek reaches in a pocket and gets out some money, mumbling something under his
breath 9_9
>Benches are set up not too far away as there are props set up.
>Sana-chan zooooooooooms over to the show. *_*
>Garr stands up, plodding down to the seats at a leisurely pace.
>The manager listens. Boy, does he listen. O.O His eyes follow the money as well.
>Keiko looks at the crowd as she begins accepting money. . o O ( I wish ol'
sport was here... He'd enjoy this... )
>Vega finally flashes the manager a winning grin, finishing with, "...I assume
that's fine with you?" Wave.
>The manager nodnods. $.$
>Sana-chan props herself up on the seat, beaming up, waiting.
Thumpthumpthumpthump goes her feet.
>Vega nods at the man and holds the bill out towards him. "Pleased to make your
aquaintence, then."
>The manager takes the bill. "Of course, sir. ^-^"
>Garr takes a seat on one of the benches that are set up.
>Ryu_Hoshi whispers to Keiko with a smile.
>Derek goes over to hand the money to Keiko and takes a seat not far from Garr.
He leans forward to say something to him..
>Derek mumbles, "Hey, any news on Esmerelda? It's like she's gone into hiding or
something.." to Garr.
>Derek mumbles, "..... .. ..... news ..... Esmerelda .. ..... like
she's gone ..... ..... or ..... .. .." to Garr.
>Cloud follows Derek over, seating himself next to him. At the words Esmerelda,
he slowly looks over...
>Garr raises an eyebrow and pauses, then replies to Derek.
>You mumble, "I have not seen her in days... it does not bode well, she must be
planning..." to Derek.
>Garr mumbles, "..... have not seen ..... in days .. .. .. .....
..... ..... bode ..... .. she must be planning .. .. .." to Derek.
>Keiko looks at Ryu, hmming. She whispers back.
>Sana-chan keeps rocking her feet. Uh, she's gettingbored. o.o
>Vega listens as best he can to the murmering, his foot toying with the duffel
bag at his side.
>Cloud leans forward, looking at Garr.
>Cloud mumbles, "... you haven't talked to Kim yet?" to Garr Derek.
>Cloud mumbles, ".. .. .. you haven't talked ..... Kim ..... .." to
Garr Derek.
>Garr opens his eyes wide. '...?
>Derek mumbles, "Uh.. Lyrae said that Kim had taken off without a trace earlier.
Why, what would we have to ask Kim about?" to Garr Cloud.
>Derek mumbles, "Uh .. .. ..... ..... that Kim had taken off .....
..... ..... ..... .. ..... .. what would ..... ..... ..... .....
..... ..... .." to Garr Cloud.
>The manager goes up to Keiko and Ryu. "Okay, you two, shows about to start.
Sir, you get started, and Keiko, get your costume on.
>Cloud mumbles, "SHe'd know more about Esmerelda. Could it be...?" to Garr Derek.
>Cloud mumbles, "..... ..... ..... ..... ..... .. ..... ..... ..... ..
.. .. .." to Garr Derek.
>Ryu_Hoshi nods, flashing Keiko a smile. "Goodluck."
>Keiko smiles and nods.
>Ryu_Hoshi heads over to the seats.
>Vega is quite comfortable where he is. He shows no real sign of wanting to
move. After all, he has a good view of everything from here, and it's out of
the way of the fighters anyhow.
>Keiko darts into a tent as the manager goes in front of the audience. "Thank
you, ladies and gentlemen, for coming to this fine show."
>Sana-chan leans forward, beaming happily.
>Derek mumbles, "Cloud, I seriously doubt that.. Why would Kim want to go after
her by herself?" to Cloud Garr.
>Derek mumbles, "..... .. I ..... doubt ..... .. .. ..... would .....
..... ..... go after her by ..... .." to Cloud Garr.
>Cloud mumbles, "No... what if she was trying to get away?" to Garr Derek.
>Cloud mumbles, "No .. .. .. what ..... ..... ..... trying ..... get
..... .." to Garr Derek.
>Garr listens quietly to the three-way discussion. "..."
>Ryu_Hoshi listens to the manager's routine.
>Derek sighs and shrugs, then looks up at the show that's starting..
>The manager beams as he continues, "Who is Keiko, you may ask? What is this
girl's past? It all starts long ago... It began with me, a man with a dream,
and a wonderful talented young lady. We shared this dream... to bring an
entertaining show to an audience of all ages. All this is very real... My
associate spends forever perfecting her stunts..."
>Garr clasps his hands together once more, closing his eyes as he listens.
"Some things may shock you horribly, yet don't be afraid. Keiko is great at
what she does, and she can handle anything thrown at her. Now... the moment
you've been aallll waiting for..."
>Sana-chan *_* *_* *_* *_* *_* *_* and starts applauding like crazy.
>Vega can't help but grin slightly at the second bit, raising his hands and
clapping them politely together.
>The manager gestures to a podeum. "The one, the only..." Smoke begins to gather
around the podeum...
>Cloud quietly crosses his arms, watching.
>Derek clasps his hands behind his head . o O ( Reminds me of that carnival
sideshow that came through years ago.. )
>Garr . o O ( Trite... but less bloodshed then the collesium, apparently. )
>Harlequin arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Harlequin has arrived.
>"Keiko no Neko-chan!" The smoke lessens to reveal a rather decorated female
with many cat-like features too real to be possibly make-up. She bows
gracefully to the audience and shouts, "Good evening, Fenris Park! Are you
ready for some action?!?"
>Harlequin phases in behind the crowd, drawn in....
>Sana-chan blinkblinkblinks. o.o "HAIIIIIIIIII!"
>Ryu_Hoshi smiles slightly at Sana-chan's enthusiasm.
>Derek claps politely . o O ( Looks convincing...so far.. )
>Harlequin watches, blinking large red eyes. Will there be pain, fear, death,
here? She hopes so. She hasn't eaten in awhile.
>Sana-chan blinkblinkblinks. o.o "HAIIIIIIIIII!"
>Vega nods silently at that. His hands again settle, crossing his arms again.
>Garr doesn't reply. Excitement just... isn't him.
>Pan arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Akio watches mainly out of idle curiosity, but this kind of display does little
for him... he's got other things on his mind.
>Keiko says, "Are you ready for some fun?!?" Obviously, these questions are to
get the audience started up and excited, as they do in many public events.
>Pan-chan nods
>Vega nods as well, thoughtfully. He's more interested in the action, than the
noise, though.
>Harlequin floats over the heads of the audience, down closer. She needs to be
closer...
>Sana-chan applauds LOUDLY! "HAIIIIIIIIII!"
>Garr notices Harlequin out of the corner of his eye. Something sets his senses
off... but he doesn't make any obvious reaction at this point.
>Most of the crowd (all composed of Hollywood extras, of course) seems to be
cheering in the same manner of Sana.
