Odin Street Church: Sanctuary(#1639RA)
The tall stained glass windows of the old building flood the room with a soft
light. Your ears hear every creak and bend as you step across the old wooden
floor. This once joyous place of worship has recently been cleaned,
refurbished, and remodeled into a fine place to live. The floors are dust
free, the pews are in straight lines, and even some of the old wood has been
removed and replaced. Electric lights hanging overhead hum with energy,
glowing at night, thanks to a small white generator located in the corner. A
personal computer is also located in that corner as well, with a sticker on the
side 'Property of Skuld'. A portion of the wooden floor is still broken away,
revealing a patch of wild flowers growing in the center of the room. It's a
cute little addition to the quaint atmosphere here.

Odin Street Church: Bedroom(#1886RA)
Hardly one'd expect to see a bedroom in a church, but there it is.. It's
obviously only just started out, as there is evidence of repair work being
done. Sawdust lies in little piles in a corner of the room and along the edges,
fresh cedar wood replacing the rotted wood that termites had chewed through. To
the right of the area that's been marked for a set of doors is a round table
made of mahogany, dusty and beaten up, but also in the process of repair. Four
chairs are placed, upside down, on this table. By the window, which overlooks
the cemetary, leaning against the wall are two raggedy mattresses with just
enough stuffing to be comfortable. The room itself, once you look around, is
fairly large, as if it had been a library at one point. Instead of books,
however, it seems to be plates and silverware on the shelves mostly. A dark
navy rug covers the wide area of the floor, with silver 'stars' woven into the
rug, resembling a starfield.

Odin Avenue [500]
Some of the homes here, unlinke those to the west, appear to have been erected
in rather recent years. Though larger than their elder counterparts, and
containing more modern accomidations, they are no less stylish and do not
detract from the appearance of their neighbours. The contrast might even be
considered healthy. Immediately to the east, a turn north and south and
estates with large mansions bordering it on the eastern edge of the walk mark
the end of Odin Avenue. Also, to your south here, through some wrought iron
gating..is quite oviously a cemetary. It isn't spooky as you think one should
be..far from it..it seems a peaceful, sunny area to be laid to rest.

Odin Avenue is part of the zoned residential area of Midgaard, and there is no
doubt that Odin Avenue, the east side, is for the old fashioned. Historical
old homes, some still lived in, some for sell, and some in various stages of
degrade, neglect, and disrepair, can be found here for a modest sum for the
average salary of a Midgaardian. The Midgaard Housing Agency also makes it
easier to set up a plan for you to own your own home. [OOC: In other words,
contact Bahamut for linking your home to this street.] A grocery store,
allowed to be here mearly for the convenience of the locality by the city
ordinance, takes up approximately two houselengths on the south side of the
avenue..customers move in and about getting the items they need for daily
survival.

The old, antiquish homes of Eastern Odin part ways for a moment, to let more

see..farther east, some of the older plots have yielded to newer, larger
structures surrounding what appears to be a forested area.

City Square
Welcome to the middle of the sleepy (yeah, right), humble mountain city of
Midgaard. The peaks that surround the somewhat smallish sprawl of
constructions about you appear a vibrant, cool purple at this distance..capped
with off-white snow at the tops. Although the town itself recieves little
precipitation from being sheltered by this atol of sheer rock, a cold wind does
comb and filter its way through..providing a brisk, though arid, atmosphere.
On the southwestern pointing end of town, a small, manmade pass in the
mountain valley allows for easy access from the bustling world outside. To
your north and west are the commercial districts..manufacturing, shipping, and
selling various consumable goods. In the east, to the 'horizon', appear to be
homes of various architectural influences..the more wealthy of said houses
bordering a small alpine lake and park. To the south, the middle-class homes
continue, thinning out just before the open gap to the highway beyond.
As for where you stand..it is the Midgaard City Square..Several government
offices and the larger buildings can be found on the sides of the slightly
misnomered elliptical, cobblestoned intersection. No actual automobile traffic
passes here, being routed through the side streets..this is a strictly
pedestrian and bicycle zone. A large, granite fountain with a statue of Odin
atop it towers nearly two stories prominantly in the center. There are also
benches about for taking a quiet repose from the hustle of daily life.

