Seventh Heaven Bar - Main Room
Tifa's Seventh Heaven Bar has a campy feeling to it, primarily constructed of
dark wood with occasional items for decoration. Several worn tables grace the
area near the door, looking beaten up from years of patrons. The bar is more
well kept, stocked with a vast amount of alcoholic beveragesand components for
mixed drinks. The room is just a tad dimly lit, feeling cozy and familliar at
the same time. Other areas of interest are the entrance to the kitchen, and a
porch with some comfy chairs. All in all, the Seventh Heaven is a nice
tribute to what someone can put together for a buisness if they try. A machine
for a game similar to pinball sits on the less used side of the room, sporting
an "Out of Order" sign.

>Janus shakes his head slowly after, frowning. "Lyrae. Get downstairs to the
lab. Now. Have Sato Amai hide you. I don't care where, but _do it_. Father
wants you before him."
>Lyrae glances towards Ryan, then snaps her head at Janus, "How..?" She panics
and nods, "Where?"
>Ryan blinks . o O ( What NOW? )
>Kim nods, taking another step back, her left hand coming out of her cloak to
close it further, "I'm fine.."
>Kim says, "He won't get you, Lyrae. We'll make sure he doesn't."
>Lyrae takes a step back herself, not noticing Kim's back steppinng at the
moment.. she looks around, considering the best place to hide. She looks back
at Kim with a smile, "..Thanks Kim.." She looks at Ryan, "Er.. You might wnt to
be careful.. they say Kataki's about.."
>Janus says, "Damn it, Lyrae! Just get into the kitchen, and go downstairs
_now_. _QUICK_. We'll protect you here."
>Lyrae backs away ..then dives into the kitchen.
>Ryan hmmphs and takes a seat. "Surprise surprise." He slings the blaster off
from over his shoulder.
>Kim closes her eyes, bringing her left hand to her head, "What did he say?..."

>Ryan sights the blaster, pointing in Janus' general directon. You hope he has
the saftey on. "Don't worry, nobody's gonna get in here." . o O ( Well,
unless I miss, then there won't be a 'here' )
>Kim says, "....Plan B...we'll take Sensou Lyrae ourselves...."
>Kim opens her eyes, "Yes. That's right. Since...since Es is supposed to
control Lyrae...they want Es to get to her. But if they can't have Es, they'll
get Lyrae without her help."
>Kim drops her arm back under her cloak
>Janus frowns, as he shakes his head slowly. "And, kill Esmerelda, isn't that
part of the plan? I assume it hasn't changed much since I left."
>Kim says, "It seemed like they wanted her to hold a position."
>Ryan says, "That's more of a hobby now, then part of the plan..."
>Kim says, "They could have been lying to her of course."
>Kim says, "Es wanted to meet with Mr. Sensou. They wouldn't let her."
>Janus shakes his head slowly, while saying, "No. Last I had checked, they
wished to kill her. Nothing more. Of course, much has happened since then.
But.... this _isn't_ like father unless...."
>Kim says, "....I'm going to go check on Lyrae."
>Ryan asks, "Unless?"
>Kim has left.
>Janus frowns towards Kim, and nods. "Do not pull the same trick as before, or
else."
>Janus closes his eyes slowly after, as he comments, "You do not want to know."
>Ryan hmms. "I just hope they don't get hooked up with Esmerelda. THAT would NOT
be good for our health..."
>Janus nods slowly, "Exa--" he suddenly blinks right after, and quickly rushes
towards the kitchen door, "SHIT..."
>Ryan blinks. "...?"
>Janus has left.