>Ryu_Hoshi already has the impression something is seriously wrong; he's trying
to keep it from being outwardly expressive on his face.
>A few members of the audience gasp at the floating mime from hell that passes
overhead, but assume it's merely part of the show and clap.
>Derek blinks and looks up, "Eh?" 9_9

Temp Desc>> A thin humanoid female. She has large, slitted, cat-like red eyes,
a small mouth with red and black full lips and no nose. Her body is all white,
like it is suited from head to toe, and atop her head is a black jester's cap
that comes down to a v-shaped point between her eyes. One tassle is decorated
with red spades. Her hands and feet are covered in long black boots and gloves,
marked with red spades; her silver fingerclaws protrude from the glove. A small
black choker with a red gem circles her throat, and a red gem rest in her
chest, just above her large, full breasts.

>Cloud does not do anything but sit there with his arms crossed.
>Vega follows Harlequin with his eyes for a moment, then cranes his neck to get
a better look. Again, he doesn't have the shock that some people would...he's
seen stuff like this before. Well, not to that extreme, but...
>Harlequin is a bit frightened by the clapping. She shimmers and seems to
dissapear. But for those with keen eyes, a faint outline of her ripples down to
the ground near the front of the audience.
>Pan-chan blinks as the figure apparently dissapears, but she still has an oddd
feeling.
>Keiko eyes the figure, then briefly blinks as it goes away. . o O ( Could that
be shimmering...? It must be the stress. )
>Pan-chan floats up into the air, looking around for the 'vanishing figure'
>Ryu_Hoshi is watching the show, so he really doesn't see any of the background
crowd-ish activity.
>Keiko says, "All right, then!" She throws her arm up and *poses*, doing a
victory sign. "My first trick will be something rather simple..."
>Garr . o O ( Hmmph. I hope the show isn't ruined... )
>Two amber, slitted eyes watch, waiting for the fight to start.
>Keiko says, "I shall now jump through some hoops..." She grins slyly as the
attendants move the hoops by her and lighting them. "Flaming hoops."
>Sana-chan stares, brown eyes wide open. O.O "Nooooooooooo... "
>Derek mumbles, "..... ..... the ..... ..... ..... .. .. .." to Cloud.
>Harlequin shrieks, "ooo!"
>Yeeeeeeees...
>Cloud mumbles, "Good question .. .. .." to Derek.
>Pan-chan flies forward, landing in front of the crowd, and sits down to get a
real good view.
>Harlequin watches the hoops, fading into view, clapping her hands.
>Garr sits quietly, not even moving much. "..."
>Keiko says, "I was going to do just three, yet you all probably want something
worth your money... I shall do... six hoops."
>Pan-chan clapclaps
>Harlequin looks in her blood-stained backpack that she's been dragging around.
Money? Is that what this paper stuff in the bottom is? And what is if for,
anyway?
>Ryu_Hoshi . o O ( Six? That'd require one nice leap to make without getting
burned.. )
>Vega nods at that, in quiet approval. This should, incdeed, be something worth
seeing.
>Keiko smiles. "I shall now perform this death-defying stunt with the help of
nothing but my own speed, wit, and talent."
>Cloud mumbles, ".. .. .. ..... .. .. .. .. .. .. this seems to
be a ..... ..... .." to Derek.
>Derek . o O ( And some luck probably wouldn't hurt either.. )
>Ryu_Hoshi watches intently, he might just pick up a little knowledge from this.
>Keiko asks, "Would a member of the audience come up to prove my claim is valid?"
>Derek mumbles, "Yeah .. ..... stick around ..... ..... little while
..... .. maybe it's slow ..... start .. .." to Cloud.
>Harlequin watches. Perhaps this might prove tasty.
>Pan-chan hops onto the stage in a single flip. "Hai!"
>Vega looks over at Pan, then back to Keiko, not moving. He's happy to stay
where he is.
>Sana-chan blinkblinkblinks. o.O
>Keiko nods. "Please examine the props, please.... Yet be careful."
>Pan-chan examines each hoop, as best she can for being 3' tall.
>Pan-chan says, "Is hoops."
>Keiko keeps a good eye on Pan, making sure she's okay as she examines them.
"Thank you, miss." ^-^
>Pan-chan says, "Hai! :)"
>Pan-chan says, "I am Pan."

Pan
You see a precocious little girl, looking back at you with her black eyes, her
inky black hair cut like a rough bowl cut with some stray hairs in her face.
She's pretty short, but that's something you'ld expect in someone who's about 4
years old. She's also spunky and energetic, and she looks pretty tough... If
it wasn't for her voice, you might take her for a little boy. She's wearing a
orange ghi who's pattern seems to follow that of her grandfather, Gokou-sama.
Also, there is a marroonish-red wristbands and belt, though the loose-fitting
ghi hides most of the belt. She's wearing little orange pants, black sneakers
with white stripes, and white socks that almost come up to her knees. She sees
you looking at her.

Keiko grins and nods.
>Pan-chan stands around waiting to be told what to do next, smiling broadly.
>Keiko smiles. o O ( What a sweet kid. ) "You may sit now."
>Pan-chan hops back to her seat.
>Garr hmms. . o O ( Should be interesting to watch, though she'll make it
easily... )
>Keiko motions to the audience. "You heard her, folks. This is all very real."
>Cloud mumbles, "..... ..... don't ..... ..... ..... a fighting .....
.. .. .. where did ..... ..... ..... .." to Derek.
>Harlequin looks at Garr, studying him.
>Keiko does a victory sign. o O ( Everything's real except the mask I put on....
*sigh* )
>Pan-chan clapclaps
>Keiko gracefully turns to face the hoops, her body tensing to prepare to do
this powerful long jump...
>Ryu_Hoshi clasps his hands together, studying this intently.
>Vega watches, intently.
>Sana-chan leans forward, holding her breath, her eyes shining.
>Eden arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Keiko's muscles propel her through the hoops, her feline attributes giving her
a longer distance as she nimbly jumps through the hoops. When she makes it to
the other side, she does a couple flips, then turns to the audience, doing a V
for victory sign.
>Garr applauds, for short while at least.
>Pan-chan clapclaps!
>Ryu_Hoshi claps, "Impressive.."

Eden
This girl stands off to one side of the gathering, demurely, not
quite timidly. She is young, no more than 17 or 18, and stands some
157cm(5'2"). Her hair, which falls thick and straight down her back
almost to her knees, is light brown and her distant, guarded eyes are
the blue of faded denim. She has a certain presence, an aura almost,
an impression of helplessness and of stricken innocence.
Eden is currently wearing only a kind of bodysuit, snowy white and
barely opaque. It fits her like a second skin, covering her completely
from the middle of the neck down and clearly outlining her slim but
well-curved figure. While the suit is mostly featureless, closer
examination shows small leads and metallic-looking patches on its neck,
and on the wrists, perhaps plugs of some kind.