** Walk cut **
You walk into the Seventh Heaven, noticing a sign on the door that reads,
"Officially closed, death in the family. Will reopen soon." However, the door
is unlocked.
Seventh Heaven Bar - Main Room
Tifa's Seventh Heaven Bar has a campy feeling to it, primarily constructed of
dark wood with occasional items for decoration. Several worn tables grace the
area near the door, looking beaten up from years of patrons. The bar is more
well kept, stocked with a vast amount of alcoholic beverages and components for
mixed drinks. The room is just a tad dimly lit, feeling cozy and familiar at
the same time. Other areas of interest are the entrance to the kitchen, and a
porch with some comfy chairs. All in all, the Seventh Heaven is a nice tribute
to what someone can put together for a business if they try. A machine for a
game similar to pinball sits on the less used side of the room, sporting an
"Out of Order" sign. Most of the damage that was obvious only a little while
ago is now repaired with more permenant fixes, so the bar once again is back to
it's former self.

managed to find Lyrae, she says she doesn't know where Kim is..."

she did before..."
>Cloud says, "Before...? Wait. What happened at Sensou Enterprises the other

>Ryan shakes his head. "I... I'm not entirely sure. I was knocked out, remember?"

>You mumble, "But Lyrae was under their control... and somehow, Kim was actually
released - by Esmerelda. Or so she told me." to Cloud.

Tyr Road..though you'll definately appreciate the higher quality. At a point
up ahead, the road and street becomes an unpaved trail, towards the start of
the steep walls that the mountain atol surrounding Midgaard creates. A deep
gorge carved by forces long forgotten and lost to legend is to the west
here..and a suspension bridge has been erected so that pedestrians might take a
stroll across it to Sif Way to the east, and marvel at it.

You walk into the Seventh Heaven, noticing a sign on the door that reads,
"Officially closed, death in the family. Will reopen soon." However, the door
is unlocked.
Seventh Heaven Bar - Main Room
Tifa's Seventh Heaven Bar has a campy feeling to it, primarily constructed of
dark wood with occasional items for decoration. Several worn tables grace the
area near the door, looking beaten up from years of patrons. The bar is more
well kept, stocked with a vast amount of alcoholic beverages and components for
mixed drinks. The room is just a tad dimly lit, feeling cozy and familiar at
the same time. Other areas of interest are the entrance to the kitchen, and a
porch with some comfy chairs. All in all, the Seventh Heaven is a nice tribute
to what someone can put together for a business if they try. A machine for a
game similar to pinball sits on the less used side of the room, sporting an
"Out of Order" sign. Most of the damage that was obvious only a little while
ago is now repaired with more permenant fixes, so the bar once again is back to
it's former self.

Intersection: Thor/Tyr
This intersection is relatively nice, if not for the lingering darkness to the
west on Thor Street. Luckily, all the streetlamps here are replaced
regularly..any graffiti is cleaned up almost immediately..and a neighbourhood
police patrol keeps an eye out for any shifty and suspicious types wandering
about. To the east, Thor Boulevard is a much more lively and light
place..housing many people in small housing complexes, and a few larger,
upper-middle class homes. To the South, Tyr Road continues in that direction,
with a mixture of hotels and apartment buildings. To the north, it seems to
disperse at an obscure point..though a few eateries catering to myriad tastes
can be seen.

Fenris Drive [200]
Fenris Drive is the home of those..questionable wealthy individuals and
families. They keep to themselves in their lush, private abodes..thus, the
fences and stone walls here are all tall, and unforgiving. Some of the gates
have high-tech security systems attached to make sure noone unwelcome may
enter. Who knows what goes on inside those large houses? But one thing's for
sure..the residents of Fenris Drive are rarely seen in public. To the west,
you can see the intersection where Fenris meets with its 'cousin',
Heimdall..and directly to the east, the street and road yields to the iron
fencing surrounding a large borealic park and lake.

