>Ryan is struck in the left shoulder by the lightning bolt, causing him to skid
to a halt, clutching his wounded appendage. Ryan takes a step back, and quips,
"Hey, that's cheating!" . o O ( Damn that hurt... )
>Janus resumes having his arm around Lyrae protectivingly, while glaring at
Kataki from his position.
>Kataki continues leaning against the wall himself, as he didn't even budge an
*inch*. "Who said I play fair?" he says, more as a statement, than a question.
He keeps his cold and serious face, while looking directly at Ryan, and keeping
his fingers upon the side of his sword.
>Ryan cracks his knuckles, and grins. "Well, before I beat your face in, what
exactly have you got planned for those two." He gestures back at Janus and Lyrae
>Kataki raises an eyebrow slightly, as he gains a smirk upon himself, "That
isn't any of your concern, now." Janus _glares_ at Kataki, as he asks, "What
_do you want_?" Kataki says simply, "Sensou Enterprises." Janus BLINKS at
Kataki.
>Ryan shrugs. "Worth a shot." He suddenly ducks low, sweeping for Kataki's legs
(assuming the elevator isn't THAT big, shouldn't be TOO hard. Theoretically.)
>Kataki laughs suddenly, as he sits on the handle on the side, while raising his
legs off of the ground. "My turn." He then KICKS his foot out directly towards
Ryan's chest at full force.
>Ryan curses in his head as Kataki evades the sweep, barely having time to move
his forearms in the path of his kick. The force does push his backwards a foot,
and knock him onto his back.
>Ryan . o O ( !%&@!6... Nice trick, though, gotta remember that )
>Kataki lands gently upon his legs again, as he shakes his head in
dissapointment. "You are challenging a proffesional. I have planned for this
occasion for three years now. Ever since Janus killed his own father." Janus
narrows his own eyes towards Kataki afterwards, not saying a word at that. . o
O ( Bastard. )
>Ryan grins again, rubbing his sore forearm, "Well, I've practiced a little
myself...
>Ryan stands up, and dusts himself off . o O ( I'm getting my butt kicked
here...) Ryan grins again, rubbing his sore forearm, "Well, I've practiced a

>Ryan mumbles, "..... presume ..... ..... is out of your ..... .." to
Janus.
>Janus mumbles, "There is one thing we can do. We must go to the roof. Occupy
him, and I can get us there." to Ryan.
>Janus mumbles, "There is one ..... we ..... ..... .. We ..... .....
..... ..... ..... .. ..... ..... him .. ..... ..... can get us
there .." to Ryan.
>Ryan nods to Janus . o O ( How the hell did I get involved inthis again? )