Eden watches what is happening around her, looks at the people
nearby, but she keeps a distance from it all, whether physical or
metaphorical, seeming always the outsider.

>Cloud applauds politely.
>Vega raises his hands and applauds at that, nodding appreciatively. . o O (Very
impressive. Very imrepssive indeed. )
>Sana-chan CHEEEEEEEEEEEERS! *_*
>Derek mumbles, "..... said it ..... the flyer .. .. ..... I dunno ..
maybe ..... part's ..... .. .." to Cloud.
>Eden walks up to the edge of the crowd, stretching up as far as she really is
able to see what the commotion is about.
>Keiko, of course, is breathing like a gymnanist after a diffcult round of flips.
>Derek claps as he looks back over his shoulder . o O ( Eh? Hey, it's that girl
from the church.. )
>Harlequin frowns. When's the fighting start?
>Eden . o O ( More very strange-looking people... )
>Keiko grins. "Of course... Some of you are probably wanting to see some
skillful fighting. I shall accept any challenges... yet the challenger must be
my age at least." She grins.
>Keiko says, "And.... no weapons or magic."
>Harlequin looks at herself. Age? What is age?
>Garr hmms and opens his eyes. We'll see what the response is first...
>Ryu_Hoshi sighs in relief on the no weapons bit.
>Derek crosses his arms . o O ( Hmph..little less interesting.. )
>Vega looks around at the rest of the people. There's a feral hint to his eyes
now, and he's smiling ever so slightly.
>Derek mumbles, "Hey .. ..... you wanted to ..... ..... .. I'd .....
.. ..... think I'll ..... ..... a while longer .. .." to Cloud.
>( One of the Hollywood extra's hands go up. One stands a rather burly looking
man. "I'll whip dis fakey in no time." )
>Keiko says, "Fake, you say?" She grins.
>Cloud mumbles, "..... .. ..... see ..... ..... .. then .. .. .." to
Derek.
>Eden lightly hops to sit on a shoulder-height branch of a tree behind her,
resting where she can see what is happening.
>Garr reaches up to rub his chin . o O ( Why not. This will certainly make the
show worth it. And I'll let her win, she's a nice girl.) He looks over at the
red-shirt, and decides not to enter yet.
>Vega looks back at the man, giving him a once-over, then looks back to the fore
again. . o O (This shouldn't take long...)
>Cloud stands up, nodding to Derek, and slowly makes his way back out....
>Seventeen arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Cloud opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Pan-chan hugs her knees and looks at the ring
>Harlequin turns to look at Seventeen.
>Keiko grins as he gets into a position. She does the tradition bow as the man
reluctantly bows. "Yeah, yeah, lady... Let's git it over wit!"
>Keiko looks at the man. "You are sure about this, right?" "Yeah, yeah!"
>Ryu_Hoshi watches this 'battle' with a practiced eye.
>17's eyes move from person to person as he draws to a halt at the edge of the
gathering.
>Garr . o O ( This should be swift. )
>Harlequin. o O ( Much negative energy from that one. )
>Eden . o O ( One is trained, one is not. Why do they need to compete? )
>Derek . o O ( Hope that guy's got a good doctor to get the dents out of his
face.. )
>Vega looks over to 17 for a moment, then back to the fight, his gaze intent.
Far more of interest right over there.
>Ryu_Hoshi . o O ( This should be quick, but it will show her most basic
techniques. )
>Harlequin waits. Her eyes swirl then turn a bright, glowing, hellfire amber.
Her pupils narrow to mere lines.
>The burly man then goes to to punch Keiko. Keiko swiftly flips by him and lands
a precise kick around his back. No enough force to make him unconcious... but
enough to make him be dazed a little. The man then falls down onto the ground.
"Ready to play quits?" "Yeah, yeah!!" He then gets off and runs off the stage.

>Keiko looks around. "Any other challengers?"
>Harlequin laughs and grins, closing her eyes.
>Vega shakes his head a little bit. . o O (...I was right.) He looks again to
the people in the crowd.
>Pan-chan looks around
>17 weaves his way to a spot where he can see past the other spectators without
having to hover, stand on his tiptoes, or otherwise do anything other than
stand and watch. After completing his inspection of the other spectators, he
settles his attention on the ring where things are actually happening.
>Keiko. o O ( If someone like Vega comes up, I'll show them all what a fighter I
*really* am... )
>Ryu_Hoshi frowns. . o O { Too short to really see her skills. }

>The large burly extra HURRKS loudly and falls over. Seems to have passed out...
Eden watches the "match," all few seconds of it, then leans back against the
trunk of the tree, drawing up one leg to rub the sole of her foot while she
waits for the next event.
>Vega glances at the big guy, stifling a laugh. . o O (Fellow wasn't ready for
that...)
>Keiko worriedly looks at the burly fellow. "Someone get him an amubulance!"
>A slim figure moves way from the man in a quick flash.
>Sana-chan says, "What kind of show is this? O.o"
>A few medical personel on standby take the man to an ambulance.
>Pan-chan asks, "Why he fall down?"
>Garr frowns. "..."
>He's having...chest pains!
>Eden leans forward, looking to the fallen man.
>Keiko. o O ( Chest pains... I only did a light kick in the back... )
Harlequin giggles.
>"Maybe the fight was too much for him," someone in the audience comments over
the stunned silence.
>Keiko asks, "Hmmm?"
>The commentee shrugs. "Just a suggestion." He sits down. O.o;;
>Harlequin giggles knowingly.
>Pan-chan looks around to see if anyone else is going to fight.
>Garr stands up. And up, and up. "An interesting show, miss."
>Derek . o O ( I'd try...but I can tell she's better than this.. Hrm.. )
>Harlequin decides that she'd rather not be on the ground. She floats up, just
above everyone's head, and seemingly reclines on something invisible.
>Vega looks up at Garr. And up. And up. . o O (Aha. Now _this_ should prove more
informative...)
>Derek opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Derek has left.
>Keiko looks at Garr, then at Harlequin. . o O ( This show's going too far....

>Quietly, Harlequin whispers, "Want to see show. No stop now."
>Harlequin smiles widely.
>You whisper, "Quiet, young one. This will be a very interesting show for
them... I'll go easy, and you do the same." to Keiko.

>Garr mentions something quietly to the star.
>Keiko nods slowly. "Okay, sir... you ready?" She spaces away, doing the
tradition bow.
>Garr strides away from the seats. "Of course."
>Garr clasps his hands in front of him, eyeing the young girl closely, waiting
for her to move...
>Keiko paces around Garr in a circle, having been waiting for Garr to do the same.
>Harlequin giggles.