>Kim is on the ground on her hands and knees next to Lyrae, who's laying
unconscious. Both are pretty badly beaten up...actually VERY badly beaten up.
It's hard to tell which looks worse.
>Ryan runs in, with Cloud and Kazuma (of all people) in close pursuit. He skids
to a halt as he spys Kim and Lyrae. "...!?"
>Four floors up the Sensou building, the entire wall has been taken out by a
nasty bomb, The tree's nearest there look like the branches were completely
broken by someone's fall.
>Ryan charges over to the girls. "What the hell happened!?"
>Cloud says, "...!" as he dashes over to the girls.
>Kim says, "Lyrae...Lyrae wake up." crying over her unconscious friend.
>There's movement coming from the building as six guards come running out. They
don't honestly expect the two girls to be alive, but they want to make sure.
"There they are!" "Looks like one's dead.." "Get the other one!"
>Ryan barks out to Cloud, "COVER THEM! You got the heal materia!" He dashes for
the guards as fast as he can, fist first, of course.
>Cloud nods, pulling out his sword as a preventive measure, as he slowly calls
on the power of the cure materia...
>Kim has more injurys than you might believe. How she's even moving is a
mystery.
>Naturally. The guards break off into groups of three (2 per group, three
groups), to gang up on any who feel like getting pounded. Or vice versa as the
first group engages Ryan, falling back from the assault.
>Kim passes out as the pain killers finally wear off. Ouch.
>Kim has disconnected.
>Kazuma pauses, hearing 'heal' and assuming Cloud can treat them somehow. Noting
Ryan taking the direct approach, he decides to go for something different.
Running up to the third group, he makes a fuss by acting completely...normal.
Well, for a person who's just seen a terrorist bombing. Pointing in another
direction, he says shakily, "S...some of my friends were hurt in the blast
over there...y...you guys...you gotta call an ambulance for them!"
>Ignoring Cloud's large sharp steak knife, two other guards immediately rush
them. The third group stare at Kazuma like he's a dork, then aim their guns at
him, "GET out of here kid!" While the first group decide to use their knifes to
give Ryan a haircut.
>Ryan decides enough is enough. Time to show these jokers what happens when you
torque off a certain mister Ryan Tabbot! He crouches suddenly during his run,
using his momentum to then spring up, high in the air... easily 20 feet. He
extends his two feet as he comes down (hopefully) on one of the pairs of
guards. "Ryan's special 'Raining Pain Crane Kick'!" How handy of them to break
up into pairs, take down two at once this way.
>Cloud casts Cure, a large green glow surrounding Kim first. seeing as he
doesn't have ALL materia. (WAAAH!)
>( One guard takes the full kick from Ryan, while the other guard dodges to one
side, running up behind him with his dagger, swinging it at his back. )
>Ryan lands on the ground... er, well, after he lands on the guards head... with
a soft *wfft*. His reaction time is put to the test as the second guard swings
the dagger at him. Fortunately (for Ryan), in landing, he ended up crouched (to
avoid shattering his hip), leaving his a little time to raises his right
forearm in the path of the peon's dagger! It solidly strikes his armored glove,
cutting through it, and slightly into his wrist... but nowhere near as bad as
the guard was hoping, I imagine. "You SO did not want to do that. BOOT TO THE
HEAD!" *high kick*
>Kazuma mocks surprise, and raises both hands (though one is palming a yo-yo).
"G...guys...I just need help...I mean..." He tries to look as pitiful and
normal as possible, just another pedestrian caught in the destruction. One who
happens to be between them and Cloud. Then he looks over at Ryan and goes,
"Maybe you should help those guys?"
>Ryan seems to be enjoying himself. Nothing gets the blood going like picking on
peons, yup.
>*sweatdrop* Boot to the head? Okay... The guard recoils quickly, off balnace as
his nose is *whiffed* by the kick, narrowly missing, and a good thing too,
because the doctor bills are a bitch and aren't covered by the company. He
grabs for the leg however, and aims a swift rabbit punch at Ryan's midsection.
The other group, facing Kazuma, eye him warily, "They can handle themselves."
The poke at him with their guns, "Get a move on."
Cloud starts another cure spell for Lyrae. Please get me more time. x.x
>Ryan erks. These peons are better trained than they look. He HATES it when that
happens. He takes the punch to the stomach - oooh! look! his eyes are bugging
out! - only to grab the guard's punching arm with his left hand. A sharp *tug*,
and a slight movement of the gaurd's arm, and Ryan's giving this guy one
helluva headbutt.
>Kazuma waits for the poke, twisting his body to avoid the barrel and unleashing
the palmed yo-yo. With a snap, he makes a loop with the string, attempting to
get it around the poker's wrist. At the same time he steps, cutting the
string's slack and putting the goon between him and his co-workers.
>Lyrae lies silently as the healing energies of the materia heal her wounds, and
she breathes easier. The guards are not so lucky as Ryan and the guard se eye
to eye.. er.. head to head.. with a loud *CRACK*. The guard recoils, dizzily,
and keels over. Reinforcements arrive as the group that had been heading for
Cloud break off and start back towards Ryan. At least one does anyway. Firing
hot lead as he does.
>Ryan hopes the dazed guard let go?
>The poker's wrist get snagged, certainly, and again is put between his
coworkers and Kazuma. However, there were -two- guards. The other guard
narrows his eyes and places his gun at the small of Kazuma's back. And yes, the
dazed guard let go x.x
>Cloud stands up, turning around to hold his sword in both hands, watching for
any more guards.
>Ryan immediately does about 6 backflips in a row, to get out of the line of
fire. Ryan may be the macdaddy here, but he sure as hell ain't bullet-proof.
"Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut!" o.o
>Kazuma OOC moved so as to put guard 1 between guard two and himself?
>Lyrae (OOC) thought you were talking about the other guards x.x Okay
*scratches that last part out*

