CHAPTER 11: MARI IIJIMA

Masquerade was over with in the Santa Clara Convention Center but the whole show was far from over. Of course, there was the highly-anticipated concert of Mari Iijima (Lynn Minmay's voice for Macross). She did a really good show and I liked her songs (I'm buying her English album come June!). Especially the one that got really in my head. "Oh, darling, I love you more than yesterday."

What was also cute was that her kids sang the Pokémon opening theme song (in English, of course). To my surprise, the whole audience roared with approval. From a mostly-biased audience, that's pretty astonishing...

Of course, Rey-Rey isn't going away empty-handed. Look at that pic...

Yes, it is REY-REY and MARI IIJIMA together!

Honestly, I looked like a real dorky fanboy in that picture but I don't care... ^___^
