Snow Mountain Lodge
This is the Snow Mountain Lodge, the one place where to stay while enjoying the
winter pleasures of the mountain. This rustic building's walls are made of dark
wood planks with the odd red brick pillar mixed in. The lobby is two stories
high, warm and comfortable with a central fireplace surrounded by benches for
socializing. The proprietress, an elderly little lady, smiles as she walks around
the benches and offers cups of hot chocolate. The south wing houses the guest
chambers, another door indicates the access to the hot springs, or you can go to
the solarium to enjoy the weather without its rigors.

>Bell-chan walks over, "Hai, Ukyou-san?"
>Rei yawns, still half-asleep. All these people talking are waking him up,
though.
>Ucchan o.o at Bell, "I've been meaning to ask ya 'bout Yuki-chan... x.x; I mean
Celes."
>Bell-chan says, "Alright.."
>Locke o.o at the mention of Celes. "............."
>Ucchan n.n at Bell, "I've heard from Celes and you and Burn found out stuff
'bout her armor... And then found a weird sword, that's true?" O.o

>Bell-chan says, "I did not know the sword was found already.."
>Rin enters from outside, accompanied by some cold air.
>Rin hurries into the lodge, shivering. o.o
>Ucchan nods. o.o "Well yeah, Celes told me Burn was quite shocked too... I meant
to ask if he found out anythin' about that damn sword."
>Ucchan frowns, "Where is that Burn creep now anyhow?"
>Rei was lying in front of the fireplace. He sits up now, though, but hasn't
noticed Rin's arrival yet.
>Rin's arrival is generally not easy to miss, she hops up and down to get warm,
"Waaaah! It's freezing out there!"
>Bell-chan says, "Celes or Terra should've been the only ones that could obtain
the sword."
>Locke says, "Hell if I know.... he was here talking to Celes a little while
ago...."
>Ucchan pikus. o.o "It wasn't obtained, last I heard... Who the heck's Terra?"
>Bell-chan asks, "Sou ka.. What is your question?"
>Ucchan blinks at Bell, "I got dozens!" o.o "I'm not sure I want to _know_ how
Burn spoke to an armor, that guy gives me the creeps. -_-; But I need to know
if he got anything from the sword, and what... And who's Terra?"
>Locke says, "Terra? What about her? o.-"
>Ucchan pikus at Locke, "Hm? Oh, I'm just tryin' to find out stuff to help out
Yuki-chan. o.o y'know about the sword, armor and stuff, right?"
>Rin is watching everyone and trying to figure out what the heck is going on.
She's still bouncing up and down trying to get warm.
>Bell-chan says, "Celes will have to obtain the sword.. Then she will begin to
get better."
>Rei rubs the back of his neck. Still doesn't understand this whole sword 'n
armor thingy.
>Ucchan blinkblinks. o.o "Obtain it?!? How're we supposed to obtain the bloody
thing? Burn couldn't pull it off!"
>Bell-chan says, "Burn will not be able to.. Only Celes or Terra."
>Locke says, "Well, if the sword has something to do with the armor.... maybe the
armor is some kind of key? It might be that only the armor will get the sword
free....."
>Rin blinks and decides for the non-subtle approach, she walks over and asks,
"What are you talking about?"
>Rei sits up. He's glad Rin asked, at least.
>Ucchan pikus, "Oh... Hiya Rin..." n.n; "It's a weird story. A friend of hours
got this..." o.o; "Oh heck, why do I even start, you wouldn't believe me. Heck,
_I_ don't believe me."
>Bell-chan says, "The sword is the key to the armor."
>Rin exclaims, "I would believe it!"
>Ucchan n.n;;;; "What she says..." and sips hot chocolate, that's safe. o.o;
>Rin whispers, "(OOC) Are you still having my name all over you?" to you.
>Rei rubs the back of his neck. He'd go after the sword himself, but from the
sound of things, it wouldn't work.
>You whisper, "Rei doesn't anymore, but it isn't immediately obvious n.n" to
Rin.
>Ucchan leans closer to Rin, and talks softly. o.o;
>Ukyou mumbles, "Well .. ... ..... .. .. .... ...... of hours .....
take ... ...... ..... ... .." to Rin.
>Locke frowns. "Burn had better leave it alone.... no one needs to get that sword
but Celes. It might be the only chance for her to get her memories back...."
>Rei tries to listen in. And fails. But he still tries. 'o.='
>Rin giggles as Ukyou whispers to her.
>Ucchan o_o; at Rin, "What's so funny?!"
>Rin tries to appear serious again. "Nothing..."
>Bell-chan says, "That is exactly why she needs the sword.."
>Rin gets weird images of someone in full plate armor trying to sleep on a bed,
standing in a shower, and trying to eat but not being able to get food past the
visor...
>Locke asks, "Why hasn't she tried to take it, yet? How long have you people
known where it is?"
>Bell-chan says, "I never really knew exactly where the sword was.. Just the
general area."
>Rin wanders over nearer the fire and tries to hide the fact that she's looking
Rei over. o.o
>Rei looks Rin over as she poorly hides the fact she's looking him over. "...
What?"
>Rin blinks then turns away, "Nothing..."
>Rin . o O ( He still has that jacket, I can't see his body... x.x )
>Rei taps his chin in thought. "Hey... um, Rin?"
>Rin blinks, "Hai..?"
>Locke asks, "Then you now know where it is, exactly?"
>Rei says, with a smile and a sweatdrop, "Thanks for the Christmas gift..." Of
course, if you didn't get him one, he'll look mighty stupid. And if you did, he
still looks stupid, having forgotten to get -you- one.
>Rin says, "Iie iie, don't mention it..."
>Rin . o O ( I forget what I got him... )
>Rei sweatdrops. "Eheh... already did."
>Rin says, "I hope you liked it..."
>Rei nods. "Comes in handy..." He holds up a shiny new swiss army knife. A bit
smaller than his daggers, but his daggers don't have built in tweezers and
screwdrivers. His lockpicking will be so much easier now...!
>Ucchan peeks at the two... and n.n . o O ( Yesss, she's playing along )
>Burn enters from outside, accompanied by some cold air.
>Burn takes a deep breath..he looks around...
>...and gets spotted, "BURN!" that would be Ukyou.
>Rin smiles and nods. "And don't worry, I will keep my New Years Resolution
too... Rei."
>Ucchan is sitting aside Bell, she wavewaves Burn over, o.o "Come over here!"
>Rei smiles, genuinely. "Thanks! I've even kept mine..." Sorta.
>Bell-chan says, "Yes, Burn-san.. Please join us.. I wish to ask you a
question.."
>Burn rubs his temples a bit... . o O ( What is it now...? )
>Rin nods, "You should keep yours! Otherwise you'll get in a lot of trouble!"
>Burn seems like he's been in a fight or something...nor bruised or anything...it
just seems as if had...however he walks over to Belldandy...
>Rei sweatdrops. "Yeah, yeah, I know...!"
>Burn asks, "What is it?"
>Locke keeps a close eye on Burn as he enters. =.=
>Rin eyes Rei again, still trying to see past his jacket. x.x