>Cloud says, "(OOC) Come on, Yo-Yo Man, show them your stuff. n.n"
>The Poker is snagged, his buddy and one other head for Cloud. After all, it's
just a little kid with a *snerk* yoyo. This guy has a steak knife! The other
guard, one recovering from that kick earlier, continue advancing on Ryan,
though they conserve their bullets until they get closer.
>Ryan crouches low again, once he finishes backing up. Always make yourself a
smaller target against firearms. "You guys are really starting to cheese me
off!" . o O ( Maybe it's time to use that trick Vega 'showed' me... why not.)
Ryan immediately springs forward towards one of the guards advancing towards
him, fist first, like a human torpedo!
>Cloud twirls his so-called steak knife, leaping swiftly to slash at the
aforementioned guards.
>Kazuma takes the yo-yo (the spike elongating to make a servicable hammer), and
swings it quickly around sides and shoulders like you might a bo staff. In this
case, however, the hammer part is set to thunk the fellow at each pass. One
pass on each side of the snagged fellow as it dances around Kazuma. Then a roll
over the shoulder to the head, for good measure. Kazume grins...then
smirks...then looks altogether different. "Pickin' on the ladies..." The hammer
twirls twice around his arm to come up towards the nether regions between the
guard's legs. "...is _not_ cool."
>The guards chasing after RYan suddenly skid to a stop; and scatter; but two
aren't so lucky; they'll take the Ryan-torpedo head on x.x; The second group of
guards dodge to one side, while his companion is less than lucky, as hie takes
a shallow cut across the chest and falls back, groaning in pain. His partner
jumps at Cloud with a knife, stabbing at the side.
>Cloud turns smoothly, both to avoid the stab and to whack the guard with the
pommel of his sword.
>Being snagged like a drunken marionette, the guard is a bit too baffled to even
react, fairly safe untl that last move that send the man down to his knees x.x
His gloves, unlike the others, are equipped with materia, and he uses it
quickly, casting Lightning on his opponent.
>*WHACK* The guard is dazed, but only just, as he steps back and begins firing
at Cloud.
>Ryan plows through the two afore-mentioned guardsmen; between, them actually,
knocking them more off-balance then doing any real damage, at this point. He
lands, spinning on one foot to face the two guards. "Just so you know, I
recently went to a Jackie Chan film festival, and... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!"
Ryan looks at the two guard's feet in an expression of utter horror!
>Since the guard is really still kinda close to him, Cloud moves in quickly with
the guard, moving to the side as he slashes at the guard's belly. Guns...
useless against close combat!
>Kazuma vaults to his feet, jumping backwards in a flip and landing in a roll.
The flash of light from above combined with the whiff of ozone told him that
where he was standing might not be a good place. Since his opponent's wrist is
still snagged, he pulls at the string attempting to drag him into the place he
stood a second ago. Maybe he'll like it better that Kazuma would.
>( One guard is actually stupid enough to look down at Ryan's yell, go figure.
"What? WHAT??" His partner gives him a dirty look. "Moron." And rushes Ryan
low, shifting to a slide and kicking out at his legs. The guard leaps
backwards, thanking whatever gods are looking down on him that the sword so
narrowly missed. The guard who DID get slashed however, pulls out a magnum and
starts firing all around at randomg. There really IS no such thing as 'friendly
fire'. While in the background there's the sound of an 'AUGH!' as a guard gets
fried by his own spell x.x x.x )
>Kazuma stands, pulling in the slack of the yo-yo ball and flashing the sizzling
guard a smirk and a 'v'-sign. "All flash...no substance." He pauses a moment,
making sure the fellow isn't likely to move as he swings the ball 'round his
head...lasso-style.
>Ryan drops even lower then he did before, to his knees, sweeping out with right
leg at the moron guard's feet. "Sucker!" There's the still the problem of the
other guard... Ryan pushes his open left palm at the charging guard's abdomen,
with luck using the momentum, and Ryan's strength, to simply heft him over Ryan
(c) (With Kung-Fu grip) 's head, and a nice landing on his back; an involuntary
flip, if you will. With luck, this will give Ryan time to get back to his feet.
>Oh he's down for the count all right. Ouchie.
>The moron goes *WHOOPS* as he hits the ground, dropping his gun
which...unfortunately, joins the first's in the term of 'friendly fire' as it
goes off. As the guard charging Ryan gets flipped, more bullets go flying past
as he hits the ground.
>Cloud spins up around the guard who's shooting, grabbing his gun hand (assuming
the guard's shooting with his right hand) and yanking it upwards...
>Birds fall dead from the sky as the gun is force, firing, upwards.
>Ryan repeats his prior trademarked 'git the hell outta Dodge' series of flips,
this time rolling along the ground, in hopes of getting away from flying lead.
>Very soon the sound of *clikclikclik* "@#*&$(@&$(@&$@" is heard. Awww..no mo'
buwwets...

