Gundam Wing is one of the best mecha anime I have ever seen. The animation is very well done, and the anime has a large cast of charactors. The story starts in the year AC(after colony) 195. Over the past century, humanity has established a number of space colonies, giant wheel-shaped space stations that are home to millions of people. These colonies are grouped in clusters at the five Lagrange points, areas of relative stability in Earth orbit.

Over the years, the Federation armed forces with the help of Oz, used there influences and military might to conquer most of the colonies. The colonies that were luckily spared from being attacked, united and formed a resistance. The colonies only hope for peace and independences now rests on the shoulders of 5 teenagers who pilot the mightiest mobile suits ( Gundams )...
