Chapter Six - Attacked 


Residents of Tokyo look about the sky as it is far too early for the sun to be down. A man looks at his watch and says to his companion, "What's going on? It isn't even four o'clock yet." The two stand there discussing what is happening when a shriek echoes through downtown.
"Oh, come on. It wasn't that funny!" Usagi steams. She pulls her legs up crossed and goes extremely red as she wipes some ice cream off of her face. Minako, Luna, Artimus, Ami, Rei and Makoto are just laughing hard as Usagi stands up and yells. "Knock it off! What's so funny??" This only makes the girls laugh harder until a loud thud from behind startles all of them. They slowly turn around to find one of the creatures standing there and looking around.
They all gasp and step back a little, "Whoa! What is that?!" Minako yells.
"I don't know but it looks really ugly!" Makoto says and holds her fists out. The creature doesn't even seem to acknowledge them and starts walking down the street quickly, frightening everybody as it goes.
"Hey, where is it going?" Rei asks.
"I don't know, but we need to follow it. Come on!" Luna orders and runs after it. They all nod and run after Luna.

Haruka, Michiru and Hotaru are about to go into a malt shop when they hear some distant screaming. They all stop and look down the street as a large number of people are scattering for some reason. They lean a bit out of the door and see another one of the creatures quickly moving towards them. It stops about twenty feet from them and looks at them, tilting it's head a bit. The three look at each other and then back to it. It narrows it's eyes and pulls out some device.
It says something in a different language into the device and then puts it away.
It points at Hotaru and a low, growling voice says, "You are coming with us." She steps back a bit and Haruka stands in front of her.
"Yeah? Who says?" she growls.
The creature looks at her and holds fist out, "This doesn't concern you, senshi of Uranus. You are not my concern." it says. The three girls are taken aback that he knows who she is. They all pull out their henshin wands and hold them up. Suddenly, the creature throws three small, golden rings at them. The rings grow to a huge size and before the girls can henshin, the rings flash and lock around them. Their arms are pulled down to their sides and they dropped their wands as they are no longer able to move. They rings send a shock of energy into them all and they fall to the ground weakly.
The creature walks over to Hotaru and reaches down to pick her up, "No! Hotaru!" Michiru yells weakly and tries to get free of the rings. Hotaru's eyes are barely open as the dark hand reaches out to grab her. Suddenly, Sailor Pluto lands right in front of the creature and with a quickly jab of her staff, sends the creature reeling back.
It grunts and growls at her, "You! How dare you oppose the Nisai!" it yells. She sets her staff out in front of her and stands in front of Hotaru.
"You will not take her." she says. The creature removes another ring and throws it at her but she quickly uses her Dead Scream attack to destroy it. It charges her and huge claws grow out of it's hands. It slashes down at her but she blocks it's arm with her staff. She pushes it away with it and then uses her Dead Scream attack at point blank range. It gets thrown back and goes skidding across the ground, skidding to a smoldering halt in the street. It's arms fall to the ground with a lifeless thud and Pluto turns around to the others.
"Oh, Setsuna! I'm so glad you are here." Hotaru says weakly. Sailor Pluto smiles a bit and kneels down next to her to try and remove the ring. Suddenly a scream from behind rips into their ears. Sailor Pluto turns around to see the creature leap into the air and it comes down right between her and Hotaru. Right as she turns her head back, the creature gashes her shoulder with the claws. She yells in pain and gets knocked back a bit. Then the creature's hands glow as it sends a beam of energy towards her. She sees it and tries to block it with her staff but it knocks her to the ground. She weakly opens her eyes and notices the creature's armor, which had taken her whole blast. It picks Hotaru up and a rip in space like the one it arrived in opens behind it. The three girls watch in horror as the creature jumps through the rip, taking Hotaru with it.
"Hotaru!" Haruka yells and barely stands up. The tear seals up behind it, leaving the three on the mangled street corner. As soon as the creature had gone, the rings disappear and the girls can move once again.
"What are we going to do?!" Michiru asks in a panic. Sailor Pluto looks towards the largest skyscraper in the city and the huge dish sitting on top of it.
"That's where they are going." she says as the other follow her gaze.

Hotaru falls to the ground weakly right in front of the darkly dressed creature with the hood. The creature that had captured her steps back and bows to the him. A sneer can be seen from under the hood and a deep, bellowing laugh.
"Well done indeed. Now we have the power of the Sailor of destruction in our grasp." the raspy voice sneaks out of the hood. Then the three other creatures come leaping onto the building from different directions. They assemble next to the other one and look at Hotaru.
"Is that her?" one of the creatures ask. The hooded figure nods lightly and looks towards the others.
"Now, what about the Mage?" the raspy voice asks. The creatures look at each other and then back to the hooded figure.
"No sign of him. He may not even be on this planet now." one of the creatures says.
"Forget him, we can deal with him later. Let's get our package back to Sai." the hooded figure says and points at Hotaru. Just as one of the creatures is about to pick her up, a single rose sticks into the ground in front of his hand. They all look to see Tuxedo Kamen standing on the side of the roof.
"Stop, you will not take her. I, Tuxedo Kamen will not allow it." he says and steps down off of the ledge. The hooded figure looks at the strange man and waves his hand in the air.
"Take care of this impudent person." he says and one of the creatures starts walking towards Tuxedo Kamen calmly. Tuxedo Kamen throws another rose into it's chest to stop it's advance but the rose only sticks into the thick armor. The creature doesn't even slow down when it takes the rose out and throws it to the ground. Tuxedo Kamen is taken back a bit and produces his cane, ready to fight the advancing creature. Suddenly, all the Inner Sailor senshi lands next to him and the creature stops.
"Hold it right there! I am Sailor Moon! You won't get away with taking that girl!" Super Sailor Moon says and the senshi get ready to fight. Then the Outers land on the other side of the creatures and Sailor Pluto steps forward.
"Let her go, Nisai scum. You won't make her part of your guild." she says. All the other senshi are a bit surprised that she knows who they are. The creatures take defensive positions around the hooded figure and the hooded figure looks at all of them.
"Destroy them all." the raspy voice says. The creatures get evil sneers on their faces and two start to advance on the Inners and Tuxedo Kamen, while the other two go after the Outers.