>Cloud introduces the guard to the hilt of his sword. Go to sleep.

*THUD* Down he goes.

>Kazuma hefts the ball with a grunt...somewhere between a rodeo and a shot-put.
The ball's aimed at the temple of one of the fellows in Dodge (where Ryan was
getting the hell away from). If his head snaps just right, it'll bounce off of
his head into the other fellow's head. We'll see, won't we?
>Ryan leaps back to his feet. How many peons are still standing that aren't
occupied by Cloud or Kazuma?
>There are two guards left; one with a slashed tummy, the other staring at his
empty gun. o O ( #$$.. Knew I shoulda got more clips.. ) He doesn't even see
the ball coming as he gets -WHACKed_ with it, but good x.x He shakes his head,
wobbling right into Ryan, "Mother?" While the remaining guard, keeping a hand
pressed again his bleeding stomach, casts another succession of spells, this
time sending flames to do his dirty work.
>Ryan blinks as the guard wobbles right into him. Christmas! Elbow to the back
of the head = one downed guard.
>Christmas came early didn't it? Down he goes *THUD*
>Which leaves one left. Poor guy..
>Cloud looks around for anyone else. All gone?
>Ryan is in-da-house! Boo-yeah! Only one left... Cloud's got 'im cove- d'oh!
Magic!
>Kazuma runs towards Lyrae and Kim, then leaps into a dive. It might be a trick
of the light...you're not sure...but it almost looked like the simmering wall
of heat...bent a little bit when he interposed himself between them and the
guard. At the very least, it looks like none of the fire, or even the
superheated air, hurt them any more.
>The remaining guard ignores Ryan and Cloud (bad idea ne?) and glares at Kazuma
in sheer annoyance, unsheathing a machete from his belt and rushing the lad.
Cloud starts dashing for that aforementioned guard, praying to reach him in
time. Though the yo-yo boy seems well-able to take care of himself.
>Ryan doesn't give said guard time to act; Ryan draws both his arms back,
inhaling deeply... right before throwing them forward, almost faster then the
eye can follow, with a piercing KIAI! A rippling pressure wave flies from his
hands towards the soon-to-be-beaten guard!
>Kazuma swats his bum, taunting the fellow...when he comes into range, he takes
his back foot into a sweep on the ground, kicking up dirt and debris into the
lonely guard's face. Then he waits with the mallet...
>Kind of anticlimatic as the guard stops short, raising a hand defensively to
shield away the dirt and debris -- only to take the pressure right in the side,

to Cloud and says, "You play bad cop. I'll play good cop." Then he hmmmmm.
"Oh...wait...they beat up two nice girls, didn't they? Let's _both_ play bad
cop!"
>Cloud nods quietly, cracking his knuckles.

any other gaurd who's planning on standing up.

standing (so to speak) guard, if I recall
>Kazuma looks around, scoping for trouble while Cloud interrogates. "This is
probably _not_ the best place for these two to take a nap. Blondie, can you
smack this loser into oblivion and we'll question him later?"
>Ryan looks at Kazuma. "We don't want to bring him back to a safe place... but

>The guard smirks, taking steps away from the group, "Don't bother, you won't
get anything out of me."
>Kazuma nods. "Oh, you're right." He grins. "I'd like to bring him to a very
_unsafe_ place. But the ladies come first."
>Kazuma waves a hand towards the guard. "Did we ask you a question? No. Someone,
hit him please?"
>Cloud pulls the guard back closer, you're not leaving! And promptly slugs the
Guard like Kaz says.
>Ryan obliges, giving the guard a very dereogatory clonk on the noggin'
tag-team bonking!