>Ucchan starts talking maybe a little fast, asking of Burn, "Well, it's about
Yuki-chan, and I'm wondering what's the matter with that sword, and is it true
that just Celes and Terra can pull it off? And did you talk to the sword? Did
it say anything?"
>Rin noticed. n.n;
>Rin whispers to Rei.
>Rin whispers, "Who is Yukihan?" to you.
>Rei blinks, and whispers something back to Rin.
>You whisper, "Apparently some girl named Celes... it's a alias, I think. She has
amnesia or something." to Rin.
>Burn says, "No...I was thinking Locke maybe could.. maybe Terra..., no, no."
>Burn looks at Ukyou and glances at Belldandy, "Is that all...?"
>Locke says, ".....what the hell are you talking about now, man? o.o"
>Rin nods to Rei and glances over in the direction of the crowd around Burn...
>Burn says to Locke, "We found the sword that should get the armor off of Celes."
>Burn says, "None of us could pull it out though."
>Locke asks, "Did you try asking Celes to do it?"
>Burn says, "She couldn't get close enough."
>Ucchan O.o "How's that? Why? And why didn't ya try to talk to the sword same
you did with the armor?" . o O ( Damn that sounded weird )
>Rin says, "Talk to the sword? o.o"
>Rei sweatdrops. I'm not paying attention to this bizarre conversation, really...

