Sailormoon: Omega

~ Prologue ~ Alternative Problems

In a small corner of the universe, in a solar system among thousands in the Milky Way, on a little blue planet with one small moon, a war was fought. Good and evil, the classic struggle set in the extreme with the end result being the sailor senshi defeating chaos and freeing Sailor Galaxia to be good once again. All was as it should be, the Three Lights had found their princess and have returned home, Usagi was late for school, Makoto and Minako were chasing guys at the mall, Ami was studying, Haruka and Michiru were at the park, Setsuna was at home and Rei was at her shrine. The universe was safe and peaceful. However, in another universe......

A badly beaten city that resembles Tokyo was seen ablaze with flashes of light periodically lighting the crumbling buildings, filling the dark sky with dying light. A large group of creatures were seen flying in the air towards a large tower in what seemed to be what was left of the center of the city. They resembled humans but were bigger, had a sort of grayish tint to their skin and were wearing heavy armor that had marks on it to distinguish rank. They were in a tight formation and two in the front were discussing a recent battle when there was a large explosion off to the east.

"What was that?"

The second of the two, obviously the leader, looked off in that direction and narrowed his eyes slightly, "I don't know, but let's go check it out."

The group landed among the rubble and surveyed the damage with a silent sense of awe to them. Then they split into smaller groups and started to look around for the source of the destruction. After a silent moment, one of the creatures called out loudly, "Unigen! I found someone!" Unigen, the creature that was leading the group, walked over to find a creature of the same kind as them, or what was left of it, lying in the midst of a large hole in the side of a building.

"What the....?" His sentence was cut short by an explosion that destroyed a fourth of the creatures he was with, and sent the rest hiding behind destroyed cars, buses, and other debris around.

The fear trapped in the voice of one of the creatures cut through the air as they all hid from the invisible attackers, "Is it them!?"

"Of course it is, you idiot!"

"Where are they?"

This time, the creature was greeted by silence and it made the rest of the creature stir. The creature that asked the question looked in the direction where Unigen was and was horrified to see Unigen's armor fly into the clearing with a loud thud. His dull, green eyes shrank a bit at the sight and he stared at the armor in shock, "Unigen?"

"Bicap, what are we going to do? Your second in command, think of something!"

The second creature, subordinate to the leader, glared at the other and barked out a quick order, "Shut up! They'll hear you!"

"It's much too late for that."

The voice that called out was fearfully familiar to them, and they had all heard stories of what would happen next. Bicap sneered grimly and looked into the darkness around them, "Who's there? Identify yourself!"

"Don't play dumb, though I guess you’re not really playing, are you?"

The second voice was different from the first, a bit deeper and more gruff. It was obvious at least two of them were around and Bicap was near to soiling his armor, "This is a restricted area. In the name of the Omega Organization, you're under arrest!"

"Oh my, really? I had no idea we weren't supposed be here, arrest us." Two figures did indeed step out into the light and faced the creatures with no fear in their movements. The first was tall and lean, dressed in almost all black except for green highlights on his shirt and belt. His face was covered by a mask and two peat green eyes glanced at Bicap calmly. A few strands of brown hair fell from his spiked style across his brow, which he calmly brushed away with a gloved thumb. Behind his figure, a handle of a sword poked out from behind his long flowing cape and he casually stood with his arms crossed over his chest. The second figure was dressed much the same but a bit shorter than the first. He also wore a mask like the first, covering the bottom part of his face and only leaving his icy blue orbs to glare at Bicap as well. Blue also adorned his clothing where green adorned the other, and strands of dark blue hair was neatly kept along his forehead.

Bicap was not at all happy to see them both and he rose from his place behind a rolled car, pointing at the pair and speaking with a sharp voice, "Shadow Jupiter, Shadow Mercury, you two are on the Organization's kill-on-site list for your acts of terrorism against the Perfect Order."

The figure clad in green, Shadow Jupiter, looked flatly at his companion and mused in that gruff voice, "That's funny, I thought everyone was on that list."

The other, Shadow Mercury, nodded his head once and looked around at the other creatures rising around them, speaking in a more refined dialect, "Yes, it seems we are not as special as we once believed."

The creatures started advance on the two but they just stood there without concern, as if they had nothing to fear at all. Bicap was repeatedly telling to his men to steady themselves and not to show any mercy, which only seemed to amuse the two. Suddenly, one by one, his men started to disappear by some blurring movements, taking the creatures away without a trace. Bicap was too busy in his triumphant role to notice, and soon he was alone, aside from the two figures he looked at with a grin, "Steady men."