>Harlequin. o O ( The large man was easy to scare, tasty with fear. But I need
different kinds of food... )
>Garr suddenly takes a step forward, pushing his open palm towards the girl!
>You whisper, "It's painfully slow... but would be quite interesting for a
layman to watch." to Keiko.
>Keiko ducks down, sweeping her foot around towards Garr's foot in an attempt to
trip him.
>Garr shifts several feet backwards as Keiko's sweep solidly connects with his
left leg. He grunts, and sweeps his open palm downwards.
>You whisper, "Garr, at the very least, is purposely... and obviously, to you,
going easy." to Ryu_Hoshi and Vega.
>Ryu_Hoshi whispers, "Ryu_Hoshi nods. "Ryu expected it; he heard some of the
byplay between you two earlier."" to Vega and you.
>Sana has connected.
>Vega whispers, "Vega grins and nods. "That's fine. At least I'm getting a
chance to get an idea of things..."" to Ryu_Hoshi and you.
>Keiko rolls out of the way quickly, using his 'slowness' to her advantage. She
then flings herself onto her feet quickly, swinging a kick at Garr's plam.
>Eden watches the fight for a few more moments before deciding that the crowd is
more interesting, looking over it instead.
>Vega is watching, intently. Mostly watching the girl, as well, you notice.
17 . o O ( I wonder if there's anyone here strong enough for me to fight? It's
hard to tell anymore.. )
>Harlequin merely hangs around like an ant at a picnic. Someone's gonna get
hurt. ^^
>Ryu_Hoshi is watching Keiko primarily, studying her abilities and movements.
>Garr's palm is struck solidly by Keiko's kick, knocking the giant backwards,
unbalanced
>Harlequin giggles.
>Keiko then quickly jabs at Garr's stomach with her stomach, trying to use some
force to assist in Garr falling.
>Harlequin decides to study the crowd, shimmering into a less visible form.
>Garr gets struck by Keiko, toppling over like the biblical Goliath.
>Keiko then bows to Garr. "Would you like to quit now?"
>Garr sits up. "I am defeated... there is no reason to contnue, yes."
>Keiko smiles and offers a hand to help Garr up.
>Pan-chan clapclaps
>Garr stands up, taking Keiko's hand, and bowing to her before taking his prior
seat.
>Keiko says, "You were a great fighter. I am honored."
>Keiko looks to the audience. "Who's next?"
>"I'll challenge you." Vega smiles at her sweetly...well, the sweetly has an
acid tone to it, somehow. He straightens, bending to sweep into a
formal-looking bow.
>Eden continues to watch silently from her perch.
>Harlequin watches Vega with large, catlike eyes. Seems interesting enough.
>Sana-chan x.x and doesn't like fighting. She jumps off her seat, making her way
out.
>Ryu_Hoshi grips his seat, white-knuckled. . o O {VEGA?! Come on, Keiko.. you
can't do this!}
>Sana opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>A man in the crowd runs away, screaming something about spiders.
>17 stands a little too still, as if he's forgotten the finer points of moving
like a normal person. His eyes track every movement within his field of vision,
but other than that he's as immobile as a statue.
>Garr narrows his eyes . o O ( If things go to far I'll join in and show them
my real strength... )
>Keiko looks to Ryu, noticing his frown of disapproval. She looks to Vega. "I'm
afraid I'm a little fatigued now..."
>Vega shakes his head at that. "But your board said you take 'all comers'.
Besides, why would you have challenged otherwise?" He crosses his arms,
levelling his gaze on her.
>Harlequin grins, freaking out a woman next to her as she shows fangs.
>Ryu_Hoshi frowns to Vega, seeming about ready to say something. He glances
around to the crowd, then keeps his mouth shut.
>Keiko says, "This is not a professional fight." Meanwhile, a greedy manager's
mouth drops to the ground in shock. O.O
>Eden crosses her arms over her knees, glancing downward to the ground beneath
her.
>Chrono arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Manager . o O ( She'll earn big money if she defeats that man... Or, if he
wins, I'll get money!! Weeheehee! )
>Vega glances manager-wards, then back over at Keiko again, shaking his head. "I
should have guessed. Two fights, and you're through." he gives a few laughs. "I
should have known it. And I'd hoped for some challenge. But it goes to show
that there are...certain weaknesses with being a woman, I suppose."
>Keiko narrows her eyes instantly. "...What did you just say...?"
>17 . o O ( He should tell that to Juuhachigou. )
>Harlequin cocks her head. .o0( Weaknesses? )
>Garr scowls, but doesn't comment to the arrogant human.
>Vega keeps his face as steady as ever. "No endurance. It's what comes from a
woman being in the ring. A definate problem." He gives a shrug, one foot
pulling the shoulder bag somewhat closer towards him. ANother glance at the
manager, while he's at it.
>Harlequin draws closer, feeding off Keiko's infuriation.
>Pan-chan asks, "What en-dur-ants?"
>Chrono >:) "... ... ..."
>The manager nodnods, running up to Keiko and whispering a few things in her
ear. She narrows her eyes and whispers something back to him.
>Harlequin nods to Pan. "Me want to know too."
>Keiko narrows her eyes as she looks at Vega, whispering, "What exactly are you
trying to pull off, mister...?"
>Deis has arrived.
>Deis-sama blinks, having sensed some gathering of...weird people, and slithers
over to check it out. o.o
>Garr sits in the front row, his arms crossed in front of him.
>Vega looks down at her. "Trying to pull off? Why, nothing. Just saying what's
quite true, in this case: that woman just don't have the stamina."
>Akio isn't weird. He's just sitting here quietly.
>Chrono . o O ( I don't know..Ayla was pretty tough.. o.o; )
>Keiko narrows her eyes. "If that's the way you feel, senior... a fight it is,
then."
>Vega bows again, this time sweeping his hand down to the bag, retrieving a mask
from within it. In a fluid motion, the mask is pulled on and applied, and he
steps away from his spot once again. "If you are so certain that you aren't
tired, Seniorita. You certainly had been complaining about it before."
>Keiko does a quick bow, getting into a fight stance. She waits for Vega to make
his first move.
>Pan-chan watches curiously
>Garr . o O ( Patience, young one... if you react too hastily, he will cut you
down. )
>Deis-sama doesn't notice Garr, yet; is too busy looking at everyone else, and
trying to find a comfy place to sit.
>Vega glances over at the audience...particularly at a certain one. Through the
mask, it's hard to tell what expressions he may hold, before his gaze again
swings to Keiko, his hands raising and his stance shifting, bouncing lightly.
He starts to move, circling lightly, looking for an opening.
>That certain member of the audience was giving a glare back, and now watches
the battle cautiously. . o O {Be careful.. he's fast..}
>Keiko grits her teeth as she waits for Vega, trying to make sure she doesn't
leave a space open.
