You've bought your digicam, snap some shots and done the touch-ups. Finally it's time to print! Basically there are three ways to do this:
D-I-Y
Printers have evolved in the past years. With developments in technology, some printers are now able to print quality pictures (as good as "old fashioned" photographs). If you own such a printer, make full use of it! You'll have full control of the way the final print of your shots turn out. However, it could be quite costly to print it yourself (considering the price of ink catridges and special photo papers). Then again, if the results are satisfactory, it's worth the price to pay... right?
Print Shops
Nowadays, your neighbourhood photo shop should have the facility to develop prints from digital storage media. The cost doesn't differ much from traditional prints (I know this because I've asked the shop before), maybe a few cents more. So if your printer doesn't print photos too well, don't fret. Just bring your storage media to a photo shop and ask them to develop them into prints.
Online Order
Personally, I prefer this method. It's convenient! Also it's because I'm too lazy to send media and collect the prints. You just need to sign up online. Upload the photos you want to print, select the type of prints, use your credit card as payment and wait for the prints to be delivered right to your doorstep. Convenient, right?
Well that's all the tips I have. I hope they have been somewhat useful to you. Do drop by again as I will be adding new sections to the site. I'll also be updating the wallpapers on a monthly basis (unless I get too busy!). So do tune in! Till next time... take care!
