::About SailorMars::

Well, for all of the people who are new to the world of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, this page will be very helpful. Although, I should warn you now, There are spoilers ahead. Please, if you don't want to hear what goes on in the series, leave now. I don't want to get flames from people saying that I gave away the entire series. Thanks.
     Alright, well, to begin: Rei Hino is a fourteen year old temple worker, who was the Princess of Mars in her past life. Being a princess of a planet in the solar system, Rei was a SailorScout, a warrior out to protect Queen Serenity's daugter, Neo Queen Serenity. (Princess Serena in the North American DiC dub.) Sailor Mars is one of seven soldiers. In the first season of Sailormoon, she was the second SailorScout to be discovered by Luna. Becoming a warior also means becoming a friend to the other senshi. Mars and the rest get along well, but put Mars and Moon together... and a war starts.
     In the final episode of the last season, though, Mars proves that she does care for the mission, despite what she says about Sailor Moon being a bad leader. Mars ends up being brought to the Negaverse by the Doom and Gloom girls. When Sailor Moon faces off against Queen Beryal, she saves SailorMars. That does make sense, no?
      In Sailor Moon R, Sailor Mars recieves a new henshin wand (I believe that's correct... I'll look it up eventually.), and new attacks. Not too much changes in her attitude though. She still thinks that she'd make a better leader than 'that whiny cry baby, Sailor Moon'. Although, again she ends proving that the mission comes before petty fights with her blonde leader. Especially in the Manga, when she gets carried off by Catsy. (See the Manga, it's a long story, and I'm not in the mood to type it all out.)
     Since I've only seen SailorMoon S: The Movie, I can't tell you too much about the series. I know, that again, SailorMars powers up, but I can't give too many more details. Same goes for Sailormoon SS; I've only seen the movie.
     SailorStars has to be my favorite season, so I know more about what happens to our favorite raven-haired-heroine. Again, SailorMars dies for the mission. This time, by Galexia. When the final battle comes, Super Sailor Mars supports Eternal SailorMoon all the way. She ends up being killed by Galexia, only later to be revived.
     I think that SailorMars could be one of the most important SailorSenshi. She's constantly teasing SailorMoon. Why do I think that this is important? Easy! If SailorMars never made fun of SailorMoon, or lectured her about being a bad leader, then SailorMoon might not have made it through some of the hardest battles. SailorMars is keeping SailorMoon on her toes, and always ready for anything that any enemy may shoot at the SailorSenshi. I almost think of SailorMars as the backbone of the SailorScouts. That's my humble opinion. Agree? Disagree? E-mail me, and I'll post some opinions on different parts of the site!
