The Inquisitor House, built in the 1500s, which is the city townhouse residence of the current Inquisitors of Adirai and their families. Located in the central Capital, there is a large and busy street in front of it, not seen in the photo. The Inquisitor resides here, and it is where Inmedae spent most of his time growing up. Inmedae now views it as monstrously unfashionable and behind the times-- not at all corresponding to his preference for the French chateau style and French classicism. He constantly refers to his plans to, when made Inquisitor, gut it completely and make it a house of fashion, worthy to that of Versailles.

This is the ancestral home of the Menancetés, built in the 1400s, located in the north-west province of Sézan. It is one of two very large family estates. The family used to locate here at different times each year, and Inmedae was sent to be privately tutored for Inquisitorship after his mother and Julian died, from ages 16-20. It's gloomy and Inmedae dislikes the house obsessively, as it reminds him of his father.

The city townhouse belonging to Lord Menanceté, where he and his family lived when he wasn't yet Inquisitor. Inmedae was born here, along with most of his siblings-- minus Lizzy, who was born after the Inquisitorship. The family still lived in it afterward, along with the official Inquisitor House residence. For a time, it belonged to Algernon, and also Aurilla-- who technically owns it now.

The second, and newer Menanceté home, built in the late 1600s by Inmedae's paternal (meaning Menanceté) grandfather, though not used much by the family. Inmedae's mother was extremely fond of it, as is Inmedae, who still vacations here at times. She had it remodeled a bit and stayed in it much, enjoying summers sans her husband, with her children and friends and loyal servants-- and a lover or two. The grounds of the house, its gardens and such, were wholly designed by her. She loved it, and so Inmedae does.

One of the townhouses in the Capital city (meaning, the city of Adirai-- the same name as the country) belonging to the old and monstrously powerful (as well as extremely rich) Eastern-Adiraian Evizia family; which was Lady Menanceté's family, that the Inquisitor happily married into for their massive wealth. The street in front of it is very fashionable, in the elite Eviscent district, on the other side of the park, opposite Inmedae's Townhouse.
The current owner is Lord Arcady Evizia, a prominant socialite closely aquainted with Inmedae (who happens to be his nephew), the living brother of Lady Genevré Hilenzy and the late Lady Menanceté, Inmedae's mother.

One of the Evizia family townhouses in the major Eastern city of Célandry, in the provence Averny-- where much of the extremely large family is situated.
This particular house belongs to Lady Genevré Hilenzy, of the house of Evizia, and her family. She is the sister of the deceased Lady Menanceté, and a great socialite of the Eastern city, as well as an intimate member of Miss Amarinth's set in the West.

Célandry is the second-largest city in Adirai (second only to the Capital), and the most important in the East.
