Appearance: Ummmm.... There seems to be more than one Elranda, looks-wise. Most of the time she looks pretty much as people describe her -- a mean, monstrous-looking, flat-chested, beanpole. Occasionally, she can actually look somewhat good -- albeit still a flat-chested beanpole. Slender, elegant and demure, Elranda is everything you could want from non-robust beauty, and more. Long, ruby-red hair, a slim, graceful and modest frame, deep, shimmering green eyes, and long, Elven ears. Her fair, comely attractiveness is not something most people would ever be likely to find, or possess. Everything about her, from her lithe movements, to the way her hair lifts with the winds, to her gentle, beaming smile is a pleasure to behold.
Smarts: Elranda's quite intelligent; she's had a long time to cultivate her mind and thinking, after all. Although a bit limited in scale by her somewhat sheltered existance (Elves, at least of Elranda's kind, don't seem disposed to have much to do with other races willingly.), anything she knows about, she knows well, and is a quick learner about things she doesn't.
Cooking: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Yeah, right. She just does nothing but eat out. Elranda, like the rest of her kind, is an experienced woodsperson, and as such, knows much about edible plants, berries, and what-not, as well as, in times of need, animal trapping and preparation/cooking or cook fish over a fire. If you can live with fish everyday or you can take the "jet-setter" lifestyle of daily restaurant trips, then feel free. But if you're hoping for home-cooked meals and a cup of coffee every morning, just look away. It also looks as if she wouldn't even consider trying. You can also expect that you will go hungry for days at a stretch every so often until you can afford to eat out again. She likely is not very experienced in true household cuisine, although she'd be very willing to learn probably, and most likely become very, very good at it.
Fighting Skills: Hand-to-hand -- sub-par for the scale of characters... She can easily beat the crap out of any bandits and is remarkably strong for someone so utterly skinny. Elranda is an accomplished swordswoman with her elvish rapier, and skilled in light natural/elemental magic that isn't destructive or harmful to the enviroment. In general, though, the Elfling faces villains who stand far above that. While not aggressive, and clearly possessing a certain distaste for violence, her devotion and her belief in what's right will make her a fierce, unyielding combatant at need. You can rely upon her to stand by and defend you whenever you need her to. Her swordsmanship leaves much to be desired, but she's beaten inexperienced swordsmen and careless fighters with it. Doesn't compare to Rahan or Walker. Ultimately, she has to depend on her magic. Since she's trained in Black Magic -- which is fundamentally a combat class -- that makes her a great fighter in that sense. Whole lot of good it does against really powerful Demons, but it usually serves well.
Special Abilities: Natural/elemental magic, as mentioned above. Aside from magic? well..... Stuffing down enormous quantities of food and remaining hungry, not to mention remaining a veritable stick figure. Shouting and screaming and running wildly without getting tired or losing her voice. Also an accomplished musician with the harp, and knows many hauntingly beautiful tunes to go with her skill. Her experience in the wild also brings skill as a outdoors woman with her, and any camping trip she took you on would assuredly be an experience to remember and treasure. Also a decent waitress, although I think she'd prefer to be on the receiving end of that ^_^.
Economics: Oh, well... She is highly crass, and knows what money can buy and does a great deal to try and get out of paying too much. She constantly steals treasures from bandit gangs that she rubs out, but that's basically her one and only source of income. Ummm, and it is frequently squandered in one way or another (usually constant dining out on enormous amounts of food) before she runs across another gang of bandits. Elranda hasn't had much use for money, as nearly everything she's personally needed, she can find and/or make on her own. Depending on need, however, she could draw a respectable income with her musical and craft talents, although she by no means would be likely to let you sit by and let her do all the work. =) She probably isn't very used to mundane chores such as cleaning either, but would again, likely be very willing to learn and go about it cheerfully.
