A premonition of world destruction? The
mysterious new soldiers appear
The Cutthroat War against the Death Phantom and the Dark Moon family
has ended, so now it is time for Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako to
concentrate on more pressing matters. They are in ninth grade, and
the entrance exams are all coming up, which determine where they will go
to school next. Rei, however, is having some strange visions of their
world being torn apart, the Sailor Soldiers unable to do anything.
A strange eight-pointed star appears - called the Messiah by Rei - but
then breaks into three stars, disappearing without any answers. Meanwhile,
lurking below the city, a scientist toils in his lab, beakers everywhere,
strange looking eggs in each. Professor Tomoe is searching for the
Sacred Cup, with the help of Kaoriknight and his eggs of Daimun.
To find the Sacred Cup, the Daimun must find the three Talismans.
With them, he will control the world. And the first target... Hino
Rei. When Rei goes to place a prayer on one of her sacred trees at
her temple, the Daimun takes shape and attacks, using a special power to
pull Rei's pure, crystallized heart from her body. The Sailor Senshi
are able to come and aid, but not too well, as Ami, Minako, and Makoto
aren't able to transform. While Sailor Moon does transform, her Moon
Scepter is useless and the Daimun Mikuji is able to remove her Silver Crystal
brooch, transforming the Senshi back to normal. Even Tuxedo Kamen
is no match. It takes the help of two mysterious Sailor Soldiers
to bring down the creature, and they only return Rei's heart when they
find it's not a Talisman. A new war is about to begin.

Rod born from love! Usagi's new transformation
The Silver Crystal still isn't working, thanks to the attack by Prof.
Tomoe's Daimun. Usagi worries about having to retire from the Sailor
Senshi. Luna, ever vigilant, recommends that she visits Mamoru for
some support. And that he is, taking Usagi to an abandoned house
(trust me, what Usagi thinks is absolutely priceless), showing her the
many stray cats that have gathered there. There, they find a young
girl who is taking care of the strays, but soon will not be able to since
the house will be torn down. On one of her whims, Usagi decided that
everyone will take some of the cats, though none of them can do so.
Kaoriknight has also done some deducing of her own, finding her next target,
sending a Daimun seed to go after the little girl. When it starts
it's attack, the Sailor Senshi are again quickly on the scene, except Sailor
Moon. Usagi's crystal still won't make the transformation.
When the Senshi attack Daimun Neko-Neru, they are easily trounced.
Again, even Tuxedo Kamen is no match. Once more, the mysterious two
Sailor Soldiers come in, but this time, don't destroy the Daimun, just
merely get the crystal heart. Finding it's not a Talisman, they leave.
Now in desperation to help, Usagi goes to help her beloved, and their love
and strength create a new transformation. Usagi's Crystal changes
to reflect her new strength, and with her new weapon, the Spiral Heart
Moon Rod, she crushes the Daimun. Now that they know what they're
up against, the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen are ready for any would-be
foes.

A nice handsome guy! Haruka Tenno's secret
At Motaki's arcade, the Crown, Usagi and Minako meet up with some new
people in their area, a handsome man, Tenno Haruka, and a gorgeous woman,
Kaioh Michiru. Infatuated with the handsome man, Usagi and Minako
follow him around, ignoring the fact that they have a study group with
Rei, Ami, and Makoto to attend. Usagi even worse so since she is
in love with Mamoru, but still insists to follow Haruka around. They
trail the 'couple' to an auto mechanics garage, where they learn alittle
more of the two. First, they are not a couple, which gives Minako
- and Usagi - some hope. Second, they learn who the next Daimun target
is, as Kaoriknight has chosen the mechanic as the one with a pure heart.
The Daimun quickly snatches it up, only to be slowed down by Haruka and
Michiru. This causes delay enough for Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus
to arrive. Before they can do much, the two Sailor Soldiers who had
remained hidden now introduce themselves, Sailor Uranus (actually Haruka)
and Sailor Neptune (actually Michiru). They attack the Daimun, but
leave the dirty work up to Sailor Moon to destroy it. Once gone,
Uranus and Neptune check the heart, finding it to be worthless again, and
they give it to Sailor Moon to return. The next day, the girls, as
well as Ami, Rei, and Makoto, learn something else new. The handsome
guy they thought was Haruka was actual the handsome LADY named Haruka.

Usagi's idol! Graceful genius Michiru
Usagi goes on a bit of a depression as she begins to realize that even
though they are in love, there are so many differences between her and
Mamoru, namely speaking, in education. While Mamoru is in just about
advanced-everything, Usagi is still lagging behind at a snail pace.
When she turns to her friends for some help, they all bail out, thinking
she's just on another kick. Feeling betrayed, Usagi turns to the
graceful Michiru for some classy upbringing. As a starter of sorts,
Michiru offers Usagi a pair of ticket to a classical music concert, to
take Mamoru to. Kaoriknight finds her next target there, that being
of a solo-violinist player. As the Daimun makes its stage debut,
the Sailor Senshi must face it, and quickly, since so many people have
been put in it's line of fire this time. Sailors Uranus and Neptune
appear again to chase after the pure heart, but even they get a bit of
a test out of this Daimun. Neptune is actually saved by Sailor Moon.
Ready to end the fight, Sailor Moon uses her Spiral Heart Attack to blast
the Daimun. Neptune and Uranus, taking the heart, find it's once
again not a Talisman, return it to it's owner. The concert is ruined,
but Mamoru confesses there is no love loss just because of grades, and
that's enough for Usagi... for now.