as if she's in pain.
>Lyrae watches Kim worriedly, resisting the urge to back away, "Kim?"
>Janus SLAMS the door open to the wine cellar quickly, as he runs down the
stairs quickly. "Lyrae," he yells out!
>Kim's eyes are shut tightly.
>Ryan walks into the slammed door, opening it slowly . o O ( Sheesh, why am I
always the last one clued in? )
>Lyrae places a hand against Kim's right arm, "K --" She breaks off, looking up
at her brother.
>Kim jerks! her arm away from Lyrae suddenly, a hissing sound emitting from
within her cloak, "No!"
>Lyrae hops backwards, startled, "Kim what is it? What's wrong...?"
>Ryan takes a step down into the cellar. "Huh? Something going on down here?"
>Kim keeps her eyes shut tightly, gritting her teeth as sweat covers her
forehead.
>Janus RUNS after Lyrae as fast as he can, "Damn it, Lyrae! Get away from her!"
>Kim opens her eyes, they're still glowing a dull blue, "You owe Es. She has
fulfiled HER part of the bargain, now you must."
>Lyrae BACKS away from *EVERYONE*, shaking her head, "...the bargain..."
>Ryan makes it into the cellar now. "... Come again?"
>Kim shuts her eyes again, a sound of pain emitting from her throat as she
stumbles back against the wall, her left hand holding the cloak shut tightly.
>Lyrae places a hand to her mouth.. flight or.. She glances at Kim worriedly,
then looks at Ryan.
>Kim's choker's light flickers unsteadily as she fights the control.
>Kim says, "D-don't go......"
>Lyrae quietly says, "I...I made a bargain with Es in exchange for everyone's
safety.... a while ago.. she told me I'd owee her.."
>Lyrae takes a step towards Kim, "Kim... what's going to happen if I don't?" o O

>Kim says, "It's too dangerous.....s-stay here....."
>Lyrae asks, "...Did she hurt you Kim..?"
>Kim coughs as the light dims by a great deal, "...don't worry about me...."
>Kim opens her eyes, looking exhausted from her internal struggle.
>Ryan doesn't move . o O ( Damn, I can't SHOOT her if she tries something...

>Lyrae quietly says, ".." She looks uneasily at Ryan, then back to Kim, "Kim..
you're my friend, of course I'm going to worry about you.." She takes another
cautious step forward.
>Kim gasps as the light suddenly comes back again, stronger than before.
>Lyrae asks, "Kim..?"
>Lyrae throws Ryan a 'What am I going to DO?' look o.o;; and glances back to Kim.
>Kim, keeping ahold of her cloak with her left hand, suddenly turns, bolting for
the exit.
>Lyrae shouts, "K..Kim wait!? Where are you going!"
>Ryan shrugs at Lyrae. He hasn't got a clue what's going on o.o

Tyr Road [300]
The apartment buildings and hotels give way to smaller, less expensive and
privately owned buildings of like sort. Then those eventually dwindle to what
you find on either side of you now. Yes, various scents of delicious food of a
wide assortment of styles, flavours, and nationalities entices your olfactorial
senses..attempting to lure you in for a bite, or five. Make no mistake,
however. It doesn't come as cheap as those fast food places around southern
Tyr Road..though you'll definately appreciate the higher quality. At a point
up ahead, the road and street becomes an unpaved trail, towards the start of
the steep walls that the mountain atol surrounding Midgaard creates. A deep
gorge carved by forces long forgotten and lost to legend is to the west
here..and a suspension bridge has been erected so that pedestrians might take a
stroll across it to Sif Way to the east, and marvel at it.

You depart to the south.
** Uneventful walk to city square cut **
City Square
Welcome to the middle of the sleepy (yeah, right), humble mountain city of
Midgaard. The peaks that surround the somewhat smallish sprawl of
constructions about you appear a vibrant, cool purple at this distance..capped
with off-white snow at the tops. Although the town itself recieves little
precipitation from being sheltered by this atol of sheer rock, a cold wind does
comb and filter its way through..providing a brisk, though arid, atmosphere.
On the southwestern pointing end of town, a small, manmade pass in the
mountain valley allows for easy access from the bustling world outside. To
your north and west are the commercial districts..manufacturing, shipping, and
selling various consumable goods. In the east, to the 'horizon', appear to be
homes of various architectural influences..the more wealthy of said houses
bordering a small alpine lake and park. To the south, the middle-class homes
continue, thinning out just before the open gap to the highway beyond.
As for where you stand..it is the Midgaard City Square..Several government
offices and the larger buildings can be found on the sides of the slightly
misnomered elliptical, cobblestoned intersection. No actual automobile traffic
passes here, being routed through the side streets..this is a strictly
pedestrian and bicycle zone. A large, granite fountain with a statue of Odin
atop it towers nearly two stories prominantly in the center. There are also
benches about for taking a quiet repose from the hustle of daily life.

doesn't answer his question, leaving it up to him to decide if she is or not.

