Claude and His Name Troubles


(SCENE: A small, comfortable looking room. There is a couch and a lamp in the background.
Claude is there, alone.)

Claude: Hi, everyone! Thanks for reading chapter one! I'm here to talk about something very important.

(Behind Claude, Vincent walks up and lurks in the background.)

Claude: You see, now that we're doing something that really rocks, our little rag-tag group needs a name! I want you to help me decide. I've been thinking of somethng from one of those Final Fantasy games, like... Tantalus!

(Vincent speaks up.)

Vincent: Claude, you're my friend. And because of that, I'll tell you that.... that is by far the stupidest idea you've ever had!!

Claude: Aw, c'mon... don't you like video games, Vinnie?

(Flames burn in Vincent's eyes.)

Vincent: I AM NOT VINNIE!!

Claude: Umm... Vincent...? Stop looking at me like that... Hey, what're you doing with that mallet? AACK!! PUT THAT THING DOWN!!

(Vincent chases Claude around the room with the mallet, yelling "VINCENT!!" over and over. Claude runs away, yelling help over and over.)
