Advice: These are a fair bit nastier. Don't try and challenge them unless you have some fairly strong but slow Ground Pokemon with Dig or strong flying Pokemon. They have a tendency to use Dig, which will have slow Pokemon rattled. The reason you want a slow Pokemon with Dig is simple. Once they do a Dig, yours should Dig too. Their attack will come first (thus they'll miss) and yours should hit. If they Dig again, keep trying. Sooner or later, they'll have to perfrom another move, then you'll nail them.

HMs: 04
Advice: The first place you'll find this Pokemon is inside the Pokemon Tower, guarding the top, where Team Rocket is hassling kind old man. You can only battle this Pokemon if you've got the Silph Scope, which will crack it's first defense. Defeating a Marowak is (duh!) tougher, but it's the same as taking on a Cubone.

Advice: Rhyhorns can be dealt with fairly easily with a Water Pokemon, but in case you don't, it requires a vary stronger Pokemon to crack it's high defense.

Advice: The defense levels are VASTLY different. A Rhydon can take even the attacks of a high-level Pokemon and not flinch. Strong water Pokemon are HIGHLY recommended.
