Lost Along the Way
Once as friends, we grew apart,
we left our homes for a new start.
Those who stayed fell behind,
while we were given new fears to find.
Once as friends, we lost our dreams,
our hopes our lives, were endless seams.
Torn away like a withered tree,
into the valley for all to see.
Once as friends, we made a vow,
it's silence to return us somehow.
To a place were we belonged,
into a view that's colour-blind.
Once as friends, we met again,
the traveling stopped, as the day did end.
We talked inside the memories,
the colored night's of endless glee.
Once as friends, we left again,
but swore that meeting was not the end.
Even if our paths never crossed,
our minds have bonded, and wont be lost
