Advice: You'll only face on if your rival took one or if you play against a friend. Water is it's main weakness, but don't underestimate it. I've taken down a Blastoise (high level Water Pokemon) with a Charizard of equal level and a few Fire Blasts. I wouldn't recommend keeping Rage or Fire Spin. They take too long to build up to effective damage, especially if your opponent keeps raising their defense.