>Janus frowns, shaking his head slowly. "Didn't you hear her? She said.... the
whole universe, not just your bar."
>Cloud says, "..." as he looks over at Ryan.
>Ryan says, "Well, she can't REALLY blow up the universe. Takes a little more
then a computer to do that."
>Tifa asks, "...She actually meant that?"

>Cloud says, "... how can she know that the universe would end if she messes up?"

>Janus nods slowly afterwards, "You don't want to know.................And,
yes... she would be capable of it, I'm sure."

>Ryan sweatdrops. "Well, if she does, we won't be around to complain about it."
>Cloud asks, "... is it too late to stop her?"
>Ryan says, "... If you have to ask..."

>Janus frowns, as he nods. ".............Far too late."
>Tifa sits down.. Then thinks a moment, and uncorks a bottle of wine. "Anyone
want to toast the the end of the universe? It's on the house."
>Cloud just sits down next to Tifa. "..."
>Ryan exclaims, "Sure!"
>Tifa starts pouring the wine into glasses, smiling pleasantly ^_^; Nervously,
but pleasantly.
>Janus shakes his head slowly, "I shall wait myself. It will probably only take
a few minut--" Sato Amai CHARGES back up, BLINKING. "Oh my god, oh my god! I
hacked into the security cameras...MR. SENSOU IS HERE! *_* *_* He is here in
Midgaard, in the company building, with Esmerelda!"
>Ryan coughs, leaning forward. "WHAT!?"
>Cloud says, "...?"
>Tifa spits out her wine. "W..What?!"
>Janus's eyes BLINK at Sato a moment after, as he then asks, "What the hell...
What is going on?" Sato Amai n.n "They are doing that deal! *_* WOW! Cool
stuff. n.n Mooooooou...Wait, I'm not with them anymore, so I can't experiment
on what Esmerelda is giving them. *sniff* Whaaaaa! ;_;"
>Tifa bolts out of her chair, eager for details n.n
>Ryan looks very nervous now. He slings the blaster off from over his shoulder.
>Cloud says, "... "What deal?""
>Sato Amai frowns, and sniffles. "Esmerelda is giving them something. ;_;
Whaaaaaaaa! I wish this happened while I was still there! They take Lyrae up
there, ands he meets her dead mother and father again...Sure, she gets
upset...but, I don't care! I WANNA EXPERIEMENT ON ESMERELDAAAAAAAAAA! ;_;"

>Tifa asks, "Dead?"
>Ryan just... you know. Sits there.

>Janus just....stares forward slowly, as suddenly his eyes do not look anywhere,
even though they stare forward. He stares *past* the wall, towards
nothingness. Mother......

>Sato Amai blinkblinks, and gazes around. "Uhh...o.o" . o O ( Jeeze, what poor
sports. u.u )
>Tifa waves her hand in front of Janus' eyes, hesitantly. "Hello?"
>Ryan . o O ( Oh goodie, he's getting one of those flashbacks again... o.o; )
>Ryan glances at Tifa with a 'now what?' kinda look
>Cloud looks back towards Sato, suddenly, his eyes hardening. "Where are they
exactly now?"
>Ryan frowns. "She said they were in Sensou before, probably still are."
>Gunter has arrived.
>Janus just.........stares forward. His stare remaining completly blank.
>Ryan is sitting in a chair, blaster rifle in hand. Janus is in la-la land.
>Gunter wanders in quietly... not saying a word at all as he walks to the bar.

take her? You can maybe get some stuff for me to experiment on! *_* But,

>Cloud asks, "... take her?"
>Janus blinks suddenly, shaking his head after..."We....we must go...

>Gunter lays his head on the bar and folds his arms up over it.
>Sato clasps her hands, "Great! *_* Bring me back some stuff to experiment on.
^_^ I'll be in the lab. n.n" she rushrushes over towards the kitchen right
after, of course.
>Janus stands up right after, while he SLAMS the door open, "Follow, now... Try
to keep a close distance behind, at least."

