Misc. Inmedae Facts, a beginning of what will be a massive page soon.

-Inmedae was educated at Cambridge, England, and graduated-- but forgot nearly every bit of English he'd learned. (And doesn't particularly revere English culture, jointly.)
-He made the Grand Tour first at the age of 19, for nine months with his tutor, to England, France, Italy, and Greece. His second time was with several society acquaintances to the above locales, along with Germany and the North, at 22. He returned and broke with his father, and purchased the Townhouse not long after.
-Inmedae, after the death of his father, grows consumed by the healing properties of the Church & attempts at conservativism, relenquishing his relations with Sites, various circles, and Miss Amarinth; marrying on the suggestion of varied polititians who attempt control of his person. He falls into a period of regret and puppeted influence, corrupted with the revolt against his naturalist nature moreso than by his youthful indescretions; his confusion and excesses. The guilt he acquires from the passing of his father, his percieved lack of emotion toward it, solidifies this change-- as did the death of his mother. With each, a new arc of personality is issued, forming him-- he is never particularly 'whole'.
-He wears small pince-nez spectacles perched on his nose around those he knows, and at times a monocle in public, formal functions. He is rather nearsighted. Also, when sunny, he wears small, round & fashionable wire-framed sunglasses. For his near-sight, he takes extremely expensive eye-drops twice daily, mixed by his personal physician. (Although nothing comes of it; as 18th century remedies were mainly faux cure-alls.)
-He was highly educated in music, as well as singing & dancing. He plays, to this day, an excellent Harp, a mediocre Harpsichord & Viola.
-Inmedae speaks with a voice with tonal inclinations somewhere between tenor & baritone; a kind, good-natured voice, which can turn suddenly and shockingly cruel according to situation. His speech has a connected, warm, smooth honey-like consistency, and a way of speaking typified among Western Adiraians-- a soft slurring of words brought out by intermittently sharply-enunciated words beginning with consonants-- so that sentences seem to dance and trip. His singing voice is loud, fairly good, on pitch, and has been referred to by some sycophants as "beautiful"-- which it isn't, really.
-Inmedae talks with his hands when exuberant, and has very animated, mobile facial expressions-- particularly about the mouth.
-Along with Western Adiraian, and the slightly divergent Eastern dialect, he speaks perfectly fluent French, Latin, Italian; and Ancient Greek & some German, as well.
-Frequently-worn colors: Burgundy, wines, burnt-oranges, reds, creams, light yellow, browns, violets, mint green, dusty rose, mauve, mustards. He consummately hates all shades of blue, white (too "harsh for his coloring"), and owns no black suits, as he believes black "sets the body's boundaries"-- as in, one could decipher the full extent of his girth by wearing very dark hues. He also adores gold, rubies, garnets, amethysts, pearls, opals, topazes, and diamonds.
-Inmedae's Accouterments (things usually on his person in some form or other.)

-Inmedae hates priests, and much about the Adiraian-Catholic church.
-Inmedae's signature blond curls are natural in their wave, but are usually formed by putting the hair into curl papers by night, to accentuate the structure.
-He is so fastidious about attiring his person, that he, at times, makes doubly sure to match his suit with his carriage. He also is obsessed with cleanliness and sweet smells, and takes a bath each morning, and always has freshly-washed hair.
-The first thing he reads in the paper are the social columns, to read about himself and other contemporaries, friends & acquaintances-- and the obituaries, an odd habit. He reads mainly fictions and poetry, and 'scandalous' philosophy. When impressionable company visits, he orders the bookshelves of his library dusted, so that histories and political books & etc. are not seen as neglected.
-Inmedae is (of course) obsessed with faddish things, such as decor, foods, style, manner, the newest clothing, etc.
-Each year, he spends several weeks of the Season in Paris and other sections of France that he knows well-- or rents a house in Italy for culinary and purchase visits. On these, he usually brings his chef so that he might learn the newest techniques, etc.; usually orders 45-60 new suits; also shoes and accouterments (the finest jewelery, facial products, personal objects d'art); items of furniture; antiquities (sculpture, architectural) for his cabinet, current art; carriages; fine wines & liqueurs, etc. And gorges himself on unequalled delights of cuisine (usually putting on an extra 15-20 lbs.), taking part in the noble diversions of the theatre, the opera, orchestras, gambling parties, dinners, balls, masquerades and fetes; salon gatherings, illicit sex, acquaintance-visiting, sight-seeing, dining at exclusive eateries and cafes, taking coffee and tea and lunching with dignitaries, etc. It is his freedom-time; where his movements will not make their way to the Adiraian papers. (Although, they are heavily spoken of in the countries and cities he visits-- as he is a well-known public figure in Europe altogether.)
-Inmedae sees himself as "new", and "modern"-- in philosophy, design, thought, etc. Very much attached to the values of the Enlightenment. (As are most of his society friends, public intellectuals and etc-- who, in effect, pushed him into it, with sly reverence-- knowing that the Heir to government and the Inquisitorship is a radical liberal.) He had a model constructed as a "vision of Adirai"; the capital city as he wished it looked like. (Neoclassical, extremely French, per neoclasssical Enlightenment ideals.)
-He occasionally has attacks of gout from his years of overindulging, and has palpitations from the strain his weight puts upon his heart. He is also a hypochondriac. Yet he nearly always disregards & laughs off whatever advice comes from his physicians, or takes such with a liberal dose of salt. Very much "Eat, Drink & be Merry", as Inmedae is, to stave off mental inconsistancies and trauma. He intermittently attempts to diet, but this lasts less than a day, usually; and ends in throwing himself back into his butter-and-cream laden delights, endless courses, wines, and love of delectable sweets & pastry-- his "Fleshly Pleasures", or so he calls them. He has resigned himself to a life of high-living and consummate sense-gratification, and this fills up many gaps in his psyche, and so he continues.