>Burn shakes his head as he starts heading for the door, "...I'm leaving..."
>Locke exclaims, "Hey! Get back here! Tell us what happened!!!"
>Burn sighs a bit, "Ask Bell...I don't need this crap right now..."
>Rei blinks. What's up with him...? Rei glances at Rin, then Ukyou.
>Locke exclaims, "Celes doesn't need the crap she lives through every day! If you
know something that can help her, you're gonna tell us!"
>Ucchan shrugs and shakes her head in response to Rei. o.o;
>Rin looks clueless, but keeps her eyes on Burn, figuring he's got to have
something to do with everything.
>Burn walks up to Locke then looks at him right in the eyes still angry about
something from before, "I freakin' tried all I could to help Celes! I even tried
to pull out the freakin' sword even with 10,000 volts going through me! All I
freakin' know is I can't do anymore to help her so instead of just staying here
why don't you just go to that cave yourself and try to pull the sword out cause
it obviously seemed like I couldn't!"
>Rei arches an eyebrow. "..."
>Burn closes his eyes gritting his teeth somewhat as he turns to leave again...
>Ucchan o.o; . o O ( Where is that sword anyway? Seems Bell-chan doesn't know,
and Yuki's no help )
>Rei rubs the back of his neck. "... I can try. I guess. Dunno why it's so
important, but..."
>Burn says, "....the cave's at the base of the mountain in the village..."
>Burn says, "...you gotta pray to get in..."
>Locke stands up slowly; rather ticked off. "Yeah... maybe I will....."

>Rei rubs the back of his neck. Pray? To who? Myria? Ladon?
>Rin asks, "You mean the dragon cave?"
>Burn shrugs and opens the door to leave...
>Rei hmms. Dragon cave? Definately Ladon, then.
>Burn exits the lodge, closing the door to keep the warmth in.

>Rei rubs the back of his neck. "Like I said... I'd try it. Kinda wanna know why
first, but..." Rei figures that his weretiger form would be able to get through
anything. Maybe, maybe not.
>Rin looks back and forth between the remaining people...
>Ucchan c.c "Say what you wanna, that Burn guy creeps me out."
>Rei nods 'o.o';
>Rin says, "He's a d... mean person."
>Ucchan says, "Mean's right..." and keeps to herself the 'not so sure he's a
person'
>Ucchan says, "Oh well, I'm gonna turn in, and maybe I'll see Yuki-chan tomorrow,
she's such an early bird, I miss her all the times. o.o;"
>Rei just gets peery at anyone who can read thoughts. "... Don't that just beat
all. And my offer's still open, if someone knows the way."
>Rin (OOC) asks, "Does anyone know what is the real story with why the sword is
not able to be pulled out? Who is inventing the story?"
>Locke nods. "I'll tell her you're looking for her, if I'm back. I'm gonna go
take a look at that sword."
>Ucchan (OOC) It's Celes' TP... n.n and g'night minna.
>Ukyou has left.
>Ojiisan falls asleep.
>Rei leans back, scooting a little close to the fireplace. He takes his jacket
iff now, at least.
>Bell-chan blinks, o O ( He wouldn't! )

>Rei would! ... Wait, you -were- talking about swiping Burn's wallet, right?

>Rei rubs the back of his neck. To follow, or not to follow...? Well, Rei's
curiosity overcomes him. He sighs, and slips his jacket back on, before walking
over to the door and departing.

