Emotionless
Darkness is all they see
They don’t understand
This is not who I wanted to be
I didn’t have a choice
I had no voice
So it didn’t matter what I could have said
When I go to the light
Someone pulled me back
And said it wasn’t right
When I tried to care
They would do things I could not bare
I would have to be emotionless
So they wouldn’t hurt
The one I love
I had to become tough
Or the beatings would be more rough
They say I push my emotions aside
That’s not true
It’s all a lie
Otherwise why else
Would I cry
