Wow, you haven't seen this much junk in one place since the last demolition
derby you went to. Quite impressive, actually... large sheets of metal lying
hither and yon, gears piled higher then the average person, dozens of coils of
wire... quite astounding. As you work your way through the room, you also
notice useful things, like various tools, books, scattered notes, and completed
or near-completed devices.
As you scan further, you realize there's even things like furniture in here!
Waist-high shelves line two walls, and tall cabinets line another. You almost
missed the shelves, as there is hardly a square inch of bare space on them;
they are completely covered in small devices and scattered notes.

Main Room
This is a sizable and comfy room of a relatively small cafe on the corner of
Thor East and Tyr. Tables are lined about neatly in an L coordination about a
likely L-shaped counter, where foot stools are placed for extra seating.
Behind the counter, a large cutout in the wall allows communication between the
registreers and the cooks, and the waitress or waiter on duty moves back and
forth from this room to the kitchen through a wooden door placed to the side of
it. Set into the northeastern corner, are two public payphones, the restrooms,
and some stairs, apparently leading up to an apartment above. There is little
to know decoration of the mostly wood-furnished structure, and what there is
seems to be following a 50s theme. With a few nostalgic objects of yore, most
notably a jukebox. (Use 'menu' and 'order' to order things.)

Intersection: Thor/Tyr
This intersection is relatively nice, if not for the lingering darkness to the
west on Thor Street. Luckily, all the streetlamps here are replaced
regularly..any graffiti is cleaned up almost immediately..and a neighbourhood
police patrol keeps an eye out for any shifty and suspicious types wandering
about. To the east, Thor Boulevard is a much more lively and light
place..housing many people in small housing complexes, and a few larger,
upper-middle class homes. To the South, Tyr Road continues in that direction,
with a mixture of hotels and apartment buildings. To the north, it seems to
disperse at an obscure point..though a few eateries catering to myriad tastes
can be seen.

A tan girl with green eyes, pink curly hair, and ...white and black neko ears,
and a tail? o.o; Hmm. She also wears some exotic striped clothing, matching her
ears and tail.

Tyr Road [200](#228RL)
The 200 block of Tyr Road is almost exclusively fancy hotels and high-rise
apartment buildings. Available in a wide range of designs, from the mundane
box-shape, to more architecturally enthralling towers such as 'The Obelisk'.
Housing this close to the middle of everything isn't cheap, but it isn't as
expensive as owning your own home farther out to the east, either. The area is
also clean..and a few commercial buildings are scattered about..though they're
rather limited.

City Square
Welcome to the middle of the sleepy (yeah, right), humble mountain city of
Midgaard. The peaks that surround the somewhat smallish sprawl of
constructions about you appear a vibrant, cool purple at this distance..capped
with off-white snow at the tops. Although the town itself recieves little
precipitation from being sheltered by this atol of sheer rock, a cold wind does
comb and filter its way through..providing a brisk, though arid, atmosphere.
On the southwestern pointing end of town, a small, manmade pass in the
mountain valley allows for easy access from the bustling world outside. To
your north and west are the commercial districts..manufacturing, shipping, and
selling various consumable goods. In the east, to the 'horizon', appear to be
homes of various architectural influences..the more wealthy of said houses
bordering a small alpine lake and park. To the south, the middle-class homes
continue, thinning out just before the open gap to the highway beyond.
As for where you stand..it is the Midgaard City Square..Several government
offices and the larger buildings can be found on the sides of the slightly
misnomered elliptical, cobblestoned intersection. No actual automobile traffic
passes here, being routed through the side streets..this is a strictly
pedestrian and bicycle zone. A large, granite fountain with a statue of Odin
atop it towers nearly two stories prominantly in the center. There are also
benches about for taking a quiet repose from the hustle of daily life.

might help his nervousness.."
Luna smiles to Momo. n.n "Hello!"
Katsuo is curled up in a ball beside Luna and Soreth, his wrist held by the
former.
Soreth hisses, "Greetingsss..."
:walks over, looking down at Katsuo. "Is something the matter?
Momo walks over, looking down at Katsuo. "Is something the matter?"
Soreth hisses, "He isss in ssshock."
Soreth hisses, "It could not hurt, Luna... You may asss well try."
:blinks. "Oh my!
Momo blinks. "Oh my!"
Luna looks up into the sunny sky (or starry sky, whichever), smiles, takes a
deep breath...and begins singing. o.o It's a soft, crystally melody, comforting
and beautiful, somehow filling the whole area with a magical, peaceful feeling.
There aren't any words to this song, either, but that doesn't matter: it's
beauty would only be marred by the prescence of words. She looks happy,
singing, and is obviously doing so with all her heart. Once again, every note
is pitched to perfection, and the tranquility and joy in her voice, as well as
her skill at singing, is unmatched..
Soreth closes his eyes.