>Deis-sama grabs a bag of popcorn from..somewhere. At about this moment, she
sees Garr, and slithers over to him, bapping him with her cane lightly as she
arrives at his side. "Well, hello there! This is certainly
interesting...reminds me of the Colisseum.."
>Well, since she doesn't leave one, Vega seems to decide to make one. He steps
backwards, then suddenly skips forward in a small hop-leap, one fist jabbing
swiftly at her midsection.
>Garr gets bapped. He rubs the back of his neck, but doesn't reply for fear of
spoiling the mood. "..."
>Deis-sama curls up (Well, snake-style curling up), and hands him the bag of
popcorn, grinning. "Fancy seeing you here. What's the occasion, or is this the
usual Friday-night Battle Arena Show? n.n"
>Garr . o O ( D...Deis-sama? )
>Harlequin sits and watches, learning. Just being around as many sentients as
she is, she begins to absorb bits and pieces of information.
>Garr blinks. "H... hai, ma'am. A simple show..."
>Keiko gahs and quickly dives under the spaniard, then tries to whip around and
land a kick in his back.
>Vega continues his movement, spinning quickly as she kicks. His arm comes up,
blocking the strike, and he bears in swiftly, his fist swinging to strike the
forward leg with a sharp thrust-punch.
>Deis-sama noddles. "Interesting. I haven't seen one of these in a very long
time.." With that, she takes a few pieces of popcorn, pops them into her mouth,
and stretches out to watch the fight in comfort.
>Chrono has disconnected.
>Ryu_Bateson arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Keiko gasps in pain as she pulls her foot back.
>Garr sits in the front row, next to Deis-sama. Keiko and Vega are locked in
combat.
>Deis-sama turns, to see who's just entered...and her eyes get a kinda
pleasantly-surprised look in them for a second. O o
>Vega pulls himself into a ready stance again, not letting up as she pulls back.
He step-leaps forward again, feet hardly touching the ground as he moves in,
snapping a kick at her side.
>Ryu Bateson looks around from the entrance of the park..looking quite
distinguished from the prominant point overlooking the newly proclaimed
'arena'. He flicks back his bangs dignantly, then promptly trips on a rock in
the path and falls.
>Keiko grits her teeth as she flips away. She then bends down and jabs at Vega's
abdomen.
>Garr . o O ( W... w... What is Deis-s-s-sama doing here? >O.O< )
>Ryu Bateson sweatdrops quietly. o O ( Good thing I wear knee-guards and
gloves.. ) He stands back to his feet, dusting himself off, and strides about,
looking at the gathered crowd. He hasn't seen Deis yet.
>Vega pulls his arm in, deflecting the strike slightly. It hits him, striking
well, but not doing much damage. In retaliation, he steps forward again,
dropping to one knee and striking an uppercut-strike at her chin and face.
>Harlequin is so busy concentrating that she doesn't notice the leer the
drunkard behind her is giving her. He reaches forward and grabs her chest, a
nasty grin on his face. Harly hisses loudly, her eyes turning fiery gold. The
drunkard SCREAMS and turns pale white, even his hair, and passes out.
>Deis-sama grins to herself, but then pikus when she turns and sees Garr's
rather weird look. "What's wrong with you today? Relax! ^^ You look like you're
going to be sick.."
>Garr straightens up. "H... hai."
>Ryu Bateson piiikus at the odd display Harlequin just generated on the side,
but he's seen a lot stranger. Then he blinks again, finally spotting Deis
lounging around, and sweatbeads again. o O ( It's Deis-sama..what's she doing
here? )
>Keiko oof's as she feels the strike, gritting her teeth. She then gets up.
"Look... What is this all about, anyway?"
>Eden hops down from the branch.
>Deis-sama glances around again, and sees Ryu, yet again. She promptly waves her
cane to get him to come on over.
>Vega chuckles lightly, hand readying itself once again. "Just accepting the
challenge you so thoughtfully provided." he steps forward and towards her
again, apparently not yet stopping. Or not looking like it, anyhow.
>Ryu Bateson quickly darts to her side like a well-trained puppy. o.o So to
speak. "Anou..it's good to see you again..Deis-sama.. n.n;"
>Ryu Bateson looks at her curiously, cocking his head, "Shouldn't you be
sleeping?"
>Keiko grits her teeth, then flips by him and tries to lay a kick at the back of
his head.
>Garr sits beside Deis, sweating nervously. Now he focuses his attention on the
fight, however...
>Vega is struck, dropping to the ground and rolling, coming to a crouch almost
as quickly. "Impressive." he says, suddenly dropping his shoulder and rolling
in towards her, to strike upwards with a fist.
>Deis has disconnected.
>Ryu Bateson sits down on the opposite side of Deis..though a safe distance away
mind you..waiting for her to get over her 'nap'. n.n;
>Keiko gasps as she's hit, a trickle of blood coming down from her mouth. "W-we
need to stop, sir."
>Garr narrows his eyes. "..." A game is one thing...
>Harlequin sits quietly. A soft black-purple aura shimmers around her.
>Ryu_Hoshi stands up, calling his challenge. "ENOUGH, VEGA! I'm the one you want
to fight, and we both know it." He stands beside Keiko, checking her over
carefully. "You okay?"
>Keiko just coughs up a little blood.
>Vega straightens, lifting his hand and crossing it over his chest. "I believe
that's a win for me." he says, thoughtfully. His masked face betrays nothing as
he watches Ryu, carefully glancing at the others as well. Caaaauuutiously.
>Pan-chan points at Vega, and asks no one in particular, "Is he bad man?"
>Ryu_Hoshi helps Keiko to a chair. "Vega.."
>Harlequin floats out to Keiko.
>Ryu Bateson frowns at the sight of this, beginning to stand up himself, "I'm
not sure.."
>Garr tenses up... things are starting to take a turn...
>Harlequin draws near to Keiko....
>Vega keeps his stance, looking at Ryu a while longer, then bows at the waist.
It's as though the audience is cheering, instead of either snarling, or
standing shocked.
>Keiko looks to Harlequin. "W-who are you...?"
>Harlequin reaches out a hand to touch Keiko. "I help. You need help?"
>Ryu_Hoshi steps to where Keiko started from, tightening his vambraces and the
ribbon in his hair. He looks to Vega.
>Garr looks at the second Ryu, then stands up. He doesn't go anywhere, though.
Yet.
>Eden walks up toward the main gathering finally, hesitantly.
>Keiko shakes her head stubbornly.
>Vega looks at Garr for a moment, then back to Ryu. "Am I to take this to mean
you're looking for a match with me?" Gee, he sounds _so_ surprised. Amazed,
really.
>Quietly, Harlequin whispers, "Sure? Red stuff on your mouth."
>Keiko. o O ( I lost a fight... I'm worthless... )
>Keiko asks, "It's called blood, okay?"
