One day, Doc invited Filmore over to assist her with her new cloning ray. Stacy, being Stacy, got a little too close to the beam. From the dust emerged an evil Stacy clone who ran off and tried to destroy Jacksonvilleton. After Zed accidentally defeated her, Doc managed to remove the evil to make the nasty Stacy into a a normal person.
Nastia looked just like Stacy, but without the vacant look. To express her individuality and personality, she died her hair black, stayed out of the sun, and went goth. She's the only goth in Jacksonvilleton.
Nastia is fully aware that she is an artificially created being. This sometimes depresses her as she feels less than human. The only thing that seems to cheer her up when she is down is Zed (the self-proclaimed cheer-up king). As a result, she's got some strong feelings for him. Her self esteem is very low, however, and she won't express her feelings toward him because she thinks she can't compete with Zed's other admirers.
