SirAlexTheFirst (12:27:51 AM): The sword they were looking for here was a companion to Arryx.

SirAlexTheFirst (12:29:06 AM): He and his buddies got a hold of this sword, and he killed them to have it for himself, totally bearing no relation to anyone named Smeagol.

SirAlexTheFirst (12:33:43 AM): Unfortunately, Zane had fast healing, and came back for more. He succeeded in carrying off Aria's mother as a hostage to trade for Aria to get Bandon to talk to get the freaking sword already.
SirAlexTheFirst (12:34:24 AM): The party of course ignored the part about "come alone", and Verity and his dudes were prepared for this.
SirAlexTheFirst (12:34:35 AM): A big ambush was set up.
SirAlexTheFirst (12:35:21 AM): What Verity was not prepared for was that Aria's father, Tarin, was a high ranking civilian agent of the Gelendar military, and pulled strings to get a platoon of mage troops.

SirAlexTheFirst (12:36:39 AM): A lady named Aurelia came stumbling in, too, and gave the party info on Verity's plans, claiming to have been captured by them.

SirAlexTheFirst (12:44:29 AM): Marion and some other dudes ran into the cave, and it collapsed with big noises and ultralisks.