** Uneventful rush to Sensou removed **
Intersection: Fenris/Heimdall
The epitomes of wealth and fortune meet at the intersection of Fenris Drive and
Heimdall Street. Perhaps the oddest thing you can make of this crossing of
paths, is the mutual respect of the two neighborhoods for an ancient black
stone statue of a dragon god whose name has been long forgotten, except in the
spirit of those that placed it here long ago in elder times. The road at the
spot where it is has been purposely kept at a distance, and is surrounded by
fresh flowers, and heavy duty steel railing despite the sparse traffic. Maybe
those who paid for all this think that by protecting the visage of this arcane
god that he will bring to them more wealth? Or maybe it's something more than
that..but nonetheless, it's there, and from what you can make of it..the
sculpture will continue to be for a long time to come.

east. His eyes suddenly become bloodshot with rage for some odd reason.

Fenris Drive [200]
Fenris Drive is the home of those..questionable wealthy individuals and
families. They keep to themselves in their lush, private abodes..thus, the
fences and stone walls here are all tall, and unforgiving. Some of the gates
have high-tech security systems attached to make sure noone unwelcome may
enter. Who knows what goes on inside those large houses? But one thing's for
sure..the residents of Fenris Drive are rarely seen in public. To the west,
you can see the intersection where Fenris meets with its 'cousin',
Heimdall..and directly to the east, the street and road yields to the iron
fencing surrounding a large borealic park and lake.

enters he LOCKS his gun upon Esmerelda, narrowing his bloodshot eyes upon her,
as his face appears to be pale. "You....YOU! DAMN YOU TO HELL, ESMERELDA!"
>Hooded Figure quietly says, "..mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird.."
>Es-chan suddenly holds a finger up to her lips, "Ssshh... I wouldn't shoot me
if I were you deary..." looking to Janus and Ryan
>Ryan comments, "This thing can chew through 10" of steel plate... I wonder how
well it'd work on you?
>Ryan . o O ( 'Course, it only has 5 shots... )
>Kim walks away from the noise, still carrying Lyrae.
>Ryan says, "Of course, you COULD be nice enough to tell us what you're up to."
>Janus doesn't seem to care, as he suddenly starts firing his gun rapidly in
Esmerelda's direction. Well, his eyes seem to be the same bloodshot as Lyrae's
were earlier. Did he see it somehow? "DAMN YOU, ESMERELDA! I'LL KILL YOU
*MYSELF*!"
>Hooded Figure is oblivioius to everything else.. one arm around Kim's neck to

>Janus just keeps firing his gun within Esmerelda, as he does not take notice to
anything else around him. All he can think of, is killing Esmerelda, Kataki,
and his father. Nothing else. Except for saving his sister, but nothing
beyond that.

Another bullet GRAZES her shoulder paintfully...and yet another wound appears
on Kim's own shoulder... Another on her leg..another along her waist... and
she just keeps -smiling-...it's as if she feels no pain..Kim on the otherhand..
>Ryan slings the blaster over his shoulder . o O ( I can't use this now... )
>Cloud says, "... Janus! Stop!" He looks at Kim, still holding his sword before
him. "Look at Kim!"
>Kim looks a bit lightheaded as she strains to keep from dropping Lyrae and stay
on her feet. Oh, her right arm is a large snake BTW....

>Kim drops to one knee, nearly losing Lyrae.
>Janus does not seem to hear Cloud at all, nor see Kim being hit either. All he
can concentrate on, is firing at Esmerelda. Come ooooon, someooooone.........