>Kataki laughs for a moment, and continues watching the two, "You haven't
practiced enough." He waves his hand for a moment, while saying, "Come on...
Give me your best try."
>Ryan crouches down. "If you insist." A short pause... then Ryan leaps forward
in a dramatic flying kick! (OOC note: If Kataki ducks, Ryan will attempt to
rebound off the walls of the elevator, kicking low or to the side)
>Kataki certainly doesn't duck, but instead he attempts to swerve off to the
side to grab onto Ryan's foot that is pointed forward and smash him into the
wall after. <-- Hes a nice guy. Really folks, he is.
>Ryan erks - wasn't expecting that! As Kataki gives a nice heave, Ryan uses his
arm to absorb the brunt of the 'swing', and brings his other leg up towards
Kataki's chin!
>Janus quickly sets Lyrae down gently upon the ground, and then he makes his way
off towards the panel to the side. Immediatly, he flips the key into it, and
turns while he presses the button for the roof. . o O ( I hope he didn't plan
for this. ) Kataki then seems to get kicked right into the chin, and is
smacked back against the wall after while the elevator goes up towards the
roof. That seemed almost too easy.
>Ryan is paying for the hit now, as Kataki lets go, and he plummets to the floor
O.o; *whud*
>Lyrae takes about as much notice of this as she would anything else right now.
None.
>Janus _looks_ at Kataki for a long period of time, before he then looks over
towards Ryan, and nods. "Get up, we are there." And, the elevator door opens
afterwards. He reaches down to try and pick up Lyrae once more, and lift her
off the ground.
>Ryan quickly scampers to his feet, backing a step or two away from Kataki. He
looks up, crouches down, and leaps for the door in the ceiling.
>Lyrae stirs slightly, flinching at her brother's touch, as her dark eyes snap
open, her eyes empty. She doesn't react any further, remaining dead weight as
her brother lifts her.
>Janus walks outside the doorway himself afterwards. He looks back towards
Kataki afterwards. Kataki opens his eyes slowly, and smiiiiiiiiiles. . o O (
It is all going according to plan. ) Janus nods afterwards towards Kataki, and
runs across the roof after with Lyrae within his arms.
>Janus offers to lead Lyrae.
>Lyrae falls in line behind Janus.
>Ryan follows Janus and Lyrae
>You fall in line behind Janus.
>Janus puts the key into the keyhole, and a red light turns on. He flips the
switch afterwards, and then pushes the 14th button, exiting onto the floor
afterwards.
Roof
Here as you step to the roof, you notice that the entire area is enclosed
within what appears to be a dome. Casting your gaze away from the sky, which
overs a view of the stars at night, you notice yet again, that this area seems
to be nothing but a private swimming pool for the owners of the building. The
pool takes up about thirty feet of the roof, with just enough space around it
for people to walk around if need be. A few benches are placed along the roof,
as well as a CD player and speakers, purely for entertainment needs. On a table
by the door is a white cellular telephone.