Soreth sighs deeply as visions of his lost love come to his eyes.
Katsuo just tenses up further as his fear-induced state can tell that it's a
female's voice creating the beautiful music. *quiver**twitch**whimper* x.x The
shadows beneath him begin to give off a faint, shadow mist, forming a tight
circle about his curled up form.
Luna (OOC) wonders how long it's going to be before someone comes along
claiming, "NO! I'M THE BEST SINGER!", as this is something relatively
new...instead of being the most powerful, it's the best singing. o.o;

Soreth snaps a ward on Luna quickly, uncertain of what might happen... he

than her early teens.. slender, flat chested, and no taller than five and an
inch or two. She's dressed in a pair of cream white shorts that shows off
most of her legs, and a green vest worn loose over a tunic the same color as
her pants. All would be fine.. if wasn't for that look in her eyes.
Underneath bright red hair layed out over her pale face like Sonic the Crab,
large green eyes gaze up at you almost gleefully.. something twisted behind
them, as if she's looking for a new project.

Oh my! You are truly in the presence of genius - she says so herself! A healthy
girl, perhaps midway into her twenties, Momo stands around 5'10", and of trim,
if not completely in shape, build. As you focus closer you see her pale skin
and red eyes, seemingly cute, rather than ominous. Her knee-length strawberry
blond hair is tied into two braids which cascade down her back; her long,
rabbit-like ears stick out of some passing locks. She isn't exactly beautiful,
though she straddles the 'cute' line, with the spectacles perched on her nose
completing the image.
The clothing she wears is rather simple in design, if bright in color. The main
piece is an ornate scholar's robe of a cyan hue loosely draped over her form,
concealing any curves her body might possess. It's hems are trimmed with white
decorations, and the shawl around her neck is tied with a red ribbon. Pink
bloomers and some simple leather boots complete her lower dress, while a cyan
mortarboard is perched delicately on her head.

Tyr Road [100]
While still home to hotels and apartment buildings like its cousin to the north
of the city square, the 100 block is less developed, allowing for a few more
structures of commercial nature to have been installed. Among them are the
inevitable fast food chains you would find near the off-ramp during any of your
highway travels. Speaking of which..to your south..the road divides and loops
about through the gap in the mountains to the highway below..the stepped
cut-through here is quite a marvel of human feat and engineering.

Tyr-to-Sif Alleyway
A quick (sometimes), sneaky, and somewhat risky method of escaping foes,
avoiding monstrous crushing spheres rolling down the street, ducking speeding
cars, and various other common movie gags. The alleyway is also home, you
find, to little rodent friends with glowing, beady eyes..and, much to your
shock and amazement, you also find that these furred companions have sharp
teeth with which to bite into your leg. Maybe it'd be a good idea to get out
of here as soon as you can.

Sif Way [100]
Sif Way is the hovel of those 'fad' businesses, as well as more high-tech ones.
You can also find low-cost housing here..if you can put up with the noise of
having people drive in and out of the stores and shops next door constantly.
To be found along either side of the road are a garish mixture of weight loss
registries, lawyer's offices, video game arcades, video rental stores, beer and
liquor stores (Licensed ones..for bootlegging, you'd have to go to West Thor
Boulevard), computer and electronic shops, comic book stores. All that, and
much much more. Some of the shops also have an extra floor upstairs, with an
apartment or two for rent at a low cost as an extra way to make some money in
the off seasons.

live here would be the life. Bare in mind, however, that all this doesn't come
cheap. To actually -live- here would quickly drain the average citizen of
their life's savings..that's why this is only for travellers in for a short
stay, and who don't want to stay in some flimzy motel.. (And who can afford the
accomidations). The clerk at the front desk looks at you impatiently, as
though this place is busy.

Wow, you haven't seen this much junk in one place since the last demolition
derby you went to. Quite impressive, actually... large sheets of metal lying
hither and yon, gears piled higher then the average person, dozens of coils of
wire... quite astounding. As you work your way through the room, you also
notice useful things, like various tools, books, scattered notes, and completed
or near-completed devices.
As you scan further, you realize there's even things like furniture in here!
Waist-high shelves line two walls, and tall cabinets line another. You almost
missed the shelves, as there is hardly a square inch of bare space on them;
they are completely covered in small devices and scattered notes.