>Ryan hmms, good idea. He leaps forawrd, sweeping at Janus' feet

one GOOD in the other shoulder..she JERKS back with the impact..letting out a
small giggle as blood splatters on the ground..
>Tifa runs up behind Janus, a little after Ryan.
>Kim crys out as her shoulder burts with blood, falling onto her back, losing
her grip on Lyrae. Luckily she was already kneeling.
>Janus suddenly blinks while he then falls back from the sweep, falling down
towards his back right after...*thump* Although, even that doesn't stop
him...He is WAAAAY too far gone, as he just leans forward and continues firing
at Esmerelda nevertheless.
>Hooded Figure slumps on the ground, falling out of Kim's arms.. as unresponsive
as she was before...lying on her side with her eyes shut. She looks almost
peaceful. Almost.
>Ryan puts Janus in a headlock with his left arm, using the right to attempt to
divert his aim
>Ryan says, "STOP SHOOTING you IDIOT"
>Cloud looks at Kim, then narrows. Only one thing to do. He brings up the sword,
as if to hurl it... and then brings the hilt down on the back of Janus's head.
>Kim's serpent arm hisses and writhes in pain, flopping about on the ground
wildly
>Es-chan continues smiling..as luckly your shots are going wild now..as in your
rage your probably hardly even aiming..and of course..as Janus is being
assailed by his friends..the shots are going wild completely...and she just
giggles happily ^_^ Even as she bleeds from almost a dozen
gunshots..which..frankly...isn't at all human.
>Janus of course is locked in the head lock, but it probably wasn't smart to
leave his gun arm free. He fires at Esmerelda one last time, just before Cloud
whacks him over the head and he falls unconcious right after.
>Ryan releases Janus' unconscious body, and stands back up. He turns, GLARES at
Esmerelda. "You bitch."
>Es-chan waves her hand infront of her as the gunshot is fired. As she slowly
holds her hand back up..the bullet is caught between her fingertips, "What cute
little toys." giggling once more before tossing the spent shell over her
shoulder..she smiles to Ryan pleasently, "I always have..assurances deary... I
detest violence.you should too. For your friends sake." ^_^
>Kim lays on her back, staring straight up at the sky, mostly in shock from the
sudden wounds, especially since there was no external force causing them on her
body.
>Hooded Figure remains lying on her side, eyes closed.
>Tifa's eyes narrow, regarding esmeralda. She starts off towards where Kim is,
ignoring the rest.
>Ryan cracks his knuckles. "How utterly cheap of you." He glances over towards
Kim and Lyrae... and leaps into motion, running towards the pair
>Cloud heads towards Esmerelda, calmly, holding his sword out. "... why don't
you let them go now?"
>Es-chan slowly begins fingering her bullet wounds...fishing around for a
moment... then PLUCKING the shells from out of her body..wincing slightly,
"Ermph..it's pulling them OUT that hurts.." she glances over to Cloud, "Ooh?
Why should I do that deary?"
>Ryan will attempt to snatch Lyrae from Kim's arms. Should be easy, after that.
>Kim crys out in pain with every bullet Es removes from herself.

>Hooded Figure is lying next to Kim really.

looks up at Cloud, "Your friends play a BIT too rough deary..someone could get
their eye poked out at this rate." she frowns, "Ooh..why do I need them?

>Tifa curses under her breath, trying to staunch some of the blood from Kim.

>Kim bites her bottom lip as tears pour out of her eyes from the pain all over
her body.
>Es-chan taptaps her own chest, "I am the only thing keeping Kim alive now. Her
heart is inside ME. Call it...a necromatic heart transplant." she smiles, "And
assurances of my safety. If I am hurt..SHE is hurt..If I Die. SHE dies."
>Ryan scowls. "You won't get away forever, beast."
>Cloud says, "... if she dies... do you die as well?" He looks over at Kim, eyes
narrowing.

>Es-chan giggles, "Do you think I'm stupid? I didn't put MY heart in HER. I'm
quite safe if she should drop quite dead deary." ^_^;

bleeding wounds, "Someone better heal me up..and quick." ^_^

>Tifa looks up, then nods. She goes to search Lyrae for it.
>Ryan watches Es-chan CLOSELY. Not like it will do anything to HELP, but...

bracelet.
>Es-chan does continue smiling ^_^ However..her left eyebrow twitches a
bit...if you look closely enough she IS in pain..but she's being a good actor.

>Tifa pulls the materia out and holds it up. "Got it.."

>Es-chan closes her exotic eyes...as suddenly the green glow glitters around
her.. the blood slowly returns to the wounds...as they begin to close up...

>Kim takes a deep breath as the life returns to her body.

begins to summon a spell... not taking ANY chances..but not attacking..hoping

And who are YOU." she intones.
>Kim pulls Lyrae onto her lap carefully. She's gotten pretty good at
manipulating that serpent for an arm. She looks over at the confrontation.

word of your deeds." Stopping, she takes a look at Kim and then moves her gaze
back to Es, "Did you do that to that child?" Her finger points to Kim's arm

just pure authority

She looks through the translucent cylinder, "I had a feeling you would try

one such as -you-..." she glares...as she does indeed have Kim in her clutches
totally..."And go ahead...say you'll let me do it..give me ONE good excuse to
tell your master how you'll willingly let your charges die....go on....."
>Prophet speaks up, "And if you do that, what will stop them from destroying you
in turn, reptile?"