>Ryan rubs his shoulder. "...Now what?"
>Lyrae blinks once, then once again, seeing the sky past the enclosed dome of
the roof. Her breathing grows slightly erratic, as her mind retreats further
and further into herself.
>Ryan . o O ( Damn... she doesn't look good... )
>Janus points off towards two doors on the other end, "Get out there, now.
There is a helicopter there. If you look carefully through the glass, you can
see it." He is right, just past the doors, is a pad where a grey hellicopter
appears to be sitting, with the writting 'Sensou Enterprises' upon it.
>Ryan nods to Janus, and starts running for the helipad. He stops after just a
short distance, glancing over his shoulder, yelling, "C'mon, he said he had the
guards under his control, no time to wait!"
>Lyrae blinks again, shifting a bit uncomfortably.
>Janus quickly runs off towards the helicoptor himself as well, while he holds
Lyrae with him. He looks down towards her slowly, and then back forward once
more afterwards. He asks Ryan, "Do you know how to fly a helicoptor, though?"
>Ryan glances over his shoulder. "I've done it before." . o O ( Wasn't MY
fault it crashed, either. )
>Janus runs out the door afterwards, while nodding towards Ryan. He runs up
towards the helicopter, and opens the door immediatly. "Get on into the drivers
seat, then. The keys are allready in it." He gets into the back after, and
places Lyrae upon the ground. "My dear sister, we will survive. But, for now
we must depart. Soon, Kataki shall be punished," he mumbles to her.
>Lyrae lies on the ground, blinking blankly. She hesitates slightly, shrinking
back against the far side of the helicopter, and curling up, hugging her knees,
staring dead ahead with no change in her expression whatsoever.
>Ryan makes a flying leap into the drivers seat, buckling up in a few short
seconds. He starts the engine, causing a loud roar as the bladed rotor swings to life.
He yells back, to the crew cabin, "You two secure?"
>Lyrae doesn't respond.. just deeply terrified, and dimly aware, somewhere deep
down, that she's being moved around. However, she's incapable of any
intelligent responses (OOC glares at Janus. Don'tyou DARE say it.) for the time
being.
>Janus nods immediatly, and closes the door afterwards. "Lets go. Now," he says
simply, while buckling Lyrae in place, and moving towards the back himself
afterwards, towards a large box there.
>Ryan as soon as Janus buckles Lyrae in place, Ryan turns up the throttle, and
pulls back on the stick, as the helicopter lifts slowly into the air.
>Janus nods immediatly, and closes the door afterwards. "Lets go. Now," he says
simply, while buckling Lyrae in place, and moving towards the back himself
afterwards, towards a large box there.
>Lyrae lets her head hang forward limply, her hair falling in front of her face
like a dark shadow passing over her expression. Once more she blinks at her
lap, staring but not seeing her hands in front of her.
>Ryan pushes on the foot pedals, causing the helicopter to bank away from the
roof of the building. "Okay, we're away, now what?"
>Janus turns his head back slowly, and says, "Go faster. Kataki will send
hellicopters and planes after us." he faces forward afterwards, and lifts the
top of the box after, while searching through it slowly.
>Ryan sweats nervously . o O ( Lovely. Luckily I watched Ace fly one of these
before... )
>Ryan pulls away from the tower, taking the helicopter higher up. "Head for the
mountains?"
>Of course, almost an instant after Janus had said that, you may notice two
hellicopters suddenly come from around the building beside the one we are
currently in. Janus himself remains calm for some odd reason, though.
"Anywhere. Just fly."
>Ryan grins, and pulls back on the throttle, causing the helicopter to tilt
forward as it speeds up. "One step ahead of you."
>Lyrae tilts against her seatbelt, in far too much shock to react normally. She
just remains there, her reflexes kicking in enough to keep from jerking about
too much.
>Janus suddenly tugs out a large gun from inside the box, which appears to be
some sort of rocket launcher. "Fly away quickly, and I will remove those who
get in our way."
>Ryan nods, and pulls the helicopter a little higher as he speeds up. No reason