Probably the first thing you notice about this young man is that he's a
tiger. Well, not exactly... though the resemblance is certainly close. The
striped pelt and tail are certainly the most telling feature, but there's also
the way he carries himself... if you watch closely, you see that every movement
is economical and deliberate. If you don't mind your men furry, he's actually
rather attractive; tall, lean, graceful, and with fine features. His unkempt mane
of yellow-ish hair (the same shade as his pelt) is tied into a pony-tail at the
base of his neck, while his large bangs are kept out of his face by a broad white
bandana.
Rei's currently dressed in his usual outfit. The main piece is a red
vest, the edges lined with gold-colored trim. It's left open in the front, not to
show Rei's figure off as much as to give him good freedom of movement. Metal
plates have been affixed to the shoulders of the vest; combined with the large
metallic armbands he wears on his forearms, this provides a modicum of armor
protection. His crimson slacks are held up at the waist by a broad leather belt,
with a good-sized sheath on either side. On his feet he wears custom boots, the
toes removed to show his large clawed toes.
Because this alone isn't suitable dress in the cold weather, Rei's taken
it upon himself to wear a large beige trenchcoat. It's probably very effective in
keeping the cold away, but whether Rei actually paid for it or not is up to
debate.

Snow mountain: Outside the lodge
You are in one of the resort's most active areas: A stubby concrete building
houses the terminal for the gondolas, and just a hundred meters or so farther,
you see an inviting two-story wood building: The Lodge. Both buildings have been
built in a clearing, so aside from the path to the ski slopes, the trees surround
you from a distance without hiding the magnificient view of neighboring
mountains. Just off the beaten snow paths, children have built a few snow forts
and enjoy some other winter activities different than skiing. Near the terminal,
a large panel explains the paths if you prefer snowshoes or cross-country skiing.
Though the weather's cloudy, the snow seems hesitant, sometimes falling in timid
flurries and sometimes not.

Hiking paths: Cliffside
You are following the cross-country paths of the resort, their gentle slopes
slowly climb the mountain. The trees clear as you reach a more rocky area of the
mountain. You might spot a cavern opening just twenty meters away from the path,
and a cliff here seems like a good spot for echo, why don't you 'shout
something'? Higher above, you can make out a path that climbs to the summit, but
it's too steep for skiing, you'd need snowshoes.
(OOC note: The hiking paths are kilometers long, in winter that's not just a
stroll)
Though the weather's cloudy, the snow seems hesitant, sometimes falling in timid
flurries and sometimes not.

expert at this type of stuff. He follows them for a good while, eventually coming
across a shrine. After scratching the side of his head a moment, he turns to you
and asks, "Now what? The tracks end here..."
>Rin says, "At this shrine? They said we had to pray..."
>Rei rubs his chin, and shrugs. He kneels down, and starts a prayer to Ladon...

Cavern behind the Run-down Shrine
Light flickers off of the moist walls of the cave. It's fairly dark in here, but
it is light enough to see the shimmering stone in the back of the shallow cavern.
The way the light bounces off the metal in these walls from the small hole in the
cavern ceiling, makes the strange stone in the middle of the chamber seem to flow
like water. Upon further inspection, one would be sure that it is just an odd
effect, and just a normal stone. Inside the stone, however, is a longsword.

>Rei blinks as he gets pushed. "Eh? I wouldn't try it! Not like this..."

>Rin asks, "Why not?"
>Bell-chan says, "The only ones that can touch th sword are Celes and Terra.."
>Rei looks over at the blade. "I wonder why?"
>Rin asks, "Yeah, why the two of them?"
>Bell-chan says, "It was made for Celes.."
>Bell-chan says, "But there is comething about Terra that allows her to hold it
at well."
>Rei hmms. "Don't that just beat all." He glances over at Burn. What's he up to?
>Rin says, "How did anyone find it in here? o.o"
>Bell-chan says, "Resting for now," not knowing what else to say..
>Bell-chan then answers Rin, "It wasn't easy."
>Rin . o O ( That's not an answer... )
>Rei hmms, still rubbing the back of his neck. This hasn't answered much.
"Well... you two stay out of trouble. I'll head back..."
>Rin approaches the sword, looking it over.
>Bell-chan looks at Burn..
>Rin reaches out one finger to touch the sword, but the intense shock as she
touches it quickly discourages her from trying any more than that, "Itaaaiiii!"
>Bell-chan asks, "Oh! Are you alright?"
>Burn doesn't say anything just watching the sword...
>Rin looks a bit jumbled up, but nods. "Stupid sword!"
>Rei blinks. "Ack!"

>Bell-chan says, "You're not useless, Burn-san.."
>Rei heads back to the Lodge. He'd stay a bit longer, but his connection is