almost more dangerously than Es' "What do you think gives you the -right- to do
so? That in itself is enough for me to eliminate you, no matter what you may
do. And as for our abilities, you can't even begin to fathom them, dragoness."
She brings her hand together in a fist, the light shrinking down and covering
Esmerelda like a second skin, "Now...bring them back."
>Cloud says, "..." A dragoness and a... goddess.
>Prophet rubs his chin with a gloved hand. A faint hint of a smirk crosses his
face.
>Kim teleports into the room.
>Kim arrives, with Lyrae following behind.
>Kim and Lyrae climb out of a manhole, further off down the street, away from
the others.
>Hooded Figure sits on the ground in the distance, looking around blankly..then
up at Kim.

Goddess is breaking her cover.. she doesn't WANT to force a confrontation..

Megami push her around...she suddenly shifts her eyes over her
shoulder...snarling again..she staggles a bit as the light releases
her...GLARING at Belldandy..defiantly, "No. They are -mine-. And you will
have to FIGHT me for them..."
>Prophet says, in a deep voice, "I suggest you back down, reptile. You might be
able to handle her, or me, alone, but not us both."
>Es-chan snarls at Prophet, "Stay OUT of this MORTAL." then glares back to
Belldandy

>Ryan steps aside as Lyrae and Kim rush past... don't seem in as much danger
now, if the stalemate continues

>Cloud risks a look at Belldandy and Magus, deciding that they have the
situation well in hand. He looks over at Ryan, as if asking if they should go
after Kim and Lyrae

>Ryan walks over, picking up Janus' unconscious form, and runs up behind Cloud
>Belldandy glances over towards the voice, then back at the figure in her
holding field, "Esmerelda, I've just been notified that I have permission to
extinguish your life should you continue to hold onto them. Both the Keepers of
the Blessed -and- the Damned frown upon this sort of behavior. Now, if it is a
fight you want, then I can promise I will make it quick and painless. Do so if
you have grown tired of this life and seek to experience another."

>Prophet rubs his chin with his gloved hand. "Checkmate, Esmerelda."
>Es-chan points at Belldandy, "YES I do challenge you! I challenge you to one
on one combat! I believe THAT much is within my rights in your own
books..afterall..the Divine can't lose..ne? Either that..or we FIGHT right
here! And you know the resulting combat will destroy every last living thing
in this city..." she threatens...
>Prophet says, in a deep voice, "It doesn't have to. I have a suitable
battleground, if you're so determined..."

** The group runs off to Kim and Lyrae's hiding place, entering through the roof
of the old church. **
Odin Street Church: Back Room
This room certainly does a job of revealing the building's age. For everything
here is pretty much either broken or breaking down. Fragments of wood and
stone litter the floor, mixed in with the dust and dirt present throughout the
building. The stairs leading up high into the rafters are worn away, and
missing in places. In fact, one of the wooden catwalks connecting two flights
is totally destroyed. A large metallic object lays up against one of the high
walls, stretching nearly to the ceiling. It could possibly be the old steeple
of the church, but it's hard to tell, given its current condition.

Odin Street Church: Sanctuary(#1639RA)
The tall stained glass windows of the old building flood the room with a dusty
light. Your ears hear every creak and bend as you step across the old wooden
floor. This once joyous place of worship has long since fallen into a state of
disrepair, yet through the dirt and the cobwebs the atmosphere remains bright
and comforting. A portion of the wooden floor is even broken away, revealing a
patch of wild flowers growing in the center of the room.