to go through one of those dramatic "between-the-narrow-buildings" scenes
they're so eager to use in movies.
>The other Helicopters rush after the group at a fast pace, as their own doors
open, and a gaurd stands upon the edge as they grip the side. They point a
handgun at the one Janus and co is in, and......suddenly see Janus coming out
of his own helicopter with the big darn rocket launcher. The gaurd BLINKS. . o
O ( HOLY @#%@#%@@!!!!!!!!!! ) And, DIVES back in to the helicopter as Janus
pulls the trigger.... Too bad the rocket missed the helicopter. Although,
while it tried to dodge, it kinda hit a building and blew up that way. Too bad.
>Ryan keeps the helicopter on a fairly steady coarse, at about 200 miles per
hour. There's some shaking, but everything seems to be holding up at this point.
>Janus isn't the least bit worried that the helicopter is in its extreme danger
zone for speed, as he points it at the other helicopter, and *BLAM*. This time
it hits. Unfortunatly, two PLANES zip in after them from behind. Although,
Janus is out of ammo, so he just drops the rocket launcher............. Which,
one of the planes are stupid enough to RUN RIGHT INTO IT. Whome, blows up
afterwards. Unfortunatly, there is one more left, which Janus won't be able to
get with any act like that.... He blinks for a moment, and gets back into the
helicopter immediatly. "Faster," he says simply, even though the helicopter can
barely handle this speed as it is.
>Ryan grits his teeth. "No way a copter can outrun an airplane..." Even so, he
pushes the throttle harder, the copter leans forward even more, and things
rattle ominously
>Janus nods slowly for a moment, as he says, "This is the new prototype model
Sensou Enterprises is designing. It is said to be unbeatable." He looks back
through the window afterwards, as he watches the plane carefully with a frown.
. o O ( Time for the test run. )
>Ryan tenses - every little motion on the control at this point causes large
aberrations in the flight path . o O ( Damn, really wish Brianna was here,
she'd have some spare weapons... )
>Lyrae picks up on the tension in the shaking helicopter, her hands bunching the
fabric of the skirt she wears, her lyre hanging around her neck.
>Janus nods for a brief moment, as he then says, "Crash into the mountains. We
have a better chance of surviving that way." He then moves over towards the
seat beside Lyrae, and sits down beside her, buckling himself up.
>Ryan yells out, "CRASH!? Can't I just, ah, take us down safely!?" The copter
wobbles from his lack of attention during the sudden shock.
>Janus nods towards Ryan, and answers, "Crash." He moves his hand along the side
of his seat afterwards, to the middle of between Lyrae and himself. Fiddling
in between there. "Now."
>Ryan gulps. "Hold on tight..." He pushes forward on the stick, as the copter
goes down low, likely to skid along the earth before blowing into flaming
rubble - !
>Lyrae blinks once again as tension rises, and she feels the helicopter shaking.
>Ryan unbuckles his seatbelt, and kicks the door open . o O ( Hope I slowed
us down enough... )
>Janus watches the outside carefully as the ground comes closer and closer.
And, just when the ground is about to hit the helicopter, he flips some switch
on the side of the seats, and both Lyrae and Janus smack up into the sky, the
seats ejecting. Within the sky, a parachute comes out and they slowly come
downwards to the ground below.
>Ryan leaps from the helicopter, ducking his limbs to avoid too much
skin-flaying . o O ( How come THEY get ejection seats!? ) Ryan hits the
ground HARD, rolling a good 30 feet, as the helicopter travels farther before
crashing in an orange fireball.
Top of Paozu Mountain
Standing at the top of Paozu Mountain, what a vestage of bueaty you can
see over the horizon. below, you can see trees, spreading miles around,
flowers, of a patch, just blooming. Far off you can see the vast size
of Satan City, even though it looks like some little toy, to you. The
thin steepness of this mountain puzzles you as well, seeing as the paths
we not that hard to walk on. The sereneness of this spot is inviting,
so much that, you might even want to stay a while.

