Strengths: Happousai is one of the most powerful martial artists on the planet. Because of his advanced age, he has access to knowledge of almost every martial arts style in the world, which means that almost nothing will surprise him or catch him off guard. Even though he's old, however, he is by no means physically weak. He is strong enough to throw people many times his size very far, and he has also shown that he can take quite a beating and continue fighting. In addition, he is also very small and very quick, which makes it impossible for most people to even hit him. Finally, like other fighters of the anything-goes style, he is able to overcome and adapt to situations that present themselves in battle.

Weaknesses: Happousai has only one real weakness, but that weakness is a very significant one. In addition to being one of the greatest martial artists on earth, he is also one of the greatest perverts. In the middle of a fight, even the sight of young, beautiful women walking by can completely distract him, making him forget that he's fighting altogether. Bras and panties are also very distracting to him, and if an enemy knows about his weaknesses, they can be easily expoited. Happousai seems completely incapable of resisting his weakness, even when he knows his enemy is using it against him. Also, since Happousai is a great fighter, and he knows it, he will often refuse to take fights seriously at first.

Weapons: The Anything-Goes school founder is primarily a bare handed fighter, but he often uses his pipe as a weapon. With a single tap of his pipe, he is able to throw opponents very hard into walls or just into the air to get them away from him. Also, when it's hot, he will poke people with the metal end and burn them. Besides his pipe, Happy will also use bras as weapons, putting them on his opponents in battle to embarass them, or using them to cover their eyes.

Special Moves:

The battle aura that Happousai possesses is one of his most deadly weapons. In battle, he can manifest his battle aura in order to make himself much larger and much more powerful, but this is somewhat draining and he can't keep it up forever. Also, he can project his aura around him, which is usually shaped like a giant version of his head, although with glowing red eyes. This aura has the ability to scare and freeze other martial artists in place, rendering them helpless to his attacks. He can also project the aura head out, and use it to hit his enemies, one hit from it being enough to defeat almost anyone.

Happou Daikarin: One of the master's most powerful techniques, that he once sealed away for being too destructive. Using this technique, he is able to assemble and light, in less than a second, any number of highly explosive fuse-lit bombs. A direct hit from just one of these bombs is usually enough to fell even great martial artists, and if not knock them clean out, at least leave them in very bad shape. The only disadvantage of this technique is that the fuses can be put out, or the bombs can be thrown back at him if the opponent is quick enough, and is expecting it.

Okuhida Hurricaine: By twirling his pipe around in the air, Happousai is able to create strong winds. Although possibly useful in battle, he usually only uses this technique to blow girls' dresses up and to give himself an opening to escape from during his panty raids.
