Note: As a bear, his Strength was increased to ten and his Constitution became eight.

Appearance: Chief is a tall man in his twenties. A beautiful combination of California beach and burly bear. Though not immediately noticible, Chief's alien heritage is revealed by her pointed ears and small fangs. His dark skin is offset by her pale eyes and mane of deep black hair worn in a voluminous ponytail. A fireball of frantic energy, Chief's figure is maintained in a taut state. Chief is a giant of a man, standing a full 6'6" (taller even than Walker), and massively built and well muscled with a thick mass of black hair and a long mustache. His reddish-brown hair is worn long and falls to his broad shoulders, and is kept out of his face by a wide headband. Chief's costume consists of a sleeveless denim jacket, blue jeans and fringed moccasin boots, and a long white cape. Chief has a deep voice and a very impressive and booming laugh. He likes to use assorted special effects tricks (such as smoke capsules) to make his entrances more exciting.

Smarts: Not as easy to evaluate as you might think. While on cursory examination Chief might seem the very personification of "ditz", "airhead", "bakamusume" and any other terms you might come up with, the pattern of his behavior and appearances suggest that there might be more upstairs than one would initially suspect. Chief frequently defies the odds against him and finds his way into places and events, entry into which is deemed impossible by more knowledgeable heads. This tendency has saved Walker from everything from the sexual predations of mad sisters to a death duel with a skin-headed fop. This continuing pattern cannot be coincidence. Whether Chief is guided by an outside intelligence or his own cannot yet be conclusively determined. He also has a sharp eye and a memory for detail that shook the Juraian Royal House to its very foundations. Whatever the case it is best not to judge him too quickly.

Disposition: Despite the hardships he and his people have endured in recent years, Chief retains his respect for nature and warm, caring nature. He continues to fight onward, however, towards the goal of reclaiming his people's homeland, for which he battles with all his strength.

Cooking: He appears to be very good in this area provided you can get him going. He would need to be good actually given how much food he can put away but he would prefer napping in a sunbeam to cleaning the carpet. Must have something to do with the bear in him. While he would certainly have dinner waiting for you when you get home if you're late there might not be much of it left by the time you do arrive.

Fighting Skills: Actually he's quite good. While he appears to be firing randomly in blind panic damn near every one of his shots tell against his targets. His Galaxy Police Cube contains, among other things, a wide variety of personal weapons from a snub-nosed blaster to an energy rifle the size of a howitzer. In addition he has a fully equipped Galaxy Police cruiser at his disposal with all the weapons systems it contains including powered armor. Chief is basically a generic fighter. His moves look to be a mix of karate and pro-wrestling. Chief will also make up names for his attacks on the spot, such as the "Chief Miracle Special Ultra Super Megaton Punch". Chief is a grappler pure and simple. His main tactic is to close with is target (usually using Diving Hawk or Thunder Strike maneuvers), grab his foe and then execute any one of a number of strikes or throws. His Brain Cracker is a favorite, in which he rams an opponent's face into his knee, or his Storm Hammer, in which he grabs an opponent, whirls him over head, and then hurls him to the ground (this is usually followed up with a Buffalo Punch). Chief is an expert with his sword.

Special Abilities: Chief seems to exhibit the ability to alter probability. Whether this is deliberate or just a random effect of her scattered mind cannot be said for certain. Suffice it though that the established odds of a given event occuring no longer apply when Chief is in the vicinity. The rest of Chief's skills are pretty simple. Chief is a ham. He likes attention and can put on a great show for the cameras. He is also very much the showman and likes to keep his reputation strong by making outrageous claims about his abilities and accomplishments. On the other hand, his pat response to how any of the UGoI fighters can do the things they do is: "It's a trick!". Chief also has command of some more mystical talents, such as his Thunderclap, which he executes by slamming his open palms together with a great deal of force. This technique is often used against a whole group of foes, as a way of giving Chief some breathing room before engaging in hand-to-hand fighting. He is beginning to learn special "sword art" techniques, allowing him to focus his chi through his sword. His only power to date is the "Minus Strike," which increases in power as he grows weaker.

Economics: Chief appears to make a good living as a detective first class with the Galaxy Police. While I doubt his salary will support you in luxury you can live comfortably. The problem is just what is Chief paid in and is it valid on earth? As Chief has been assigned to the Solar System you will probably be living on Earth and indications are his salary isn't valid here. Chief does show himself capable of holding various part-time jobs but little indicates that he is capable of a serious career outside of the Galaxy Police. As likely as not you will be the principal earner in the family. When we finally see him again, he is the leader of a ruthless (and violent) gang of criminals who perform all sorts of dirty work for certain corrupt elements in the government.
