Yuffie is a descendant of a tradition-bound Ninja Clan, though, one could probably tell by the way she looks that she couldn't care for tradition. She forces herself into Avalance thinking she could use them to obtain new materia (or was it their materia?).

She is very sly and self-centered. Her young age often leads to brash decision-making and tumultous relationships. Her powerful weapons and limit skills however, make her a useful ally in battle.
