Seventh Heaven Bar - Main Room

Tifa's Seventh Heaven Bar has a campy feeling to it, primarily constructed of

dark wood with occasional items for decoration. Several worn tables grace the

area near the door, looking beaten up from years of patrons. The bar is more

well kept, stocked with a vast amount of alcoholic beverages and components for

mixed drinks. The room is just a tad dimly lit, feeling cozy and familiar at

the same time. Other areas of interest are the entrance to the kitchen, and a

porch with some comfy chairs. All in all, the Seventh Heaven is a nice tribute

to what someone can put together for a business if they try. A machine for a

game similar to pinball sits on the less used side of the room, sporting an

"Out of Order" sign. Most of the damage that was obvious only a little while

ago is now repaired with more permenant fixes, so the bar once again is back to

it's former self.

[Players : Kei, and Vincent ]

[Sleepers: Tifa ]

[Things : None ]

>Kei crosses her arms, pouting. Her chest lifts up and down as she takes a few

deep breaths. Then she yells, "Okay, fine, where's that stinking pukebag who

dumped Yuri?"

>Ryan strolls in, yawning. He immediately stops in his tracks. "...?"

>Vincent frowns slightly. Shifting his position a bit, he turns around to face

the girl as she suddenly changes tracks on him, "Are you speaking of Cloud?"

>Ryan . o O ( This can't be good O_o )

"Who dumped Yuri?

>Ryan asks, "Who dumped Yuri?"

>Kei shakes her head angrily. "Cloud? No... _Derek_. Where's he?!"

>Susano has arrived.

>Ryan blinks, sweatdropping. "Haven't seen him."

>Susano trods in again, this time heading directly to one of the beaten-up

tables and taking a seat, slumping forward.

>Vincent shakes his head, turning back to the table he's seated at. He doesn't

know of the situation, nor does he have any information to offer, even if he

did. A glance is given to Susano as he walks in.

>Ryan is focused more on Kei, thankyouverymuch

>Kei turns to Ryan, her eyes blazing. She bites off her words very harshly.

"Where CAN I FIND him?!"

>Kei doesn't even acknowledge the newcomer, that's how pissed off she is. NEVER

make a redhead mad.

>Ryan blinks, taking a step back. "Hey, hey, I don't have a clue, babe!

Seriously! Maybe you should, like, explain what's going on?"

>Kei stomps her way to Ryan, grabbing him by the lapels. She shoves her face

very close to his, growling, "He never called Yuri again! That son of a bitch!"

>Susano looks up, his his eyes locking on Kei, his neck swivelling back to where

it was. He straightens out then leans back on his chair, scratching his

stubble-less chin.

>Ryan blinks. "Hey, I saw him try to give her a call, but he got the answering

machine."

>Ryan . o O ( Woah... she's ticked O_o Good thing I DON'T know where Derek

is... )

>Kei jams her nose against Ryan's nose. "Yeah, a "I'll call you back" message.

Where the hell is he now???" There's a grinding noise, which eventually y'all

realize is coming from her teeth.

>Ryan sweatdrops. "Ah... I haven't seen him in two or three days... and last i

saw him, he was kinda busy beating up a vengeful spectre from beyond the

grave."   o_o;

>Susano isn't actually paying that much attention. He's more intent on looking

over the patrons, as before, in hopes of finding someone to mooch off of.

>Kei pulls back a bit, her eyes still blazing. She doesn't believe ONE word of

what Ryan says, except to growl, "Well, he can go join the ghosts very soon if

I don't catch him. -.-"

>Cloud pages, "... ... ..." to you.

>Vincent is about the only other 'patron' in this bar. Unfortunately, he doesn't

appear to be an easy target, nor does he appear to be in the most particularly

good mood. But then, he always seems like that. Usually.

>Ryan sweatdrops. "I'm dead serious. He even got hurt."

>Susano has figured that out. He's willing to try, if someone not always

usually so tough doesn't happen to walk in. Bringing his hand to the tabletop

he drums out a slow rhythm, waiting.