>Harlequin is glowing now, bright purple-black.
>Garr speaks up, "You've won sir, now it's time for you to sit down."
>Ryu_Hoshi says, "Yes, I hearby challenge you, Vega."
>Harlequin asks, "I make feel better?"
>Ryu Bateson looks to Garr, then shakes his head, "..I think he's going to
handle it, giant one. We'll be here if something more comes out of it.."
>Vega looks over at Garr, then shakes his head slightly. "A fighter never turns
down an official challenge." He then looks to Ryu, then nods. "Here, then? Or
would you prefer somewhere more traditional?"
>Garr looks down at the dragon Ryu, and nods his head slowly. Though he doesn't
sit... there's still the strange one near Keiko...
>Ryu_Hoshi says, "Here is fine. You know the rules."
>Keiko just sighs. "I l-lost... and they cheer for Vega."
>Ryu Bateson is keeping his eye on that, no doubt..though he shifts position
slightly to lean up against a tree..at rest though still alert.
>Vega chuckles beneath the mask. "Rules?" He stalks towards the bag laying on
the ground. "Of course I do. I all but wrote them, Senrior."
>17 doesn't seem to be in any particular hurry to intervene on anyone's behalf.
He's just watching everything like a good spectator.
>Harlequin floats down near Keiko, and places a hand on Keiko's shoulder.
Immediate Keiko is surrounded by the same aura as Harly.
>Garr walks from where he was standing, towards Keiko... he goes into a run as
Harlequin touches her
>Harlequin sees Garr bounding to her. She's already been sliced by a knife
today, so she grabs Keiko by the hand and flies her up and out of reach.
>Deis has arrived.
>Vega reaches into the bag, returning from it with a three-pronged claw, which
is quickly pulled into place on his hand. The masked man then swivels to face
Ryu, raising the claw and tapping the edge against his mask, sharply.
>Deis-sama resumes..."Hello, Ryu! ^^ It's been quite awhile, hasn't it? Things
going well?"
>Garr skids to a halt, narrowly missing Keiko and Harlequin. He stares up as the
float heavenward... He snarls...
>Harlequin closes her eyes and begins drawing the wounds and negative energy
from Keiko, healing her and restoring confidence and good spirits to Keiko as
they are all that remain now.
>Garr . o O ( ... What is she doing...? )
>Ryu Hoshi bows to Vega, then gracefully slides into his familliar stance.
>Deis-sama o O "Oo...Garr is fighting. I wonder where the cheerleaders are..."
Giggling, she stretches.
>Ryu Bateson is now leaning up against a tree..and watching Garr, Harlequin, and
Keiko. "Things are..as well as can be expected, Deis-sama.." He looks to her,
"There's a dark dragon here.."
>Pan-chan ooos and ahhhs at Ryu...
>Eden stops abruptly, then turns and walks out of the park.
>Deis-sama says, ".....a dark dragon..."
>Garr doesn't respond to Deis and dragon Ryu... he has an immediate concern...
>The audience seems to vanish for Vega, as he studies Ryu. "It's been a long
time, Ryu." His voice sounds oddly echoing from inside the mask, amused, AS he
begins to circle once again. This time, it's a more serious stance. No games.
Harlequin sets Keiko down, smiling.
>Ryu Bateson watches Eden for a moment out of distraction..then looks back to
Deis, "Hai.."
>Eden opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Ryu Hoshi circles opposite Vega, "Not long enough, Shadowlaw ninja."
>Garr narrows his eyes at Harlequin as he reaches protectively for Keiko...
>Keiko is grabbed. O.O
>Deis-sama slithers on over to dragon-Ryu, serious in manner. "That's a problem.
A very big problem. I had thought..well, that's not important now. You're
taking measures against this dragon, I suppose?"
>Vega step-skips to the side, suddenly, swinging his leg out in a sweep-kick
towards Ryu's legs, sharply. "I must agree. I will make this quick."
>Ryu Bateson's amber eyes grow quite dark as he looks back to Deis, closing them
as he nods, "She's a tricky one, and has already acquired many allies...but she
won't be a threat for much longer."
>Harlequin blinks at Garr, somewhat hurt at this.
>Garr asks, "Are... you alright Miss keiko?"
>Keiko says, "She helped me, Garr. I'll be fine."
>Garr blinks at Keiko, removing his hand from her shoulder. "..."
>17 glances skyward for no apparent reason.
>Harlequin shrieks, "I get cut for helping before, now no better!"
>Seventeen 's image dissolves into blurry black lines as he makes his abrupt
departure.
>Seventeen has left.
>Ryu Hoshi falls from the sweep, but rolls back, re-entering a crouched stance.
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "H... Hai."
>Vega doesn't give him time to recover. Or tries not to, anyhow. Again, he
skip-leaps forward, jumping in, a strike aimed for the downed man's chin in a
sharp snap.
>Harlequin growls and begins to change...
>Ryu Bateson sweatdrops, pointing Deis to the changing. n.n;
>Harlequin seems to split up and turn into about a dozen black flat, shiny
spiders (think Lost in Space) which scatter.
>Akio has disconnected.
>Ryu Hoshi has only time for an axe kick as Vega dives onto where he was moments
before, plowing dirt from the ground.
>Garr blinks, takinga step back
>Ryu Bateson says, "I think our giant friend has gotten into a spot of
difficulty, Deis-sama.."
>Harlequin (OOC) can, to those that are strong of mind and intuition, be seen
still floating... but to everyone else, the illusion of the spiders is very,
very real.
>Deis-sama nods, both at the first comment, and at the newer one. "Yes..it would
seem that way, wouldn't it? What do you think we should do?" She grins. n.n
>Ryu Bateson is clueless..so, no need to speak.
>Garr narrows his eyes. "... Miss Keiko, it may be a good idea for you ro take a
seat..."
>Vega rolls away from that side, jerking the claw up. The kick strikes it,
letting a metallic note ring out through the air. A second strike drives him
backwards slightly, though he holds his claw to the same place. Then, suddenly,
he lunges forward, the strike-punch suddenly having the added 'punch' of the
claw behind it.
>The spiders run over to the downed drunk and begin feeding on him?

help.." He smiles afterward, "If he runs into trouble, we can pull him out."
>Ryu Bateson blinks at the spiders. o.o; . o O ( Was it something I ate? )
>The man screams and flails... And the spiders vanish... and he's left whole,
but terrified.
>Ryu Hoshi slides to the side, the claw-assisted punch grazing his side and
drawing a bit of blood.
>Harlequin reappears where she once was, floating above Gar.
>Keiko gets up. "Vega!"
>Deis-sama nods, and sits down in a coiled position, watching. She also seems to
be contemplating something, as her face has a rather set, serious look to it
currently.
>Garr narrows his eyes as he stares down the bizarre one. "What do you want?"