Out of nowhere, two other figures landed quietly behind Bicap and one of them followed him slowly, a grin distorting his mask. He was taller than his companion, though not as tall as Jupiter. He was also dressed the same as the others, but with orange hues to his clothing and the symbols for Venus stitched in as well. A mop of blonde hair hung long from his head and bright blue eyes looked at Bicap with glee as he followed close behind. The last of the figures stood grimly where they landed, his dark, almost black eyes watching him follow Bicap with little amusement. Red hues saturated his clothing and the mask covered his expressionless face, halfway hidden by long strands of brown hair across his face. Already some structure to the four could be seen as the last figure showed his disapproval by closing his eyes and straightening his hair tied back behind his head. However, the other three seemed to be having a good time, and the figure following Bicap called out over his shoulder to Mercury and Jupiter.

"Men? I don't see any men. How about you Jupiter?"

Bicap froze in his tracks and whipped around, only to find the other two figures and a severe lack in reinforcements. Jupiter let out a laugh and walked over to Bicap also, who was trying to speak but seeming to have problems at the sight of them all.

"Nope, I don't see any. Our friend here is all alone now. What fun can we have with him?"

Bicap couldn't move, even as Jupiter walked up behind him and grinned wickedly at the prospect of the odds. Though, he did try and stick to his authority, though he soon trailed off out of pure fear, "Shadow Venus, Shadow Mars, you're on the Organization's kill-on......"

"Persistent, isn't he?" Mercury quipped to the other two as he joined them. Bicap kept mumbling incoherently and made Shadow Venus laugh as he ran a gloved hand through his blonde mop.

"I'll bet he's really freaked."

"Yeah, I bet. After all, we could turn him into mutton paste with a word, eh Mars?"

Jupiter punched his palm with a grin and idly looked over at the last of the four, still standing apart from them with that same expression. With no answer, Jupiter blinked and lowered his hands down, and the rest of them looked at Mars as well. While they wondered about his silence, Bicap babbling included something that would catch all of their attentions, even the silent Mars, "Here I am, only three days away from the Perfect Order and I get trapped in by the Shadow senshi. I was even going to be there when the Omega monster was released to destroy them, but I'm going to have the same fate as my men and I'll never get promoted or at...."

At the mention of the Omega monster, the three around Bicap looked at him with a level of terror in their eyes the same as Bicap had possessed before. Not any of them could speak for a moment as they idea set in, but Venus finally did manage some frantic words, "Oh great! Now what are we going to do! We're screwed!"

"This is bad! Oh man, this is bad!" Jupiter added through clenched teeth and tightened his fists at his sides. It wasn't until Mars finally walked over to them did they regain their composure and look to him. Standing in front of Bicap, he stared at the creature with empty eyes and said nothing for a moment, then did speak in a very quiet, and strong voice.

"Calm down, nothing good will come out of panic. Let's go back to HQ and see how authentic this is."

As it always did, his words calmed the others and they nodded. Mercury glanced at Bicap for a moment and gestured to him, "What about him?"

The others looked back to Bicap and Yamito glared a bit longer, then turned and called over his shoulder as he began to walk away, "Leave him, we have more important things to attend to."

"You guys got back quick."

The little black cat possessed a crescent moon on her head and that young, feline voice that was very familiar. As the figures walked into the large, beaten house, Mars nodded to the small cat and pulled his mask down from his tired face, "Light patrols today. Nothing we couldn't handle." Mars was fairly young, maybe eighteen at the oldest but had a look to him beyond his years. Pushing back some hair from his face, he leaned against the wall and put his finger and thumb to the bridge of his nose, taking a moment to disperse a headache he had received.

Jupiter was the next to pull his mask off and seemed to be the same age as Yamito, maybe a bit older. Losing his devious smile for a moment, his face dimmed as he spoke to the small cat, "So Anul, is he getting any better?"

"I'm afraid not, without the Ginzuishou, I don't think he will either."

They all look to a darkened room that housed a bed and a figure laying in it, and Mercury sighed lightly as he peered back at Anul, "I'm afraid we have got bad news, Anul."

The small cat looked to Mercury as he pulled his mask from his face as well, "What could possibly be worse than our current situation?"

But Mercury just looked over at Venus silently as he ran a hand through his mop of blonde hair. After his fingers passed through his hair, he held two of them up and sighed loudly, "Two words, Omega monster."

Anul's head dropped and she shook it, all traced of hope seeping from her voice, "Even if Shadow Moon was at one hundred percent, we still couldn't beat another one of those things."

"What about Shadow Neptune and Shadow Uranus? What if we rescued them from the Organization's prison?"

Jupiter glanced over at Venus with a smirk and crossed his arms once more, "Come on, Venus, you know as well as we do they're both gone. The prisons aren't places you ever get out of."

"What about Shadow Pluto? Is he still trying to form a resistance in Europe?"