>Lyrae stays frozen to her seat next to her brother as they're parachuted
towards the ground. Poor Ryan didn't think of hitting the eject button :)

>Ryan lies in a heap a good hundred feet down the slope
Lyrae is lucky she's in shock and doesn't see Ryan there. She'd have gone into
shock again.
>Derek comes skidding down an embankment (OOC:and kicking Sana off his leg,
"Leggo, for the last time, I don't want any cookies!"), "Hey! Lyrae!"
>Janus glides downwards towards the ground beside his own sister. He gazes over
towards her slowly, and says, "Everything we have lost, we will gain back." he
then pulls a hand gun out of his side, and loads it up, before putting it back
away. Then, the parachute lands upon the ground gently afterwards.
>Lyrae doesn't react to Derek's cry as the chairs hit the ground somewhat
roughly. She just sits there, her hands in her lap, her eyes empty of all
emotion, just staring silently and shaking, whispering words under her breath.
Her treasured lyre hangs around her neck.
>Sana-chan skiiiiiiiids down the slope, after being shaken off by Derek. She
freezes, her large brown eyes widening at the sight of Lyrae.
>Ryan moans quietly . o O ( Anyone... got some... bactine...? )
>Lyrae doesn't react to her brother's words either. Even if she could hear him
she wouldn't have said anything. No difference there. She just sits, staring
straight ahead with wide eyes, her hair tumbled about her face in disarray.
>Derek dashes over, then stops . o O ( Where'd that other guy go to..? ) He
scans the area, stopping for a moment on Lyrae and frowning. Then he spots Ryan
and runs over, reaching for his restore materia, "Yo, pal! Hang in there!"
>Ryan isn't GOING anywhere
>Janus sets a hand upon Lyrae's shoulder after a brief moment, and then unstraps
her from the seat afterwards. He unstraps himself, before standing up, and
facing Lyrae after. "Lyrae... We must get out of sight now. I will protect
you, my dear sister." he holds out his hand afterwards, and he then holds out
his hand afterwards towards her....waiting for her response.
>Sana-chan quietly approaches Lyrae, tears welling up. "Miss...?"
>Derek kneels down and touches Ryan's shoulder, "Cure..." The hand he holds the
materia in glows softly for a moment before fading, "Yo, can you hear me?"
>Lyrae doesn't move, staring straight ahead, her lips moving silently.
"...enshrouded in darkness.." she whispers, "The past returns.. to destroy the
present.." She continues whispers these words, far too quietly for them to be
heard even by someone close-by. She doesn't react to Sana, her shaking
continuing, not responding to a -thing-, her eyes and face emotionless.
>Ryan sits up, grumbling and rubbing his head. "Remind me... never to jump out
of a moving aircraft again..."
>Sana-chan reaches out to quietly touch Lyrae on the shoulder a bit. "Do you...
need help?"
>Lyrae jerks slightly as she feels Sana's touch on her shoulder. She lifts her
head, turning to look towards her, but not seeing her, her whispering
continuing, shivering silently.
>Derek smirks, "What the hell were you doing that for anyway!?"
>Janus's eyes blink slightly at Lyrae's words, and then he leans over to grasp
ahold of Lyrae's hand after, "It is _allright_, sister. Lets _go_." . o O (
Before _they_ come here. )
>Ryan rubs his back . o O ( Think I still have a cracked rib... ) "Ask
Janus."
>Sana-chan whispers, almost, "Miss? Maybe you should go to the hospital?" There
is none of her usual hyperactive demeanor. If nothing else, she's almost...
almost... shojo.
>Derek looks over his shoulder and nods, "If you need it, I'll cure you again
later." He stands and starts walking over, "So...you're Lyrae's brother?"
>Ryan stands up, dusting himself off . o O ( And my clothes are RUINED... )
>Lyrae moves then. The closeness is a bit too much for her, and she pulls back a
bit from Sana, and Janus as well. Heck she doesn't know who he is right now.
Just knows that she's scared to _DEATH_. She blinks again, glancing towards
Sana with a heap of confusion, suspicion, terror (in more ways than one ^_-),
emptiness. She doesn't say a word now, just staring straight at, and through,
the younng girl.
>Janus looks over towards Sana slowly, as he frowns, "She doesn't need a
hospital. Leave, child. This is no place for children." he then moves his
head over to Derek and nods, "I am he." before moving it back to Lyrae slowly,
"Lets go, my dear sister. You know you can trust me... I have saved you once
before, have I not?"
>Sana-chan's eyes are perfectly wide open, watching Lyrae with compassion and
sympathy. She blinks, looking at Janus, tilting her head, putting her hands to
her hips. Well! What a SNOB!
>Ryan scampers up the slope. "Hey, HEY! Not so fast! I want answers!"
>Lyrae turns her head away from Sana, looking at Janus' hand silently. Still she
doesn't move. If she could she would though.
>Derek pauses and looks at Lyrae, then Janus, "Let me guess...Kataki?"
>Ryan chimes in before Janus, "Apparently"
>Sana-chan starts to scamper down the mountain. "Okay, I'll call
theparamedics!!!" she shouts back in a loud voice.
>Janus keeps his hand over towards Lyrae, as he says, "I apologize to you for
believing Kataki at first. You were right. We may of lost the company, but at
least we still have one another, my sister. That, shall never change. Kataki
will not take your life while I still stand. Now, Lyrae... We must go before
he comes here with the new team."
>Derek glances back at Ryan, nods, and lifts up his hand with the materia in it,
"Either of you hurt at all..?"
>Ryan shakes his left arm . o O ( Still a bit sore for that bastard Kataki's
lightning bolt ) "I'm fine."
>Lyrae quietly says, "..."
>Sana has left.
>Janus closes his eyes for a moment, understanding Lyrae's reaction. "Allright,
if you insist." He leans over and picks up Lyrae immediatly, and turns to
Derek. "Injuries are the least of our worries. We must go. Now."
>Derek nods, "Come on, there's another path down this side..away from the main
path."
>Lyrae still hasn't moved an inch from her chair. Looks like her voluntary
reflexes and such have shut down.
>Janus tried to pick you up, Lyrae. :)
>Lyrae is in no position to argue :)
>Derek frowns, "Lyrae?" He narrows his eyes a little . o O ( She must be in
shock...again... )
>Lyrae doesn't respond. She's in as deep a shock as she can get.
>Janus looks over towards Derek, and says simply, "She will be fine later. Lets
go."
>Ryan walks up behind Janus. "Will you please tell me what the heck happened
there?"
>Janus gazes over towards Ryan, and says, "Kataki happened. We have no time. I
would give them another three or four minutes until they are here."
>Ryan frowns, and scans the horizon
>The sound of the paramedics can be heard in the background.
>You fall in line behind Derek.
>Janus falls in line behind Derek.

