Nekohanten
A medium sized dining area, with the usual tables and chairs, as well as booths
in three of the corners. The walls are covered in artwork, mostly nature scenes,
but a few of battles between female warriors and demonized male opponents. The
women, of course, are winning. The innermost wall has a counter, over which it
is possible to see into the kitchen, with five stools lined up in front of it.
In the kitchen, you can see pots on burners, ovens, bowls and glasses, as well
as a rather well-stocked bar. A menu hangs next to the counter, and paper copies
are on all the tables. If you want anything, just ask Shampoo, the beautiful
Waitress/Hostess/Cook/Delivery Girl, or Mousse, the nearsighted Waiter/Busboy/
Janitor/Cook/Delivery Boy/Peon.

>Burn asks Lina, "Anything to drink?"
>Red XIII waves his tail silently. "Perhaps it would be easier," he growls, "If
I simply left. You would not want to spend the entire night covering the
child's eyes." He pauses, "Invisible demon?"
>Burn says to Gourry, "Ever get heartburn?"
>Tenchi says, "There was one... this guy named Ushio said he let it free by
accident."
>Tenchi says, "If I don't hold her so she looks directly at you it should be
okay."
>Rei blinks again o.o . o O ( Go fig. )
>Gourry pats a tummy then looks seriously at Lina.
>Rin asks, "Do any of you know anything about a person or thing called Jiayu?"
>Gourry exclaims, "Now we talk!"

>Rei questions, "Jiayu? Never heard of it."
>Red XIII shakes his head at Tenchi, "That is quite all right. And completely
unnecessary." He looks towards Rin, shaking his head again.
>Lina looks at you, her fifth bowl still raised towards her mouth. "I'm still
eating, Gourry."
>Gourry steals a bowl of Lina's Ramen and starts eating it, to helpher along.
>Tenchi watches Gourry and Lina eat. His head starts to spin...
>Rei looks at the menu. But he doesn't order.
>Lina *GLARES* at Gourry ... and, incredibly, eats faster!

>Lina's chopsticks practically pin Gourry's hand to the table.

>Gourry exclaims, "Eat faster!"
>Burn says, "Maybe I'll speak to you another time then Lina..."
>Lina says, "Gourry, if you want more ramen, *order* it."

>Lina continues chopstick-fencing with Gourry. "So stop fighting to steal it,
and LET! ME! EAT!!!"

>Tenchi asks, "Uh, who's working here?"
>Red XIII just stares at Gourry and Lina, with a slight sweatdrop.
>Gourry exclaims, "Let me help you eat it!"
>"Lina slurps down the rest of that bowl at a gulp ... and stops, bowl still
raised, her eyes bulging a bit.

>A waitress walks over to Tenchi, "Can I help you sir?
>Burn stands from his seat and put his jacket back on...

>Red XIII blinks and pads away from the door to let Burn out.
>Lina lets the bowl down with a *wham!!* and thumps her chest, hard, several
times ... finally starting to breath again with a slight coughing sound. "Gah
... "
>Rin asks, "Are you okay, Rinahan?"
>Gourry says, "Baaaaka."
>Rei says, "Don't that just beat all."
>No, that's Lina's chest she was beating... a far cry from 'all'.
>Burn looks at Lina, "Done?"
>Tenchi says, "I'll have one of whatever kind of ramen Lina and Gourry are
having."
>Gourry O.o as Tenchi uses his name.
>Gourry asks, "Ummm... Do I know you?"
>Lina says, "I think he's heard of you, Gourry."
>The waitress Haaaaais and saunters off..returning fifteen minutes later with
food, glancing at Rei, "And you sir?
>Rei blinks. "Ah... um... just tea?"
>Gourry says, "My fame procedes me even here."
>Gourry smiles proudly,.
>The waitress sets down Tenchi's food and nods at Rei, walking off again.

>Burn says to Lina, "Well if you're gonna be busy with your friend here, I guess

>The waitress eyes Rei, "Excuse me.. would your name be Rei by any chance?"
>Burn-_-*, "I never said that he was your boyfriend..."
>Gourry looks up at the ceiling, still in sitting position in his prone chair..
"That's because you're too violent and have no chest."

>Tenchi tries the ramen, figuring out what flavor it is.
>Rei blinks. "... Why do you ask?" o.o
>Burn leaves enough money that pays for both Lina's and his food.
>Burn says, "I'm gonna jet if you're gonna be busy."
>The waitress smiles, "Well we had a young girl in here a few days ago that left
your description with us. She wanted to know if you frequented this restaurant
more than the one next door."

>Lina lets out a breath, and finishes her last bowl of ramen.

>Burn asks Rin, "Are they always like this?"
>Rei sweats nervously o.o; . o O ( I hope thy didn't recall me walking out
without paying a few times... )
>Rin says, "I don't think so... I've never met Gourryhan before, though."
Burn sighs a bit.
>The waitress steps out briefly, "Um, Rei-san it'll be in a few minutes. Would
you like something to eat while you wait? It's paid for."
>Lina sets the last empty bowl down, and looks at Gourry. "Now what's so
important?"
>Gourry crawls up on his knees, eyes peering over the table at Lina.
>Rei blinks. "Huh?" o.o . o O ( *sounds of gears turning* paid-for=free food )
"Ah... hmm... some rice, maybe?"