>Kazuma looks over at Cloud, speaking quickly. "You were doing something to help

>Cloud slings the guard over his shoulder, looking back. "Back to the bar?" he

>Cloud looks over at them... "I think they should be fine."
>( As the guard is slung over Cloud's shoulder, he raises his hand to his mouth,
biting at a ring on his left finger. )
>Kazuma looks at the unconscious guard. "I don't plan on offing him, and I don't
want him leading anyone anywhere. But don't tell him that."
>Ryan nods to Kazuma. "Yeah, we don't want to take him to a safe place, in case
he - WHAT's HE UP TO?!"
>Up to? Him? Why nothing.. just because he suddenly downs the contents of
whatever was in the ring doesn't mean he was up to anything. And just becuase
he then goes into a series of convulsions doesn't mean he was up to anything.
Oh and just because he then keels over, dead doesn't mean he..oh well may that
was coincidence.

before more goons show up."

You walk into the Seventh Heaven, noticing a sign on the door that reads,
"Officially closed, death in the family. Will reopen soon." However, the door
is unlocked.
Seventh Heaven Bar - Main Room
Tifa's Seventh Heaven Bar has a campy feeling to it, primarily constructed of
dark wood with occasional items for decoration. Several worn tables grace the
area near the door, looking beaten up from years of patrons. The bar is more
well kept, stocked with a vast amount of alcoholic beverages and components for
mixed drinks. The room is just a tad dimly lit, feeling cozy and familiar at
the same time. Other areas of interest are the entrance to the kitchen, and a
porch with some comfy chairs. All in all, the Seventh Heaven is a nice tribute
to what someone can put together for a business if they try. A machine for a
game similar to pinball sits on the less used side of the room, sporting an
"Out of Order" sign. Most of the damage that was obvious only a little while
ago is now repaired with more permenant fixes, so the bar once again is back to
it's former self.

lots of bottles of whatever you need.
>Ryan whips out one of those mother-bear swiss army knives. "Stupid question.
But the've both been shot."

>Cloud heads behind the bar to fetch a bottle of JD.
>Kazuma hollars, "First aid kit? Anywhere?"
>Ryan gets out a napkin. "If you can hear me, this'll hurt for just a moment..."
He unfolds the knife.
>Kazuma hears, and responds from the other room, "If they've been shot, they're
going to need medical attention! Know a doctor that you trust?"
>Ryan shouts to the other room, "Not in this town!"

>Cloud says, "Yes, under the bar!" after Kazuma. He pulls out the kit. "Wait,
Ryan, try the tweezers!"
>Ryan says, "The wounds are deep... I'll try, though."
>Cloud tosses the kit over to Ryan.
>Kazuma pulls up the kit and runs over, pouring some medical alcohol on the
knife and tossing Ryan a sterile bandage as he begins to unload stuff.
>Ryan digs out the first bullet, in Kim's leg. Good thing she's unconscious...
>Kazuma checks Lyrae for entry and exit wounds, trying to figure out how many
bullets are in here.
>Ryan . o O ( There were at least four in Kim... )
>Ryan takes out the second, setting it aside, and bandaging this wound as well.
>Kazuma says, "Christ! If she were a pipe, she'd be illegal by reason of high
lead content. Blondie, if you aren't doing anything, help me apply some
pressure here."
>Ryan takes out a bullet in Kim's arm . o O ( Damn... that one went into the
bone. )
>Cloud brings back the bottle of whiskey, placing it in front of Ryan before
heading over to... um, pressing matters.

>Kazuma's applying bandages to keep the bleeding under control until the swiss
army can remove the bullets.
>Ryan takes out another (last?) bullet. "... I wonder how they got out at all...
And what caused the explosion?"
>Kazuma says, "Probably one of these two."
>Ryan asks, "Yeah... but how?"
>Kazuma exclaims, "Good reason to keep them alive! So we can ask them!"
>Ryan grumbles at that as he bandages up the last bullet wound.

>Cloud peers over at Kazuma as he continues to press. He looks over at Ryan.
"Cure again?" meaning Kim.
>Ryan nods. "All the bullets should be out." He gestures at the bloody pile of
lead.