>Cloud arrives, with Ryan and Janus following behind.
>Kim looks up, sitting next to Lyrae who's sleeping in a pew.
>Kim asks, "H-how did you get in here?"
>Ryan says, "It's an old building..."
>Kim says, "....."
>Cloud says, "..."
>Janus is of course being dragged along. x.x
>Kim says, "Is Es gone?..."
>Cloud whispers, "Eh?" to you.
>Ryan shakes his head, and sighs. "I have no idea... those two were holding him
off or something."
>Kim says, "She was so weakened....she cut off communication with me. Oh god I
hope she's gone..."
>Cloud says, "..." as he looks at Kim's arm.
>Kim blinks, noticing Cloud's eyes. She pulls her cloak further over her right
arm.
>Kim says, "Look, I didn't ask for it..."
>Ryan slams his fist against on of the walls. "Damn her."
>Cloud asks, "... why are you serving her? How did she...?"
>Janus moans slightly, as his head shakes from side to side. Damn hes got a bad
headache.
>Kim says, "I started serving her because I lost a battle with her.....she put
this on me...." rubbing the choker on her neck
>Kim says, "It controls me..."
>Ryan puts Janus down on one of the pews. (finally)
>Janus slowly moves his upper body up after, while he rubs his forehead right
after. He turns his head slowly around the area after, setting his eyes on
each figure. "Damn...What happened to... Esmerelda?"
>Ryan says, "She's.. occupied."
>Cloud says, "... the..." He turns to Ryan. "Who was she?"
>Kim says, "A savior..."
>Ryan rubs the back of his neck, speaking slowly. "I... met her before. She said
something about being a Goddess, or something, but I didn't believe it..."
>Janus frowns, and looks between the three after. "Who was... who?"
>Janus's eyes blink at Ryan for a brief moment. After all hes seen, for some
reason he wouldn't be surprised.
>Cloud says, "... Goddess." Somehow, it would fit.
>Kim says, "Works for me."
>Ryan takes a seat, and exhales. "..."
>Janus's eyes blink once more right after. . o O ( A.... goddess. ) He then
gazes over towards Lyrae right after, as he locks his eyes upon her. . o O (
Lyrae... ) He closes his eyes slowly after. . o O ( She.... must be
traumitized. )
>Kim asks, ".....are you.....planning on staying here?"
>Kim touches her neck lightly as she looks around at you three . o O (I can't
feel her at all.....but...she can't be dead or I would be...)
>Janus gazes over towards Kim slowly right after, as he then nods after. "If you
do not mind..... I wish to watch.. my sister. Make sure she is allright."
>Cloud sighs, taking a seat on the other pew.
>Ryan looks over his shoulder at Janus, voicing no complaints
>Kim says, "...I will protect your sister with my life, Janus....but I can't
deny you the request to watch over her."
>Janus . o O ( Of course, I wouldn't mind getting Cloud back.... Damn he gave me
a bad headache. -.- )
>Cloud says, "... fine."
>Janus nods towards Kim, "Of course. Although, I choose to protect her myself
as well. She is my only sister after all, and the only 'respectable' living
family member left of mine."
>Kim nods, "I understand completely."
>Kim says, "I met your father."
>Ryan stays quiet a moment, the ventures to ask, "What was he like?"
>Janus frowns, and nods slowly right after. "I know," is all he says in reply to
that. Yet, his eyes darken right there, as a look of utter hatred flashes
through them.
>Kim glances over at Ryan
>Kim says, "....I'd rather serve under Esmerelda than him.."
>Ryan blinks. That's saying a LOT.
>Janus nods slowly, while shutting his eyes after, "Esmerelda is nothing
compared to Lyrae's and my father. And, now that he has come into action, do
not expect to stop hearing from him anytime soon."
>Cloud raises an eyebrow.
>Ryan exhales. "Lovely."
>Kim says, "He and Esmerelda made a deal...."
>Ryan runs his fingers through his hair . o O ( This is gonna get UGLY... )
>Cloud asks, "... what kind of deal?"
>Janus frowns afterwards, while he looks after towards Kim. "What deal? What is
my father up to _now_?"
>Kim says, "They're working together it seems...."
>Janus closes his eyes once more, while he comments, "That is just what I feared
most of all."
>Kim says, "Esmerelda wants to make...changes...in him...to improve him.....and
she's willing to provide him with the tools of her own power...."
>Kim says, "Hopefully, she's playing him for a fool, which is what I hope....but
I don't know."
>Cloud says, "...What exactly does he gives her?"
>Kim says, "...nothing, that I'm aware of.....she merely asked for Lyrae and
myself to be completely hers, and untouched by the orginization....."
>Janus shakes his head slowly, while he says, "My father is never tricked.