Anul just shook her head and looked at Mars in response to Venus's idea, "I got a message that his entire HQ was wiped out in a raid. There wasn't any reported survivors."
Mars just pulled his hand from his face and looked at the cat with a heavy look, like all of it was his fault. Venus closed his eyes and sighed but Jupiter hit his elbow into the wall behind him in anger, "Dammit!"

"None of that matters of they've created another monster. Unfortunately, Sentaku is not ready to lead us into another battle against it." Mars said quietly and looked into the darkened room with the figure lying in the bed. The deep remorse in his voice made the others follow his sight and look to the figure for some hope.

In the tower at the center of what used to be Tokyo, the Omega Organization was having a meeting shrouded in the walls of dark crystal stone. The room was filled with all sorts evil, sitting around a large table that almost seemed to grow into the floor. Queen Beryl, the Doom Phantom, a male Galaxia, members of the Dead Moon Circus, members of the Dark Moon, and a large pillar of blackish energy, Queen Metallia, all held with them a glow of victory that would come soon.

"So, our dreams of finally conquering this miserable universe are at hand. With the momentary release of the Omega monster, we will be rid of the remaining Shadow senshi and free to rule the universe."

Prince Dimando looked boredly from the Doom Phantom to Metallia and ran the liquid around in his goblet a few times, "Yes, but I'm still worried about Shadow Moon. Couldn't he still cause problems?"

"Do not worry yourself about Shadow Moon, we made sure that he will no longer pose any threat to us."

Four figures, clad in dark hoods that covered their faces, appeared at a place beside the table and held out their necklaces that each have a fourth of a Ginzuishou on it. "And after we release our Omega monster, the remaining senshi will follow the same fate."

A powerful voice came from the swirl of dark energy and almost seemed to mock the four, "Your plan is well thought out, but there is a small problem."

"And what would that be?"

More of the creatures filed in followed by Bicap, who stood at attention in front of the group. The pillar of energy glowed in anger and ordered Bicap in an annoyed tone, "Tell us."

"Yes, Majesty! My men and I confronted the Shadow senshi today. It was a terrible battle and after I lost all of my men, the Shadows found out about the Omega monster."

Saffiru was a bit intrigued by this and leaned forward in his chair, looking at Bicap intently, "How did they find out?"

"Well, I kind of told them."

"Then you are a fool." One of the hooded figured quipped and raised a gloved hand out towards Bicap. As he closed his fist, Bicap's eyes bulged and he grabbed at his stomach, then fell to his knees and erupted into bright flames. The flames soon burned away any trace of Bicap and the figure lowered his hand down, then looked to the sound of light laughing coming from Galaxia.

"How about your plan now? If they know about the Omega monster, the may attack first."

"This poses no problem, we will merely send the monster now." The four figures gathered in a circle and began to glow brightly. The energy focused into a point in between them and started to swirl and gather into something terrible. From outside the room, the guards heard a deafening roar and they trembled in fear at the approaching terror.

"So, what we need to do is attack before the four Priests of Omega can create a monster." Mercury nodded to himself and looked to Anul for agreement to his plan, "Do you think we can defeat them?"

"With Shadow Moon, maybe. Without, I'm afraid not even all four of you in your Super Shadow form could you defeat them with all of the Organization behind them."

Anul closed her eyes and sighed, aware of the fact of the matter, but Venus wasn't so eager to let it at that, "We have to try." Anul smiled lightly at him and looked over to Mars for the final word, but it was all interrupted by red lights and alarms that started to go off.

"Now what?" Mercury rushed over to a panel of monitors and started tapping into the computer. He turned them all on and images of the city came on the screens. On a certain screen, buildings were toppling over and crumbling into clouds of dust, "We may already be too late, you guys."

Everyone turned their attentions to the monitors and saw the destruction, which they all knew what from. Jupiter winced a bit and uncrossed his arms, "Now we're in for it. I've been looking forward to a fight, but this wasn't what I had in mind."

Suddenly the ground started to shake and Mars quickly ran out onto a balcony, staring coldly into the destruction in the distance. As the clouds were nearing, a breeze blew the hair from his face and he looked back into the house with a fierce look in his eyes, "Let's go. It can't get to Shadow Moon." With that, he turned and jumped from the balcony, flying through the air towards the destruction. Venus and Mercury quickly ran out and followed but Jupiter was caught by a faint voice coming from the darkened room.

"Kage."

Stopping in his tracks, he blinked slowly and looked towards the darkened room, wondering if he was hearing things. He went to the bed and found the figure halfway awake, looking up at him with tired, but still powerful blue eyes. Jupiter smiled lightly at the sight and kneeled next to the bed, almost as if he were kneeling to his prince, "Hey Sentaku, you had us worried."

