The Chronos Zoanoids: For those who've never seen the old school anime Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, or the more recent re-release, here's the backstory: A long time ago, aliens came to a crappy little mudball planet to research creating the ultimate weapon. That crappy mudball? Earth. That's right, humans are the BASIS for the ultimate weapons that these 'creators' made. Zoanoids were, supposedly, our final forms. That's right, werewolves and mermaids? Random Zoanoids who've popped up throughout the centuries. But why the 'creators' left is a mystery.
Chronos Corporation discovered a ship that had been apparently abandoned or left behind and has since been producing Zoanoids in a secret attempt to take over the world. The Zoanoids themselves can transform from human form to Zoanoid form and back to human form, but only if they're unharmed. Painful injuries can prevent them from doing so, so long as the pain is constant.
Of course, the aliens needed something to keep the Zoanoids from getting out of control, so they created a bio-organic suit that would be able to trump all of the Zoanoids, just in case. These units are call Guyvers (hence, the series name).

Ramotith - Any human being can be processed into this type, it is probably justified to call him perfectly average. Resembling something like a cross between a bear and a baboon, they possess not even one special ability; they are simply big, strong brawlers. The Ramotith has the prestige of being one of the earliest production models of Chronos, due immensily to it's simplicity and ease of processing. This model continues to become ever more popular. The true prize of the Ramotith however, is its balance between combat abilities. It yeilds average results in all categories of strength, agility, and skill.

Gregole - A success story. Almost as easy to process as Ramotith, this one is one-and-a-half times as strong, and possesses tough, padded skin which makes him bulletproof to a far greater extent than most other Zoanoids. To accomodate the ramming power of his horn, his body mass leans heavily forward. To compensate his balance, two thick, heavy tentacles grow out of his massive neck and sweep back to act as prehensile counterweights. The Gregule has the prestige of being one of the earliest production models of Chronos, due immensily to it's great strength and success.

Vamore - Another popular type thatīs mass-processed as well. Heīs considerably smaller than Ramotith, and his physical strength is relatively speaking low - but this does not really matter, as he is an artillery-type. Two large pods on his shoulders each contain an organic laser cannon with sufficient fire power to blow up an Abrahams tank.
Although limited in streangth, Vamore is a zoaform capable of being produced with ease; the bio-lasers making it more than worth while.
The design features shoulder mounted laser pods. The pods themselves hold two states, open and shut; serving to protect the sensative areas of the bio-laser from any hazardous environment until use.
It is unfortunate the fuel of the bio-laser is toxic to the zoaform, thus limiting the fireing to short bursts while the toxin is disposed.
Height: 210 cm or 6.9 feet
Weight: 122 kg or 19.2 st

Granza - A pseudo-arthropod, this time a crab, pure and simple, with a broad, thick carapax and enormous pincers, that can open a tank like a can of spam. Also a very broad head with huge staring eyes.
Height: 209 cm or 6.9 feet
Weight: 237 kg or 37.5 st

Delcasse - Not entirely succesful attempt at creating a Hyper-Zoanoid; still has abilities in advance of normal Zoanoids. Short, but heavily armored crustacean-type, partly covered in spines; enormous, three-pronged claws surround powerful bio-blaster units. The Delcasse is a standard combat zoanoid, with the added benifit of long range offensive capabilities.
The bio-lasers of this model are superior in not their output, but rather their targeting ability. A laser system is imbedded into each forarm, emitting from the palm of the hand. The mounting locations therefore allow the Delcasse to engage two targets in completely separate directions simultaniously.
Delcasse also features a ruged armor shell, impenetrable to standard projectile weapons.
Height: 214 cm or 7 feet
Weight: 235 kg or 37 st
