Lone Star Junction
Lone Star Junction, a nice collection of Texas history resources including biographies of some notable Texans. Also some historic documents, not many, are included. Page is well laid out and easy to use. Also has information about Texas State symbols. Also there are some online books about Texas and the southwest at this site.

Texian Web
A short collection of Texas History links from Texas A&M university with a search engine

Texas State Historical Society website
This page has information about it�s activities and publications and a link to the Handbook of Texas Online, which can be useful. Also there is a historical sites atlas on this site. Links to other Texas history sites are included.

Texas State Cemetery
it includes biographies of some of the people buried there including governors and Texas Rangers.

Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library
This site includes information about the Alamo, specifically an illustrated chronology. There are also Texas history links. The page also gives contact information for the library and museum.

Institute of Texan Cultures at the University of Texas at San Antonio
this page includes a good overview of the history of Chinese Texans. There is a similar section on Japanese Texans. There is a section of tools for teachers, which looks very good.