The figure smiled a bit and nodded once, then felt all the shaking going on, "What's happening?"

"They've created another Omega monster. Don't worry, we'll take care of it. You rest up. When you get better, we'll wipe the floor with those Priests and the Organization."

Several large explosions rocked the house and Jupiter closed his eyes for a moment, but then smiled once more at the figure. He smiled right back, but then closed his eyes and let out a slow breath, "I'm glad you trust me that much, but I'm don't think I'll be getting better. Not without the Ginzuishou. Where is Yamito?"

"He went with Suteki and Kurai to face the Omega monster, but don't you change the subject! You will get better! You'll be kicking butt with us in no time!"

Jupiter's face became loose and he fought back the urge to let a weakness show through. The figure smiled lightly and opened his eyes once more, "Kage, you guys have been the best friends to me, but now I'm going to have to leave you now. I want you to do something."

"Anything."

"I want you to get out of here, use the Shadow Shift and leave. Tell Yamito it's what he needs to do."

"But, we can't leave, people need us here. We can beat the Organization!"

"No, you can't. You'll only get killed if you stay, Kage. There's nothing for you here. Our universe has been destroyed, the Shadow senshi are near extinct and now the Omega monster will finish the rest of our beautiful planet off. Please, just leave. You could help more people in another plane."

"But..."

"Promise me." He cut Jupiter short and reached out, taking his wrist a bit forcefully. Jupiter looked at his hand around his wrist and sighed, then looked back to him and nodded.

"I promise. I'll tell Yamito."

The figure just let him go and laid back once more, closing his eyes slowly, "Thank you, my friend. Now, it looks like I'm going to leave you now. Tell the others good-bye. Kage, keep the darkness in hand, my friend. Tell the others, it doesn't control them." After a moment, his labored breathing slowed and stopped, and Jupiter pressed his eyes closed. He fought back the urge to hit something, and just let a breath out through his clenched teeth. Anul just stared at the figure blankly and the others returned in a hurry, and a bit beaten.

"We couldn't stop it. This one is stronger than the last."

Mars ran his fingers across a bruise on his face and Mercury was tending to a large gash on Venus's arm. Anul didn't say anything but Jupiter looked to Mars with a sullen look in his peat green eyes, "Didn't you guys illuminate?"

"We didn't have time." Mercury quipped and used a white rag to press on Venus's wound.

"How is he?"

Jupiter looked to Mars and he blinked, confused at the fact that he already seemed to know the answer, but still asked the question. Staring into the darkened room, Mars leaned against the jam and became even more quiet, staring at the figure on the bed.

"He's gone. He told me that we are supposed to use the Shadow Shift and leave."

"Leave? We can't leave, we still nee...." Mercury started but a huge explosion rocked the house and sent part of the ceiling down on them. After all the dust settled, some of the fallen building started to shift and Mars's figure slowly rose out of the rubble.

"Everyone all right?"

"I'm still here, just far more unsanitary now." Mercury said with a flat tone and pushed some debris off him, his blue hair now cakes white with plaster.

"Jupiter?"

"Yep." A huge support beam shifted and was tossed to the side as he stood and rubbed his head a bit.

"Venus?"

"I'm all right, but Anul didn't make it." Venus said and looked down at the small cat in his arms.

After a moment of looking around and thinking, Mars stepped out from among the rubble and into a small clearing in the middle of what was left of the room, "We are leaving. Sentaku told us to go, so let's go."

All of them looked at him for a moment, but knew it was the right thing to do. Venus slowly set the small cat on a flat board and joined Mars in the clearing, "I wish we could bury her."

"I wish we could stay here so I could kick the entire Organization's collective butt." Jupiter added and also joined them, not looking happy that they were leaving.

"Look at it this way, whenever a Shadow Shift is used, the force generated destroys the planet. At least we'll be finishing off the whole Perfect Order." Mercury said as he completed the circle.

The four put their hands in the middle if the circle and they started to glow, gathering a huge amount of energy. Soon, their whole bodies were glowing and focusing the energy to single point in the middle of them. The roof of the house came tearing off as the silhouette of a huge creature was cast over the four. Suddenly, a blinding light was emitted from the house followed by an enormous explosion that consumed everything on the small planet, including the very planet itself.

In a small corner of a universe, in a solar system among thousands in the Milky Way, on a little blue planet with one small moon, a war was fought. Good and evil, a classic struggle set in the extreme with the end result being the Omega Organization destroying most of the universe, only to be obliterated by the last four Shadow senshi as they performed a dimensional shift. This universe was dead, merely a handful of creatures in it survived the Organization's onslaught and were doomed to slowly fade out of existence. However, in another universe....
