Miyamoto Herbal Store



As you walk in, the first thing that strikes you about this 20'x20' room is how 

orderly it is. The door that leads back to the street has a small bell attached 

to it, so it jingles when someone comes in. There are three aisles, each one 

neat and tidy, some having labeled glass jars on them while others have wrapped 

bundles of herbs. The air smells faintly of vanilla, and suddenly, you see why. 

The counter, which is located by the left wall of the shop, has an incense 

burner resting at one end, a faint flicker of smoke rising out of it. Just 

behind the counter is a set of steps that leads up, probably to the owner's 

living quarters. There is another exit at the far end of the shop, and one can 

see multitudes of plants through the doorway. Four lamps, one in each corner of 

the shop, illuminate everything with a very relaxed, homey light. Makes you 

feel like browsing for a while, as there's definitely plenty to look over in 

here.

>Rei steps in, rubbing the back of his neck, grinning like an idiot

>Sakura-chan beams brighter than a flashlight, "How are you N'stuff? ^_^ ^_^"

>Rei sweatdrops. "Broke."   ^^;

>Sakura-chan stares and EEEKS, "Broke!?! Oh my god that's horrible! How'd that 

happen??"

>Rei sweatdrops again. "Well, I think it involved spending all of my money."

Sakura-chan



The girl before you is the epitome of enthusiasm and cheerfulness, as she 

practically radiates her warmth when you look at her. She appears to be at 

least seventeen or so, and her long, straight brown hair has been pulled up 

into a ponytail, the tips of which just come past her shoulders. Black eyes 

filled with curiosity and an almost predatory quality to them rove about her 

surroundings.  Currently she is clad in her work uniform, this consisting of a 

short sleeved cotton blouse, over which she wears a black vest with bright pink 

flowers embroidered in a vertical pattern.  Completing her attire she wears a 

black skirt, loose and fluttering just above her knees, and a pair of black 

flats.

>> Sakura-chan smiles as she notices you looking at her.


>Sakura-chan giggles, "Omigaw I know -THAT- you big silly ^_^ I mean like, 

don'cha like, have a job or something?"

>Rei shakes his head   o.o;

>Sakura-chan's jaw drops. *CLUNK* into the counter. She picks it back up and 

slaps herself a few times, "Anooo.." She pauses, and suddenly gets a 

******GLEAM****** in her eyes.

>Rei is beginngint to think this was a bad idea    o.o

>Sakura-chan VAULTS over the counter and glomps onto your arm,  "Hey I've got a 

really really good idea so why don't you work here n'stuff and make deliveries 

and not many people ask for deliviries but it'll be somthing to do and you can 

get paid really well and I"m sure mom won't mind if I ask her really nicely cuz 

I can tell you're a trustworthy kinda person so what do ya say?

>Rei . o O ( Okay... plan was to ask for a job here, as Sakura makes a good 

contact... but this isn't going exactly as planned )

>Rei sweatdrops, as he slowly pieces through that. "Er... um.... okay."

>Sakura-chan lets go with another shriek, "WAI! that'll be so cool to --- EEK! 

Oh noooo! ;.;" She bapbapbapbaps her forehead against the counter, "Like I just 

TOTALLY realized something!"

>Rei blinks. "Huh?"

>Sakura-chan bursts into tears, "Like it'd be totally cool for you to get the 

job but mom doesn't allow flirting with the employees and stuff! WAH!!" She 

pops over again and pats you on the head, "Sorry Rei-kun, but you can't be my 

boyfriend anymore. Please try to understand." u.u

>Rei pauses. "I guess it's just a burden I'll have to bear."   o.o

>Sakura-chan snifs and nodnods, "Oh you're so so brave Rei-kun! I know you're 

just torn up about it, but don't worry, we'll still be together! Just as 

coworkers now."

>Sakura-chan n.- "And if you need a shoulder to cry on, you can come to me ^_^"

>Rei gives a thumbs up. "Of course..."   n.n;

>Sakura-chan giggles ^_^ "Okay like, I technically like don't have the authority 

to like, put you like, on payroll n'stuff yet y'know? But like, I can pretty 

much totally give you a like, guarantee y'know?"

>Rei nods. Worth a shot, especially since Ryu told him not to steal. That, and 

all the restaraunt owners around here have started asking for money BEFORE they 

serve now.   o.o;   "... I can deal with that."

>Sakura-chan asks, "Okay so like, you haven'tlike, got a yen to your name right?"

>Rei shakes his head.

>Sakura-chan chews on her finger nail, "Well I like, can't just -give- you the 

money cuz like, that would be dishonest y'know? So like, you can make the first 

delivery." She picks up a box of soil and scribbles the store's address on the 

'to and from' spots, and hands it over, "So like, deliver this package and I 

can like, give you some moeny for it n'stuff. ^_^ ^_^ Think ya can handle that?"

>Rei nods again. "Sounds simple enough..."

>Famous last words.

>Sakura-chan says, "Wild! Here's the package then ^_^ *hands it over*"

>Rei takes it. "So, where's it go to?"