>Ryu Bateson rubs his eyes..then opens them again to see the poor guy whole, and
the spiders gone..he mutters something about not eating oyster and avocado
pizza ever again.
>Vega doesn't react to the yell. Or at least, barely reacts to it. He snaps the
claw straight upright, letting the blood run down along the tines, then moving
towards Ryu again, another claw-jab. This one is swifter. More of a quick
strike.
>Harlequin shrieks, "Just want to eat and live!"
>Ryu Hoshi yells, "Tatsumaki Senpuukyaku!", pulling a 1080 degree spinning kick
towards Vega.
>Harlequin shrieks, "Try to help, everyone hurt me!"
>Garr pauses. "Very unusual 'help'..."
>Harlequin shrieks, "Do not understand you! Was better when making nightmares
for you!"
>Now that's a degree I never heard of before. o_o Is that, like, a
four-dimensional trapezoid? u.u

>Garr . o O ( Strange... but not immediately violent... )
>Ryu Bateson patpats his tummy..giving off a little belch. Then glancing about
him, looking out for Deis to bap him or something for it. n.n;
>Deis-sama yawns, and shakes her cane at Garr..."Hey! You doing okay, Guardian?

>Keiko gets up, gritting her teeth.
>Deis-sama sweatdrops at Ryu, but doesn't smack him.
>Garr does to turn, but answers Deis regardless. "I... am not sure."
>Vega leaps backwards, skipping again and again. Yes, he's getting out of the
way of as much of that kick as he can, though the foot strikes him once or
twice. Finally, his claw snaps up, blocking the last one, getting out of the
way. His mask is still in place, to his relief, and he works on shaking the
kicks off, leaping backwards.
>Harlequin shrieks, "When I first come here, man with knife push me down try lay
on top me. I scare him to death to make him stop. I try help other man and
woman cut me with knife. Now I help kitty girl and you try hurt me too!"
>Keiko exclaims, "Please, everyone! Stop!"
>Garr . o O ( Yes... this is getting out of hand... )
>Ryu Hoshi brings his hands together, a bright crackling ball of energy forming
between them.
>Ryu Bateson looks off at the lake distractedly..then seems mesmorized, as a
fishing pole and a tackle box pop into reality from itemspace. o O ( Fishing.. )
>Pan-chan watches Ryu H closely...
>Keiko then stares at Ryu Hoshi. . o O ( That's a... a... I can't believe it! )
>Ryu Bateson begins to meander off almost in a zombie-like way towards the
lakeside.
>Ryu Bateson says, "(OOC) Reason being, I have to go for a bit, and don't want
the evil janitor to get me. n.n Good day."
>Ryu_Bateson walks to the lakeside.
>Harlequin shrieks, "Now I show you what hurt is! All you!"
>Garr blinks. "..."
>Harlequin darts over the crowd, and as she does, the people below begin to
catch fire.
>Some seem to be looking at the others in confusion... but most are screaming
and panicking.
>Garr blinks, and grits his teeth. He draws forth his spear (from WHERE, you
aren't sure). "Cease this at ONCE."
>Harlequin stops and looks at Garr, and as she does, the flames vanish. The
terrfied citizens below begin to collect themselves, some in shock, some
crying, some staring in disbelief.
>Deis-sama quickly slithers over to Garr, upon watching the shrieking person do
it's thing..."There are some awfully crazy people in this city..."
Harlequin's eyes turn solid flaming orange as she glows white now.
>Garr narrows his eyes, replying quietly to Deis, "I noticed..." Loudly, up to
Harlequin, "Now, if you would be kind enough to take a seat..."
>Garr . o O ( They aren't actually burned... Illusion? )
>Harlequin asks, "You hurt me too now?"
>Vega is more than a little busy at the moment, to notice something like that.
At least, that's how it seems. His foot strikes the ground, as he goes to leap.
"I told you...we should have...taken this somewhere more traditional." he
growls. The leap carries him to a tree, which he rebounds from, suddenly
leaping towards Ryu, a streak of movement and his words tapering into a
war-whoop cry.
>Deis-sama c.c; "What is this girl, some kind of masochist?"
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "... Not if you remain calm, and leave people
alone."
>Garr doesn't respond to Deis. (He's gonna hear about THAT later... )
>Harlequin shrieks, "I no want be in this place! Hide here from Nightmare Lord,
so he not eat me!"
>Garr opens his eyes. "...?"
>Deis-sama says, "I thought they had places for people like her..oh well. As
long as she isn't really killing people.."
>Harlequin shrieks, "This not my plane! I from dreams!"
>Harlequin winces. "Ugh, too full..."
>Harlequin begins to sink lower now, near the stage, holding her midsection.
>Garr stands still... the violence (at least THIS violence) seems to be over.
>Deis-sama slither...er...stands...whatever...there, and looks around.
>Keiko flips over in front of Ryu defiantly.
>Harlequin lies on the ground near the stage and curls up tightly, clutching her
stomach. She shakes violently.
>Vega snaps his claw out, then to the side, in a vicious raking blow. Too bad
it's the wrong person in the way. Instead of striking Ryu, the claw finds
purchase in Keiko.
>Deis-sama shakes her head at Harl, sadly...
>Ryu Hoshi throws his hands up towards Vega, "HADOUKEN!"-- launching the ball of
ki to slam into Vega's body. It's too late to help Keiko, unfortunately. He
kneels beside her. "Why?!"
>Garr clutches his spear. "Miss Keiko - !"
>Ryu Hoshi rips cloth off of his gi, carefully bandaging her bloody wounds in
silence.
>Harlequin makes it to her knees, shivering, holding her stomach, opening her
mouth in an empty scream. The surrounding misery is too great even for her to
absorb.
>Vega isn't struck fatally, but the ki-ball definately throws him for a loop. He
is struck, skidding a divot across the ground before he rolls again to his
feet, shaking it off swiftly. Not enough to truly stun him, but he's definately
dazed for a moment.
>Garr strides forward. This is no longer a personal fight...
>Keiko grits her teeth as she falls to the ground. She then looks up at Ryu.
"You let you guard down... while preparinmg the attack....!"
>Deis-sama turns, and watches the fighting, keeping an eye on them all. Her face
still looks very serious in mood, but she doesn't move.
>Ryu Hoshi shakes his head. "You shouldn't have..." He leaves it unfinished as
he gently picks her up. "Where's a clinic or hospital around here? Are there
any medics here?"
>Garr steps up behind the stunned Vega, speaking in his booming tone. "The fight
is over."
>Pan-chan leaps onto the stage in a single flip, landing between Keiko and Vega.
>Pan-chan says, "Yes, bad man go away."
>Harlequin lashes out violently with a halo of white energy that passes
harmlessly through everyone else.