Never has been, never will. He will find out if she is before it is too late."
he then blinks, and opens his eyes slowly after, "That is probably it. Maybe
she knew just how powerful the organization was, and knew that they would not
stop for you nor Lyrae?"
>Belldandy pages, "There's a knocking at the door" to Cloud, Janus, Kim and you.
>Kim says, "But why would they want us?....or...rather me? Lyrae is his
daughter afterall..."
>Kim jumps! to her feet, her right arm hissing.
>Cloud says, "..."
>You page-pose, "Ryan walks over to the door, opening it a crack" to Belldandy,
Cloud, Janus and Kim
>Janus frowns, "Power, plain and simple." he blinks, and looks over towards the
door right after. "Someone check who it is, quickly."
>Belldandy has arrived.
>Kim blinks
>Kim says, "The savior....."
>Cloud says, "... the goddess..."
>Ryan clasps his hands together . o O ( I don't care, as long as it isn't
Esmerelda... )
>Belldandy walks in, looking much more tired than you last remember seeing her.
She clasps her hands in front of her as she walks forward, "Well..that's taken
care of for now."
>Janus's eyes narrow over towards Belldandy at first for a brief moment, and
unluckily doesn't know her. But, his narrowed eyes leave as soon as he hears
the comments of the other two. And, he nods his head towards her after. "Is
Esmerelda gone?" he asks simply.
>Kim runs up to Belldandy and bows to her, "Oh miss, welcome to our home."
'I guess this means you two won...
>Ryan says, "I guess this means you two won..."
>Belldandy blinks and puts a hand on Kim's shoulder, "There now, you don't have
to do that, child." She looks up at Ryan, "Won? No, neither of us won tonight.
I just sealed off her magic for the time being. She's as normal as you are for
now.." . o O ( And myself, for that matter.. )
>Kim erks . o O (Child again?)
>Kim stands up straight.
>Cloud says, "... wait. What about... her heart?"
>Cloud looks over at Kim.
>Kim says, "Es must still have it...."
>Janus frowns after a moment, and nods over towards Belldandy right after. "We
will make do," he mursmurs afterwards, while he moves his gaze back over
towards his sleeping sister, whome he watches carefully.
>Kim says, "Where is she now?."
>Belldandy sighs and looks over at Cloud, "I'm afraid she's being very stubborn,
warrior. I may need to get special approval to deal with the problem as it
should be dealt with."
>Belldandy . o O ( And my sisters' help as well.. )
>Cloud says, "... thank you, miss...?" His voice trails off, in that inquiring
way.
>Belldandy smiles softly at Kim, "That, I do not know. She disappeared right as
I was sealing off her magic. She's no doubt hiding, as she is quite mortal
now." With a tired sigh, she puts her hand to her temple, "If you don't mind, I
would like to rest for now. I can try to answer your questions in the morning,
perhaps?"
>Kim says, "Yes, yes, of course. I'm..afraid all we have are pews here for
beds."
>Ryan nods to Bell-sama. "... Sounds like a plan. D'ya mind if I camp here
tonight as well? Just to make sure nobody tracks down my home..."
>Kim nods to Ryan, "We have plenty of beds....and company is so nice to have
right now."
>Ryan takes a seat on a pew, setting the blaster on the ground, and falling over
on his back.
>Belldandy smiles and stands up straight, "My name is Belldandy. Goddess First
Class, sent here to examine the sudden surge of spiritual activity in this
area." She looks at each of you in turn, "I'll be doing my best to help you
all, not just because of my job, but Esmerelda has managed to annoy me..not an
easy feat, I assure you."
>Ryan rubs his temple . o O ( Am I some sort of wierdness magnet or
something? )
>Kim smiles at Belldandy, "Understandable though."
>Ryan chimes in, "She's an expert at annoyance, that's for sure..."
>Kim. o O (God IS watching over us) ^_^
>Cloud says, "... I see." He smiles faintly. "Thank you, miss..."
>Belldandy nods and looks at Kim, her smile becoming slightly sad for a moment
>Janus turns his head towards Belldandy a moment after, and nods towards her.
He says nothing though, but at least shows some measure of respect, yet not too
much. He feels he has been neglected by the gods far too much to care to do
too much for them, unfortunatly. (OOC: Sorry, that is kinda how my char feels.
^_^;) He turns his head away afterwards, and resumes watching his sister.
>Belldandy asks, "(OOC) That's because you stopped going to Sunday School when
you were little, Janus! See what you get now?"
>Kim says, "You're welcome to stay here as long as you like, Miss Belldandy."
>Ryan sighs quietly, and promptly drifts off into sleep. Talk about long days...