>Kei lets go of Ryan, then looks back towards tall, dark, and mysterious. Or

more specifically, Vincent. She shakes her head. "Well...! So, has anything

happened around here lately?"

>Kei addresses the room, actually. ^.^

>Ryan rubs the back of his neck... and suddenly, inspiration hits. He asks, with

great urgency, "Kei! You have a spaceship, right!"

>Vincent addresses the room as well. But it's sorta more in specifically put to

Ryan's attention, "Cloud has been taken to the location of Harken." there, it's

out, whatever little message he was previously holding in.

>Ryan TURNS to face Vincent. "Come again!? Why didn't you say something before!?"

>Vincent indicates Kei with a nod of his head, "Because you were contending with

the outburst of this young lady." he answers, calmly.

>Kei blinkblinks, nodding at Ryan, smiling just a bit cutely before looking over

at Vincent. "What??? You told me he was visiting someone!"

>Susano sees no reason to speak out loud, as everyone else is. Though his

comment is hardly as important. "Like, is that bad?"

>Kei giggles nervously. o.o

>Ryan . o O ( Why can't freaky stuff happen at more regular intervals, rather

then bunching up in big clumps like this!? )

>Ryan sweatdrops. "... Point taken." To Kei: "That spaceship might be even more

important now."

>Kei blinks, placing a hand on her hip. "Does it have to do with that ship in

the sky?"

>Vincent nods to Kei's comment, "He is visiting someone. Harken." he returns

his attention to Ryan, "He went willingly enough."

>Ryan nods. "You know it's artificial then too..."

>Ryan says, "I think there may be a connection..."

>Ryan turns to Vincent. "Willingly?"

>Susano is ignored. He's hardly offended, it happens too often. He merely

attempts a thoughtful look and nods. "Yah."

>Vincent nods, "Yes. And he said that he would be back." His voice tells

neither confidence or disagreement with that statement's truth.

>Ryan sighs. "... I'll have to trust him then. Mostly because I can't do

anything about it from here."

>Kei sighs. "I can't do anything about that either." She looks back at Ryan.

"Now... connection?" She arches an eyebrow.

>Ryan coughs. "Yeah..." . o O ( Dunno if I want to talk about this here, but...

aw hell, nobody will care. ) "Harken... and some other people like her... call

themselves 'Metal Demons'... I dunno if that means androids or whatever, but

according to Harken they're planning on destroying all organic life." He raises

his index finger. "And the ship in orbit appeared shortly after Harken did...

and it would take a race of androids or whatever to build something that big."

>Kei arches an eyebrow. "Really? I'll want to talk to her then. That could be a

very illegal parking ticket. Not to mention the WWWA frowns on dictatorships."

>Susano looks over at Ryan, confused at the leap of logic. "Hey. You, dude.

Like, why does it have to be androids? I mean, it could be machines or ETs,

y'know?"

>Ryan sweatdrops. "Er... yeah. Anyway, she isn't exactly easy to get a hold

of... and I'm not sure she's connected with the ship. It's just very likely."

He inhales, "Of course, that's why I wanted to borrow yours, for better

observations, and..." He blinks, and turns to Susano, "Er, she said her and her

kind were made of 'living metal'. I'm just making assumptions here, y'know."

>Kei puts a finger up to her lips. "I'd have to talk to Yuri." Then she beams.

"I don't see any problems! ^.^"

>Ryan beams! "Excellent! It'd take me forever to track one down here... I owe

you."

>Susano nods solemnly, closing his eyes. "Yah, but still." He leans forward on

the table again, rubbing its varnish with his fingernail.

>Ryan asks, towards Susano, "Well, if you have any more details, feel free to

toss 'em in."

>Vincent stands up, calmly. He turns, faces the door, and begins to head for

it. Then he pauses, "I assume that you will stay around long enough to tell

whomever else needs to know?" he asks Ryan, then clarifies, "About Cloud?"

>Ryan sighs, and nods to Vincent. "..."

>Kei scruffles her neck. "I'd better get back to the Lovely Angel... and ask

Yuri about it. I'll be back!" She winks at Ryan, then waves at the others

before dashing off.

>Ryan nods to Kei. "See 'ya around."