>Kazuma waves Ryan over. "Two in the right shoulder, another in the side, one in
the right hip and one in the left leg, near the knee."
>Ryan turns, walking over to Kazuma and Lyrae. "Those two in the shoudler look
bad... cracked the bone."
>Cloud is applying pressure to Lyrae's wounds, trying to reduce the bleeding.
>Ryan blinks, looking up, and over. "...!?" O.o
>Kazuma answers Ryan first. "Can you do anything?"
>Ryan nods. "Just make sure to bandage this IMMEDIATELY afterwards." He wipes
the knife in alcohol, quickly popping out the first, then second bullet.
>Kazuma presses down _hard_ after the bullets are removed. He's sweating
slightly. "Have I mentioned yet how disgusting this is?"
>Ryan says, "Not yet, no..."
>Cloud nods, letting go of Lyrae. Think she'll keep. He stands up, walking
towards Kim, already digging out the Cure materia.
>Ryan wipes the knife, reapplying alcohol, and takes out the bullet in the hip
and side
>Kazuma says, "Consider it mentioned." He pauses, waiting a moment before taping
down the bandage. "You two are going to have to tell me your names, because I
don't want to be calling you 'Blondie' and 'hey you!' if there's some
emergency."
>Ryan smirks, if only for a moment. "Ryan Tabbot, archaeologist. And I think he
prefers 'spikey'."
>Cloud doesn't answer, already concentrating on casting Cure on Kim.
>Ryan takes out the bullet in the hip. "That should be all of them..."
>What abut the one in the left knee? c.c
>Kim's wounds seal up as the spell is cast
>You... uh... missed when I posed that that one out. Yeah, that's the ticket

>Kazuma says, "Nice to meet you; Ryan, Spikey." After a cursory examination, he
says quietly, "Lyrae here also has a nice lump on her noggin."
>Cloud looks back at Kazuma. "It's Cloud. Cloud Strife." He casts a dark look
at Ryan.
>Ryan says, "Can't do much for that with this..."
>Ryan flashes another smirk, but this disappears quickly as well.
>Kazuma says, "Your last name is _Strife_?" He notes without turning from his
duties, "Cloud Strife's not a name, it's an oxymoron."
>( Lyrae bends her leg and *pop* )
>Cloud says, "... oxymoron?" It's never occured to him before.
>Ryan doesn't comment. He promptly bandages Lyrae's knee.
>Lyrae takes about as much note of all this as Kim does.
>Kazuma says, "Cloud implies happy floaty smiley things. It's a good hippy name.
Strife's the opposite. It's what you name the offspring in an unplanned
pregnancy." Kazuma talks a lot when he's busy or people are stressed. It's not
usually distracting, but it keeps you from getting stuck up on how damn serious
this all is.
>Cloud says, "... ... ...?"
>Ryan takes a step back, looking Lyrae over for any untended wounds.
>Ryan (OOC) *snicker*
>Lyrae (OOC) LAUGHS at Kazuma
>Kazuma says, "You got the one in the knee, right? She should be ok then."

bar. She'll freak.
>Ryan says, "Remove anything tight, though, to improve circulation."
>Kazuma exclaims, "I knew this night wouldn't be a total waste!"

>Kazuma says, "Joke! Joke!" He removes belts and loosens what can be loosened,
but doesn't remove anything.
>Ryan takes a seat, exhaling. "... Now we wait for them to wake up."
Cloud says, "... Maybe I'll see if Tifa has any spare clothes for them."
>Kazuma nods. "And...well, I'm going to wash my hands."
>Cloud nods, walking upstairs to search.
>Ryan blinks, looking down at his own now stained hands. That little cut he got
before is looking a lot better in comparison.
>Kazuma washes up, keeping an eye out. "So, what was that...Spikey looked like
he was doing something heremetic?"
>Ryan raises an eyebrow.
>Kazuma says off-handed, "Bullet holes don't heal like that, even if you eat
your wheaties."
>Cloud asks, "(OOC) Whoops, did I forget to do Lyrae?"
>Yes you did x.x
>Kazuma OOC "I had thought it implicit in one of the earlier posts, but I could
be mistaken."
>Ryan says, "Oh, you meant hermetic-magical, rather then hermetic-sealed...
Yeah, apparently Cloud's got some sort of magic."

towels to prop their heads up on.