>The waitress nods and steps into the kitchen.

>Tenchi takes more bites and slurps of his ramen. Odd, it's been more than 3
minutes and he's still eating it.

like soworried and stuff cuz I like totaly haven't seen you and stuff and I was
wondering whre you were cuz I like totally went to the park and you like
weren't there and junk and I asked around and well I was at the shop lots cuz
cute girls have been kidnapped but you'll protect me right cuz you're my
boyfriend and how've you been? n.n"

Sakura
The girl before you is the epitome of enthusiasm and cheerfulness, as she
practically radiates her warmth when you look at her. She appears to be at
least seventeen or so, and her long, straight brown hair has been pulled up
into a ponytail, the tips of which just come past her shoulders. Black eyes
filled with curiosity and an almost predatory quality to them rove about her
surroundings. Currently she is clad in her work uniform, this consisting of a
short sleeved cotton blouse, over which she wears a black vest with bright pink
flowers embroidered in a vertical pattern. Completing her attire she wears a
black skirt, loose and fluttering just above her knees, and a pair of black
flats.
Carrying:
>Sakura snuggles, "I know cuz I've like TOTALLY been so like busy and stuff and
I missed you and I was wondering where you were and like I really couldnt' find
you anywhere and you said you were in the park and HEY! I have that picture!

>Rei blinks. "Picture?"
>Tenchi asks, "Is she your girlfriend, Rei?"
>Sakura NODS and hops in Rei's lap, "HAI! n.nV"

Rei looks in shock in the photo.. which she shows to Rei ^_^ "You're just so

never seen a picture before. Wait, he hasn't.

>Sakura teehee's and holds up a camera, "With this you silly! n.n"

>Sakura blinks... and narrows her eyes, "Momo? Who's this Momo? Have you been
cheating on me REIKUN! I'll kill her!" She grabs Rei by the throat and starts
shaking him, "WHOISSHEWHOISSHEWHOISSHE!!"
>Tenchi asks innocently "Say what?" He seemed to have missed somethin.
>Rin whisper back to Tenchi. "That's what demons do is trick cute innocent
girls."
>Burn asks, "See what I mean?"
>Rei chokes, reching up to clasp Sakura's hands @.@ "... H... help... er...

>Sakura lets her hands get clasped, "Oh." She settles down and beeeeeams like a

your dinner? Here lemme help," she catches up the bowl and turns back to Rei,

>Burn taps Tenchi, "Don't dig a deeper hole."
>Rin counts on her fingers without saying a word...her count goes up past 3
before she stops and sighs.
>Rei is opening wide, as he tries to get oxygen to his brain. Obviously a doomed
effort.
>Sakura starts pouring rice in ^_^ "Now eat it aaaaaall up Rei-kun! n.n"
>Tenchi asks, "Rin, you're not trying to count girlfriends, are you?"
>Rei chokes again, but he does swallow @.@
>Rin exclaims, "Tenchi... you already have a daughter and you're not even
married yet!"

>Sakura beams and pulls the bowl away to let Rei breath before starting over

>Sakura giggles and dumps another quarter of the rice in n.n n.n "Want something
to wash that down with Muffin?"

>Gourry flies out of the both across the room and crashes into a table.

waits impatiently for a waitress to come out with tea, and then pours a cup
full to hand to Rei n.n n.n
>Tenchi says, "Rin, no, when you talk about sleeping with someone, you don't
mean sleep as in having dreams and snoring, it doesn't mean that."
>Lina sputters. ".... Three *HUNDRED* yen?!?!?!"
>Lina exclaims, "That's not even the price of *ONE* bowl of ramen, Gourry!!"
>Rin exclaims, "I'm not the one who was talking about all the people they sleep
with!"
>Gourry asks, "O.o;;; Really?"
>Rei takes the cup, gulping it down. o.o Probably a mistake

>Lina's tone is so frosty, you could use it to keep meat in. "That's a safe
guess."
>Tenchi asks, "Rin, I didn't sleep with anyone to have Mayuka! You know,

>Lina waves to Ryouko, and @whaps Gourry again. "Try harder!!"
>Tenchi holds Mayuka up and says "Say hi, Mayuka." She doesn't.

>Rei eats slowly. Sakura is perched on his lap. @.@

>Lina grits her teeth. "You're not thinking that well when I *don't* hit you,
either ... " She clenches a fist. "C'mon, Gourry, *THINK!* If we can't find
that amulet, all you can do is lead me to the place where you found it!"

>Tenchi hugs Ryouko back. He's almost used to doing this.

>Tenchi says, "Yeah, she's been good. She hasn't asked to borrow a car or ran
away with a boyrfirned or anything like that. *laugh*"

>Rin mutters. "Don't let her follow you're example, Tenchi..."

>Donovan enters quietly, each step taken by this big man results in a slight but
audible creak as he moves across the floor. He stops and looks around, see's a
few familiar faces and nods to them.