>Vega looks at Garr, then at Pan, then at Keiko. He raises his claw, the blood
running down it and over his hand, then points towards Ryu. "We're going to
finish this!" he barks at the man, slowly standing. "Where the dirt turns red,
Ryu." He slips around Garr, grabbing up the duffel bag and heading for the gate
in a streak of movement.
>Harlequin floats shakily to Keiko, wincing still.
>Deis-sama slithers over, reaching into her tunic, and pulling out a small vial
containing a clear, light-blue liquid. She guesses that Keiko is the one that
needs the healing, so goes over to her.
>Ryu Hoshi looks to where Vega is leaving, and quietly declares, "Yes.. we
shall."
>Garr doesn't stop Vega... his only concern is halting the violence.
>Harlequin rasps weakly, "I... help... her..."
>Pan-chan flies up a short distance, looking around for the bad man with the claw
>Vega opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Deis-sama blinks, looking back and forth from one injured girl to another...
>Harlequin reaches out to Keiko. "I help.. her... no hurt me... please..."
>Garr doesn't respond, but he doesn't stop Harle either.
>Pan-chan flies off after Vega
>Pan opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Harlequin floats over and lays a hand on Keiko. The wounds begin to slowly
reseal themselves, but only part way... Harlequin can't absorb the full pain of
them.
>Deis-sama considers fireballing someone, just so that she can administer this
potion she's holding, and not have to stuff it back down her dress again. u.u;
Quietly, Harlequin whispers, "All I can do... too... full... hurting...."
>Ryu Hoshi looks down to Keiko. "You're going to have to have these bandaged up,
and get some rest. This should have never happened."
>Harlequin smiles weakly at Keiko. "Do what nice man say, kitty girl."
>Keiko would protest, yet she really has no choice.
>Garr kneels. "I apologize for the ruin of your show, ma'am." He looks up, to
Ryu. "Who was that arrogant man?"
>Harlequin back away from the group. She's gonna pop if she doesn't do
something....
>Deis-sama taps her tail on the ground...
>Ryu Hoshi says, "Vega La Selda. Spanish aristocrat, and World Warrior. Noted
for having a bloodlust."
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "Duly noted."
>Ryu Hoshi shakes his head slowly. "I'm sorry about your show, Keiko-san."
>Harlequin looks around. She grabs hold of a park bench. It changes into a metal
and wood snake, this time, completely and totaly real.
>Keiko just goes limp.
>Garr tenses up. "..."
>Ryu Hoshi begins ripping cloth off of his gi to bandage up her wounds. "Where's
the manager?"
>Harlequin gasps, panting heavily, holding onto the snake. That used up all her
excess energy.
>Ryu Hoshi says, "We need to get her somewhere where she can rest."
>Garr nods to Ryu...
>The manager, strangely, is nowhere to be found.
>Harlequin floats slowly over to her blood-stained backpack, holding the small,
writhing metal snake.
>Ryu Hoshi sighs, "Do you know if she has a home around here? And what's your
name? I'm Ryu."
>Deis-sama motions to Ryu, with the small vial in her hand. "Try this. It's a
healing potion, it might help relieve the pain and close up some of the wounds."
>Harlequin stuffs the snake into her backpack and closes the flap. She sighs,
looking at the group.
>Ryu Hoshi reaches up towards Deis-sama. "If it'll help.."
>Garr stands silently. This has been a long and unusual evening.
>Deis-sama sets the potion down into his hand, and nods.
>Harlequin sets the bag down and curls up next to it on the grass.
>Ryu Hoshi applies the potion as directed, then frowns. "If nobody knows where
she lives, I'll have to get her to a hotel room. We can't leave her out here."
>Harlequin, having no where else to go, simply makes her temporary home in the
grass.
>Keiko has disconnected.
>Harlequin falls asleep in the grass, another lost and penniless waif that
drifts through the city unknown...
>Ryu Hoshi carries Keiko to his temporary home for the time being, having no
other ideas.
>Harlequin has disconnected.
>Ryu Hoshi stops to look to Garr. "Again, I apologize for letting this get out
of hand.."
>Garr stands, spear between his hands, waiting for Deis' instructions. "..."
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "Hai... it was most unfortunate."
>Ryu Hoshi says, "..I should have stopped Vega before all of this started. I'd
warned her, but.. I'm sincerely sorry."
>Deis-sama is currently polishing the orb on the end of her cane; and doesn't
look like she's about to give orders of any sort. o.o
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "It is too late to change things now."
>Ryu Hoshi sighs, then begins carrying Keiko off as he'd mentioned.
>Ryu_Hoshi opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Deis-sama says, "Well, that was certainly enough excitement for one night."
>Garr says, in a deep voice, "... ... ... ... ... Hai."
>Garr asks, without turning to face Deis, "Why are you here, Mistress?"
>Deis-sama says, "Oh, well...I figured it was time for me to wake up for awhile.
Sleeping for centuries and all leaves one somewhat behind the times...I figured
that I'd see the sights, and live a little. n.n"
>Garr narrows his eyes. "... You picked a most unfortunate time and place to
awaken, if I may venture to comment."
>Deis-sama shrugs. "I'm used to it. Every time that I wake, something happens.
It's life, ne? At any rate, I'm going to enjoy what I can here, and I suggest
that you do the same."
>Garr closes his eyes. "Beware of the dragon known as Esmerelda... the elder Ryu
mentioned him earlier... She is far more dangerous and crafty then most of her
breed."
>Pan arrives from Fenris Drive.
>Pan has arrived.
>Pan-chan waves
>Deis-sama nods. "I'm confident in both the Ryu's abilities. If things are
handled properly, it'll all come out alright..but that doesn't mean disaster
will happen, or that it can be avoided."
>Deis-sama turns, and smiles to Pan. n.n
>Pan-chan says, "Bad man get away. Ryu not want me to fight him."
>Garr hears Pan, and replies, "Hai." Turning to look at Deis, he simply says, "I
do not look forward to this."
>Deis-sama says, "It's probably a good idea that you don't fight him, dear. n.n;"
>Pan-chan says, "But I was winning. *pout*"
>Deis-sama nods to Garr. "I don't either. But seeing as this isn't new to me, I
deal with it a little better."
>Deis-sama says, "You'll be fine, if you handle things correctly. I hope."
>Pan-chan bye-waves
>Deis-sama looks to Pan..."Listen to the nice Ryu man, dear. n.n; He knows what
he's talking about."
>Garr responds, "... Hai. I hope God's plan includes this world..." He turns to
walk away.
>Deis-sama wavers.
>Pan opens the gates, and exits Fenris park.
>Pan has left.
>Deis-sama grins...."There are more Gods than you can count on five hands, here,
Garr. You'll come to realize that, eventually. It doesn't all rest on the
shoulders of just one."
>Garr calls back as he exits, "The God who gave me life must instruct me... this
is my purpose, and you know that."
