ARTIST: deeps
LANGUAGE: Japanese
Following in the footsteps of teen idols SPEED, deeps comes from the same management team.  This is the best song from their debut cd..

ARTIST: Denise Ruan
LANGUAGE: Mandarin
Denise has a unique voice, and is a very promising new singer.  This song has her singing with two of my favorites, Valen Hsu and Panda Xiong.

ARTIST: D'Secrets / Jaggy Love
LANGUAGE: Japanese
This is the theme song from the LAST BRONX, a Sega arcade game.  Its great the way J-Pop finds its way into every facet of pop culture in Japan.

ARTIST: Every Little Thing
LANGUAGE: Japanese
This is my FAVORITE J-Pop song by far.  I heard this song in Tokyo playing in a store, and the catchy song has never left my head since.  It appears also on "Time To Destination".

ARTIST: Favorite Blue
LANGUAGE: Japanese
This catchy dance beat song is only one facet of this talented group.  Their debut cd (left) also contains some other good songs in different styles.

ARTIST: Globe
LANGUAGE: Japanese
I chose this songs because it is a good example of the catchy techno / J-Pop mixture that is Globe's style.  TK is the architect of this group and many others.

ARTIST: Grasshopper
LANGUAGE: Mandarin
This might be one of the catchiest songs I have ever heard.  Its a good example of how Grasshopper has always stood out from the other chinese pop acts.

ARTIST: Jacky Cheung
LANGUAGE: Cantonese
This is my favorite Jacky Cheung song.  It is a good example of the type of songs you can expect from Jacky Cheung, very emotional, powered by his great voice.

ARTIST: Jacky Cheung
LANGUAGE: Cantonese
This is Jacky's turn to sing at the World Concert.  The way he sings this songs shows he is the best male singer - his version is way better than the original.

ARTIST: Karen Mok
LANGUAGE: Mandarin
This song is a country style ballad sung by Karen, who may not have the best voice of all Taiwanese singers, but sings with as much emotion as any of them.

ARTIST: Koji Kikkawa
LANGUAGE: Japanese
I had to have this single after seeing the video in a music store at a mall near the Sunshine Center in Tokyo. Its not a deep song, but it is a fun pop single.