Donovan
An enigmatic man glances over, the air about him is intimidating but there is
an over all sense about him that is calming as well. His tall wide frame
towers over six foot and is garbed in a unique but rather tradition (for his
culture) wear. Donovan's strong but slender upper frame is dressed in a long
sleeved top, gold running down his chest and a long red sleeve over his right
arm. The left side of his chest and left arm are bare. Adorning his wrists
are golden bracelets. Around his neck is a rather interesting article,
another traditional peice. It is a series of rings, starting at his collar
bone and moving up to below his throat. Draped over his chest and circling
around his back are dark blood red beads, set in a series but seemingly not
attached by anything. But the beads run so close together that this may not
be the case. His lower have is covered by a cloth sash, golden with smaller
blue ribbons intermingled in it. It splits on the side exposing his muscular
leg. His feet are wrapped with small twines moving around his ankles. Most
times he wears sandles to save on wear on his feet. The sash is met at the
waist with another red shorter sash and tied up with a gold ribbon with red
embroidery. He shifts his stance and glances over to you, cool peircing eyes
look to you, as well as feeling as if they are looking through you. His face
is stoic and dark, but somewhat handsome. The light glimmers off his eyes
showing the deep pools of dark red. Decorating his forehead is a simple jewel
the shimmers when the light catches it right. A long loose strand of dark
auburn hair hangs over his one eye and cheek, the rest of his hair is tied
back into a tight ponytail, braided and flows down to nearly below his waist.
Donovan moves quietly and gracefully, surprising for a man of his size, and
each movement seems planned but the alertness he shows proves he may be ready
at anytime to spring into action. Though this man may stand out in a crowd,
there seems something about him that is not so obviously on the surface.

>Muu-Tsu asks, "Can I help anyone?"

>Sakura snoozes in Rei's lap. z.z

>Tenchi gulps but snugs back. He looks to the door as if expecting Aeka to
suddenly appear.
>Gourry continues to sit and ponder.
>Lina sighs, glowering at Gourry.
>Rin smiles at Ryouko and nods ... tottally unconvincingly.
>Donovan makes his way to a seat, his blade follows behind just a few feet,
makes a half cirlce around Donovan and then hovers patiently as Donovan himself
sits down to relax.
>Tenchi blinks as the expected appearance in the doorway doesn't happen.
>Sakura snuggles, clinging to Rei quite happily thank you. z.z
>Rei blinks O.o "Don't that just beat all."
>Gourry exclaims, "Ah ha! I sold it to a little old man who wanted it for his
wife!"
>Lina facefaults. *WHAM* _._,,,
>Muu-Tsu says, "May I help you, sir?", turning to Donovan.
>Tenchi says, "Rin... if you say that sword's a demon, I'm not going to argue."
>Ryouko looks at Tenchi face to face.
>Tenchi tries to smile back at Ryouko.
>Ryouko whispers in Tenchi's ear.
>Tenchi listens.
>Sakura z.z
>Ryouko kisses Tenchi's said ear.
>Tenchi turns red.
>Rin rolls her eyes.
>Rei . o O ( ... I think she's asleep. Whew. )

>Donovan looks over to the man before him, his expression reserved and quiet. He
isn't a man of many words, shown by his simple answer. "Yes..wine."
>Tenchi says, "I... I..."
>Rei . o O ( Wait a minute, how do I move now O.o )
>Muu-Tsu asks, "Any particular sort?"
>Rin says, "I'm too tired for demons."
>Tenchi . o O ( Great. Every time she sees a real demon she doesn't care. )
>Lina says, "Gourry, we have to find that old man and/or his wife. Fast. And/or,
you need to show me where you *found* the blasted amulet in the first place."
>Donovan nods simply. "Red.." He then looks over towards Rin at the mention of
the word 'demons', his eyes flash then turn back to the man taking his order.
>Gourry says, "Where I found it? Well thats a tough one..."
>Rei certainly qualifies as one, appearance-wise O.o
>Muu-Tsu nods and places a wine bottle and glass that were not anywhere to be
seen a moment before on Donovan's table.
>Rin asks, "What omlette are you looking for, Linahan?"
>Tenchi says, "Amulet... it's a thing you wear."
>Red XIII twitches an ear, lifting his head briefly o o ( ..wait, he didn't call
my name. ) He lowers his head again.
>Sakura cuddles up nice and comfy like. z.z
>Rei exhales x.x
>Lina says, "Something that Gourry here found, and sold ... and which we need to
try and step a massive invasion of monsters from other dimensions."
>Rei blinks at Lina's comment. "Come again?"
>Rin says, "What does it look like? o.o"
>Gourry says, "See, I got caught in this Wild Magic blast which shot me into the
astral plane where I landed in this astral.. which is where I found the amulet."

>Ardza moves around a little to Donovan's side, it hovers there for a moment
humming quietly. Donovan takes the wine glass and bottle and pours himself
some, looks to his sword and moves his hand to back it off. The blade hums,
then takes it's position behind Donovan as he rests and drinks.

where Lina sits, he watches her for the moment then glances to the man with