Tyr Road [300]
The apartment buildings and hotels give way to smaller, less expensive and
privately owned buildings of like sort. Then those eventually dwindle to what
you find on either side of you now. Yes, various scents of delicious food of a
wide assortment of styles, flavours, and nationalities entices your olfactorial
senses..attempting to lure you in for a bite, or five. Make no mistake,
however. It doesn't come as cheap as those fast food places around southern
Tyr Road..though you'll definately appreciate the higher quality. At a point
up ahead, the road and street becomes an unpaved trail, towards the start of
the steep walls that the mountain atol surrounding Midgaard creates. A deep
gorge carved by forces long forgotten and lost to legend is to the west
here..and a suspension bridge has been erected so that pedestrians might take a
stroll across it to Sif Way to the east, and marvel at it.

Seventh Heaven Bar - Main Room
Tifa's Seventh Heaven Bar has a campy feeling to it, primarily constructed of
dark wood with occasional items for decoration. Several worn tables grace the
area near the door, looking beaten up from years of patrons. The bar is more
well kept, stocked with a vast amount of alcoholic beveragesand components for
mixed drinks. The room is just a tad dimly lit, feeling cozy and familliar at
the same time. Other areas of interest are the entrance to the kitchen, and a
porch with some comfy chairs. All in all, the Seventh Heaven is a nice
tribute to what someone can put together for a buisness if they try. A machine
for a game similar to pinball sits on the less used side of the room, sporting
an "Out of Order" sign.

>Lyrae whimeprs softly, squirming now. .wantiing to be put down.
>Derek smirks and waves towards the stairs, "Come on, you can let her rest up in
the guest room..."

Seventh Heaven Bar - Upstairs Hallway
The upstairs hallway is a long thin passage that ends with a window on the
other side of the building. It's mostly free of decorations, and looks to be
built with less expensive wood then the downstairs area. Doorways lead off
into various rooms, most normally used for storage. One, however, bears the
label "Tifa's Room" on the door, and another next to it has a sheet of paper
tacked to it proclaiming, "Cloud's Room".

>Janus looks down towards Lyrae, and frowns. Yet, he says nothing to what she
is mumbling about, and moves towards the bed, not caring if anyone is in the
way. He slowly tries to set her upon the bed afterwards.
>Derek moves back, watching everything with a scowl that looks darker than a bad
thundercloud..
>Alhana steps back.. rather quickly, realizing that her and Cloud had been
sitting on the bed together.. discussing present events of course, but.. ^^; .

