First of all, we made the mistake of asking for the San Jose Convention Center. It was NOT held at the San Jose Convention Center. We even asked the parking valet whether the Masquerade for Fanimé Con was held there. He said yes so we went inside the Convention Center. Nothing. Not a single dork inside. Well, we found one. It was a 13-year-old kid who was hoping that he would find the Masquerade in there, too. We decided to let him go with us since we felt sorry for him.
Anyways, we found out that it was held in the Santa Clara Convention Center. It was actually about a 15-to-20-minute drive from the Wyndham Hotel. Couple of miles, my @$$.
Well, we couldn't do much about the seating. While we got there a couple of minutes before the masquerade started, we ended up sitting in the back row. Ranma-X went ahead to join all the other contestants in the Masquerade.