>Vincent fixes Ryan with a look. Yes, he practically does have an entire bag

full of them, so to speak, "Is there something the matter?"

>Kei has left.

>Ryan shakes his head, commenting to Vincent, "I just thought spikey knew better

then to run off alone..."

>Susano is almost put on the spot. But he shakes his head and frowns, "I never

even heard of the things." And then his attitude changes, for a moment.

"However, wouldn't it be best to give the object the benefit of the doubt, just

to avoid your falling in over your head?"

>Ryan nods to Susano. "THAT's why I need to do closer observations. I can only

see so much detail with a ground-based scope."

>Vincent shakes his head, "As I have experienced in my talks with Cloud, he has

a habit of not thinking whenever certain factors are concerned." With a pause

for thought, he adds, "Unfortunately, all those factors have a tendancy of

leading directly to dangerous problems."

>Ryan grumbles in Vincent's direction, and nods. "I just hope I don't have to

tell Tifa before he gets back..."

>Susano brushes his hand on the table. "Yah, it's your decision." he mumbles,

scanning the bar for moochable patrons again.

>Ryan wonders why you'd mooch when nobody seems to be on duty >.> <.<

>Vincent stays silent for a moment. And then, "Do you need me to stay and do

so, then? Perhaps it is a task you can trust me with?" Seems to be a hint that

he's a little peeved about something. But his outward calm politeness appears

to turn what would normally be a sarcastic barb into a normal query.

>Ryan turns to Vincent. "Honestly...? I don't think we're safe alone. There's

all sorts of stuff going down, and it's better to be in groups." He sighs, then

smirks to himself. "Of course, I may just be getting paranoid."

Susano probably doesn't know better.

>Susano raises his head to speak. He offers, "Like, stick around here. -I'm-

not going anywhere."

>Ryan raises an eyebrow. "..."

>Vincent frowns slightly, but makes his way back to the table he was seated out,

once again taking a, well, seat.

>Ryan paces back and forth for a moment. "I guess I can run the bar for the time

being." . o O ( Seeing as how Tifa and Rachel aren't around, and Cloud was

stupid enough to go running off by himself. )

>Susano brings his head down, an inch off the table, noting a big ugly smudge.

He rubs it even with his fingers, making this his new temporary pasttime,

neatening the surface of his table.

>Vincent turns to Ryan, "May I have a glass of water then?" he asks the man

calmly, after that general announcement is made.

>Ryan nods to Vincent, hopping behind the bar to fetch it.

>Ryan . o O ( Great. Worlds best Archaeologist ends up bartending. )

>Ryan asks, more then a little sarcastically, "Sparkling or tap?"

>Vincent answers calmly enough, "Tap, please." Feel the affection. c.c;

>Ryan heads to the faucet. *whssshh* 9.9

>Vincent says, "(OOC) Yes folks, this is what is refered to as the dead hours.

n.n"

>Well, at least, by the result of these actions, we all now know that Vincent

does intake liquid refreshment of the normal stripe. Now, the question is, does

he -really- need to? n.n

>Ryan tosses the cup at Vincent. Oddly enough, nothing spills (assuming Vinnie

catches it)

>Vincent was more or less watching Ryan, so, with a quick set of reflexes to

match the sudden action, Vincent does catch it. A little tilted so that -some-

water does spill to the floor, but a fairly good catch nonetheless. "Thank

you." he states blandly.

>Ryan replies, equally blandly, "You're welcome." To Susano, "You want anything?"

>Susano again raises his head from the table, done with his duty. He crosses

then uncrosses his legs, diddling his fingers. He's spoken to, as per the

usual he reacts with a "Huh?" Then he thinks of spending his own little money

on refreshments and shakes his head.

>Ryan shrugs, taking a seat on the stool behind the bar.

>Ryan . o O ( It was more interesting when Kei was yelling at me. At least she

was pretty to look at. )

>Ryan looks at Vincent, then at Susano. . o O ( MUCH more interesting -_= )

>Vincent is pretty to look at as well, see, see. n.- Cute, too. :)

>Susano can draw lots to see who yells at you, also.