>Sakura-chan points upstairs, "Just like, totally set it down any ol' where ^_^"

>Rei blinks, and shrugs

You walk up the stairs to the living quarters.





Family Room



The single upstairs room is as neat as the shop below it, if not more so. A 

single lamp hangs from the center of the room, providing enough light. A 

cleverly designed kitchenette is built into the far wall, as well as a fully 

stocked cupboard. Everything one could need to make delicious home-cooked meals 

is here, including a small refridgerator, stove, and microwave. The bedrolls 

are resting in the corner, partially hidden behind a bamboo folding screen. In 

the center of the room is a plain wooden table, with a fresh vaseful of flowers 

resting in the center. Set into the left wall are two rows of drawers for 

clothing, a full length mirror hanging between them. There are two curtained 

windows in the right wall, with many small potted plants soaking up the 

sunlight, like a miniature garden. The view isn't breathtaking, but the mood of 

the room makes one feel welcome.

>Rei waits patiently. At least it seems to be an easy job, so far.

>Sakura-chan takes out a few bills and counts o O ( ... this oughta be enough 

for a week's pay. ) "Okay here's like, the money n'stuff." She holds out the 

pay, "Pay day will be every Saturday, unless it's a holiday, in which case 

it'll like, be a Friday."

>Rei nods   o.o

>Sakura-chan giggles "Anything else? ^_^ ^_^"

>Rei rubs the back of his neck. "I think I got it..."

>Sakura-chan exclaims, "Wild!"

>Sakura-chan says, "So like, there really like isn't any business today is 

there? >.> <.<"

>Rei looks around. "Apparently not."

>Sakura-chan says, "Hm. Well I like, have to stay and stuff, but like, you don't 

o O ( Since you're not technically on payroll till mom knows anyway <.<; ) ^_^ 

Besides it's a nice day ^_^"

>Rei nods. "... Need anything else done?"

>Sakura-chan says, "Oh that's so Sweet of you to ask! *.*  Oh um, no 

nothing right now anyway o.o Mom'll probably have a buncha stuff for you later 

though."

>Rei nods to Sakura, then proceeds to stand around, rubbing the back of his neck 

nervously   c.c

>Sakura-chan blinkblinks, "Something wrong? -.o;;"

>Rei shakes his head. "Just quiet."

>Sakura-chan says, "Oh ya, totally. But believe me, it's better when it's nice 

and quiet on the weekends. Sometimes you like, get a rush in the evening and 

then like, it's totally crazy and out of hand @.@"

>Rei nods. "I see."

>Sakura-chan says, "You do? You've seen this place under siege? o.o"

>Rei shakes his head   o.o

>Sakura-chan waves a finger, "Ah, then you haven't seen yet ^_-"

>Rei blinks, but can't argue with that logic   c.c

>Sakura-chan grins, then ohs o.o "So like, how much experience have you had with 

flowers and stuff?"

>Rei rubs the back of his neck. "Uh... they grow in soil."

>Sakura-chan sweatdrops, "Ara.......y..yeah that they do.." ^^;

>Rei grins innocently   ^^;

>Sakura-chan giggles, "So like, what didyou do for work back home?"

>Rei pauses for a bit, then comments, "...I fought against a criminal group..."

>Sakura-chan pikus.. "Criminals? OH! You were a cop?"

>Sakura-chan exclaims, "That's SOOOO Kewl!"

>Rei blinks. "... In a fashion."

>Sakura-chan asks, "Totally rad! So like, how come you like, aren't going to the 

police station to get a job as a cop there?"

>Rei blinks. "Er... I don't get along too well with the local police."   ^^;

>Sakura-chan asks, "Really? Gee I can't imagine why o.o Or Wait, they must be 

too stuffy for you huh?"

>Rei plays along. "Yeah, all those rules and regulations don't stop crime, you 

know."   o.o;

>Sakura-chan asks, "Totally, I mean like, half the rules let the really bad ones 

like, go back out on the street n'stuff -.- That's like, totally stupid y'know?"

>Rei says, "Yeah, you'd be surprised at the number of thieves running around."

>Sakura-chan says, "Shyah, I know, I mean like, it's like so unsafe around here 

o.o I have to remind myself to lock up like twice n'stuff cuz like, who knows 

what'll happen o.o"

>Rei nods. "Of course, of course."   -.-

>Sakura-chan rambles, "Ya, but at least there're a few people  a girl can trust, 

y'know, like you and ma, ya!"

>Rei nods, giving a wary thumbs up. "You can trust me!"   ^^;

>Sakura-chan beams, "Oh yeah, totally I do n'stuff cuzyou're so nice, I mean 

nice people don't do bad things!" she pauses, "Well unless they like, have a 

really good reason n'stuff."

>Rei nods

>Sakura-chan beams, then eeps, "Omigaw, I just realized I left the cake in the 

oven! I gotta go Rei-chan, I won't forget to tell mom tho! n.n" She *poofs* up 

the stairs.
