Why worths visiting?

Mauritius has been known as the "Hawaii in the Indian Ocean". It is well known for its sunny beaches and deep water fishing and diving. Besides, there are a number of natural landmarks which worths visiting: the world 4th largest botanical garden, the bird park which contains the world's rarest birds, a number of beautiful waterfalls and so on. Mauritius is certainly a good choice for those who would like to be back to nature.

My Memories of Mauritius

I have spent 7 years of my childhood in Mauritius: went there when i was 3 years old with my parents and come back alone at the age of 4. Then go there again when i was 8 and then come back when I was 14. People there are mostly friendly. There is a mixture of Africans, Indians, Europeans and Chinese. As a result, I learnt my French, English, Creole, and Putonghua there. School life is much more relaxing than in HK, but the pressure is not less. This is because there are also big exams at Primary 6 to gain access to 'good' secondary schools.

Mauritius is certainly a good place to visit, but may get bored if you live long. However, it was great pleasure to live in a 'big' house. I still remember the number of trees I had at home: 5 coconut trees, 2 mango, 1 lichee, 1 longan, 1 banana, 1 guava and 2 papaya trees. What I miss most is my dog Bobby. He was the one who has grown up with me, listen faithfully to my tears and who dance with me when I am bored.
