Optical Fiber/ Fibra Optica (1996)

Marco Antonio, a young journalist working in a Mexico City newspaper,
accepts an anonymous telephone assignment to cover the assassination of a
prominent union leader. Magda, a criminal lawyer, is hired by phone to
defend the alleged murderer, the victim's lover, while the anonymous caller
gives orders and advice. Both protagonists soon find themselves trapped in
the game and, proving two parallel lines never meet, are forced to accept or
reject the final offer, putting their own lives on the line.

Cilantro y Perejíl (1995)

A light and entertaining comedy portraying conflicts of a contemporary
middle couple. After ending their ten year marriage, Carlos and Susana try
desperately to fall in love with other people. However, Carlos finds that
without Susana, he is incapable of the simplest tasks, including distinguishing cilantro from parsley.

"La Nueva Jerusalem" is a small community of believers lead by Papá Basilio
(Rabal) and Mamá Dorita (Jurado). They're waiting for the second coming of Christ,so
they've abandoned  the world, searching for a new spiritual life. Mamá
Dorita sees in young Tomasa (Gurrola) the signals of the chosen one. The

Old bachelor Benjamin (Lopez Rojas) still lives with his sister Micaela
(Doria) in the boredom of a small town. His only entertainment is getting
together with a bunch of old men and spare time playing like children.
Benjamin falls inlove with beautiful and young Natividad (Ramirez). First,
he writes love letters for her. Then, when this strategy fails,Benjamin and
the old men plan to abduct her and wait for her falling inlove.

Lolo (1992)

Lolo (nickname for Dolores, used in Mexico as femenine or masculine
name) is an outcast boy who lives in the suburbs of Mexico City. He accidentaly kills
the local moneylender (an old woman) when trying to rob his mother's golden
watch (that she pawned). Lolo is then hunted and blackmailed by everybody
but his girlfriend. The dialogs are in a very particular Mexico City slang.