>Cloud looks over, blinking. "What happened, Derek?"
>Derek says, "Kataki again.. I'm not totally sure myself, but I saw their
helicopter going down and ran all the way outside of town to find them.."
>Ryan rubs his shoulder. "I can verify the helicopter part."
>Janus nods slowly for a moment, and lets go of Lyrae upon the bed there. "You
should rest, my sister. Sleep tonight, and we will plan tomorrow."
>Derek steps over, reaching for the stone in his sword again. He pauses next to
Janus, "Hey..if you want help against Kataki, you've got it."
>Alhana blinks immediately, frowning as her eyes stare coldly at Janus. Putting
her hands on her hips, she speaks, "What's that monkey-faced wretch up to now?"
>Cloud stands up, frowning. "Kataki...?" He looks over at Janus, then inclines
his head, briefly regarding Lyrae. He nods silently to himself. So, she's
convinced her brother...
>Janus quietly sits upon the bed beside his sister, yet remains sitting. He
won't leave his sisters side now. He then nods towards Derek, "Later, when I
have come up with a way. Can you gaurd this place well enough? Kataki knows
we are here, and can probably hear us talking as well."
>Ryan blinks. "You think he's bugged here?" . o O ( While he was in the
kitchen before... )
>Derek nods, "I'm staying in here tonight, Janus. I won't let him or anyone near
the two of you."
>Alhana looks as though she's about to go for Janus's throat for a brief moment,
"First you leave your sister out to the wolves, and NOW you want someone to
protect you from your own stupid man?!"
>Cloud says, "..." as he puts a calming hand on Alhana's shoulder. He shakes his
head slowly. Not now.
>Janus shakes his head, and says, "No. He bugged Lyrae, for the plan....
Kataki's plan." he then looks over towards Derek, and frowns, pulling out a
small handgun. "I can protect this room. You make sure he does not get in
here." he then looks over towards Alhana afterwards, and narrows his eyes
towards her. "Give me one reason not to shoot this red headed bimbo, though."
>Derek has left.
>Ryan crosses his arms, and frowns . o O ( I shouldn't have gotten this
involved anyway... )
>Cloud says, "... she is my... lieutenant."
>Janus points the gun towards Alhana afterwards, and asks, "I don't take insults
kindly. Be careful in the future." and, he then moves his gun away afterwards,
holding it to his side with one hand.
>Janus err...says, not asks.
>Alhana's green eyes FLARE, their mako-enhanced depths coming all the more to
life in their icy glare, "BIMBO!?" she exclaims, clenching a fist tightly. The
absolute only reason she's not at Janus's throat now is Cloud's hand on her
shoulder. "Any *boy* that acts the way you do is just begging for insults
anyway." With this however, she glances over at Cloud, her eyes immediately
seeming almost inquisitive.. contemplative perhaps.
>Ryan takes a step back. Had enough bruises today, yup yup... n.n;
>Lyrae opens her eyes, blinking once. One word is all she says, "Janus."
>Cloud shakes his head. "He's only worried about his sister." And of course,
Janus can't help it that he's so uptight.
>Janus slowly turns his head back over towards Alhana for a brief moment. He
narrows his eyes over towards her slowly, as he remains silent for a few more
moments. He clicks his gun to make sure it is loaded, and then points it
towards Alhana, and then he blinks as he hears Lyrae speak. He lowers his gun
immediatly, and turns towards her. Seems Alhana was saved by Lyrae.

>Alhana sighs, shaking her head. Looking at the ground, she abruptly spins back
to Cloud, her eyes narrowing. "What *have* you gotten me into now anyway, Cloud
Strife?" she speaks, pushing a few locks of stray fiery-red hair out of her
eyes.
>Cloud lifts his shoulders in a faint shrug, shaking his head almost ruefully.

>Lyrae turns her gaze from her brother towards Alhana, Cloud and Ryan.
"Midgaar.. is next.." ..she murmurs faintly, then lets out a soft sigh and
closes her eyes again.
>Cloud blinks, turning his head towards Lyrae. "... Next?" he asks gently.
>Ryan rubs the back of his neck. "...Huh?"
>Janus gazes deeply into his sisters eyes, while he remains silent for the first
few moments. He nods towards her for a brief moment, as he then says her name
as well, "Lyrae..." He closes his eyes briefly, while gripping onto his gun
tightly within his hand.
>Alhana, silent a moment as well, suddenly reaches up a hand to grasp Cloud's.
Squeezing it tight a moment, even lingering for perhaps -just- a moment longer
than necessary, she shakes her head as she walks towards the exit with a toss
of her long hair, resting a free hand on the hilt of her broadsword. "I'll
take first watch." she speaks before leaving without waiting for an answer.
>Cloud looks after Alhana, blinking, eyes suddenly troubled.
>Lyrae rests silently.
>Janus moves his other hand towards Lyrae's afterwards, and holds her hand
comfortingly. He remains silent, however... not saying one word to anyone.
>Alhana (OOC) is going to bed now though, assume she's ICly taking watch
downstairs. Anyone goes nearby, they get a rather scathing look and also get
to hear the sound of her sharpening stone on her swords and daggers. ;)

>Lyrae grins at Ryan.