Yuri
The extremely pretty young lady before you is wearing a /very/ daring outfit,
to say the least. Or a uniform, as the case is. Perhaps five and a half feet
tall, her long blue-black hair flows down to the small of her back, with a few
locks falling forefront to her shoulders. The top of her outfit is best
described as something between a halter and a bikini top with a small collar,
made of some type of yellow plastic looking material and lined in red. The
ensemble is cut DARINGLY low to reveal quite a bit of her ample bosom, her
fairly pale white skin contrasting with the bright material. The 'bottom' of
the outfit is very similar to a bikini bottom as well although a bit higher
upon her hips and slim waist. Like the top, the material here is a bright
yellow outlined in red and very form-fitting. A horizontal oval of sorts is
cut out of either side of the bottom, revealing a little more skin. A matching
yellow utility belt is about her waist, including a holster for her weapons and
other necessities. The remainder of the outfit is comprised of a pair of
ankle-high matching yellow boots, and an elbow- length glove upon just her
right arm. A pair of red bracelets adorn her left arm, one at the wrist and the
other near her shoulder, with a pair of diamond-shaped earrings upon each ear.
All in all, it's quite the revealing attire, taking into account her long legs
and slim, muscled stomach. Noting your appraisal, she turns her hazel eyes
upon you, winking. -.^

she realizes what he meant, "Oh that!" she giggles, her eyebrow twitching.
"Yeah, she's fine now, if as ill-tempered as ever."
>Kazuma is ogling Yuri, actually...until Lyrae moves, and he puts that process
painfully on hold. Ryan, if there's nothing you can do, enjoy the little things
in life! Ok, not so little. But I digress. "Glad to hear
it...oh, Ryan, we have a live one here..."
>Ryan says, "Yeah, I saw her yesterday. She ran off chasing some sort of
spaceship..."
>Ryan is watching Yuri quite closely, oh yes. Especially the moving parts.

>Yuri o_O "Spaceship?" she questions. Noticing Lyrae however, she swivels
towards her QUICKLY. Which does all sorts of interesting things for her outfit
anyway. From the look in her eyes and the twitch in her hand, however, it's
evident the self restraint she's showing at not drawing her blaster for some
reason or another
>Kazuma kneels down beside Lyrae, and says quietly, "Hey...hey, you're safe,
kid. Can you hear me?"

"She's drifting in and out, but she's definitely better."

bleeding's stopped."
>Yuri just grrrrrrrrs under her breath, twitching at the very sight of Lyrae.
Her fingers keep moving towards the handgun at her side, but just refrain from
unholstering it. Physically, at any rate. o O (How COULD she shoot my HAIR of
all things!? [Safety Off.])
>Ryan nods to Kazuma. "That's good to hea..." He glances at Yuri. "You okay?
You're all tense."
>Yuri, taking a breath or three, nods to Kazuma finally. "Yeah." she mutters.

>Lyrae twitches again, her hand moving move of its own will, towards the side of
her head, as she grimaces slightly, "...nhh..?"
>Kazuma grins and winks. ^_~ "Much appreciated. We spent a lot of time trying to
patch them up, you know. It's a workmanship thing."
>Yuri throws a rather sweet if frustrated seeming smile to Kazuma, "You're right
of course." she snaps her fingers suddenly, eyes blinking. "Thank you, by the
way, for your help with my partner the other night."
>Ryan turns to Yuri. "What exactly happened, anyway?"
>Lyrae registers voices. Actually Yuri's is the only voice she hears at that
moment. o O ( o.o )
>Kazuma waves a hand, then gestures at Lyrae. "Saving women in trouble is a
specialty...and one I quite enjoy. ^_^ Think nothing of it."
>Ryan smirks at Kazuma. "Hmmph, stop flirting with her, Kazuma." . o O ( That's
MY job. )
>Yuri grins at Kazuma, turning to Ryan in response. "Which part?" she asks in a
low, nervous voice. o O (Kei you didn't REALLY do this did you?)
>Ryan says, "All of it, actually... someone drugged me at the beginning." >.<

flirting with beautiful women when I'm dead." He turns back to Yuri. "Yeah,

>Yuri takes a step backwards, but contrary to the movement she smiles all the
more at him. "Really? I put some regenerative Cell-Grow shampoo on it last
night before soaking a bit." her cheeks dimple as she regards both Kazuma and

>Lyrae shifts slightly, muttering something under her breath at roughly the same
time Ryan looks at her.
