# 1: The Problem With Brock
From Ash and Misty’s Point of view!
*Note to reader(s): In this story the “points of view”
jump from 1 character to another. One might be Misty and Ash or
Brock or the Narrator or something. Now....on with this fic!!!!*
Ash, Misty, Pikachu and Brock are on a new journey for a new
purpose. To find, study and maybe even capture a legendary
Pokémon Prof. Oak was so enthusiastic about.
Misty::sighs exhausted and falls to knees:: Now where do
we go, Brock?
Brock::looking at map:: Well remember. Prof. Oak said that
it’s in Johto, so we have to go...farther
into....Johto...::points::
Misty: Ooh...creepy! ::hugs Togepi::
Togepi: Tooki!
Ash::putting arm around Misty:: C’mon Brocko! Ease up a bit.
We all know Prof. Oak wanted us to find Houndour and Houndoom,
and it’s a long and tiring journey. We’ve been walking
around for hours, can’t we rest for a bit?
Pikachu: Pika! (Yeah!)
Brock::sighs:: Sure I can cook my special Fire Blast Chili!
Ash and Misty stare at Brock as a fire background pops up.
Ash/Misty::coming up big:: NO! IT’S TOO HOT AND SPICY!!!
Brock::blue and feeling small:: Okay.... I guess I can try to add
a little less spice....
Ash:....and tomatoes and peppers-
Misty: and onions and mushrooms and-
Brock::coming up big w/ cooking pot in hands:: OKAY! I get your
point!! ::gets small hugging pot:: .......I love my chili.......
Ash and Misty look at each other as Brock walks to the fire to
make his chili.
Misty::whispers to Ash:: Hey, Ash. Brock’s been acting weird
ever since we’ve been going out.
Ash::whispers back:: I know. You’ve noticed it,too? What can
we do?
Pikachu jumps on Ash’s head.
Misty::dull:: What do you think? He likes EVERY pretty girl
he sees.
Ash: So I guess it excludes you?
Misty looks at him and whacks him on his head playfully.
Ash laughs and rubs head.
Pikachu::grabbing on to Ash’s hat for dear life:: Pika-pi!
(Ash!)
Ash: Oops, sorry Pikachu. ::puts him on his left shoulder::
Pikachu::smiles:: Cha!
Misty pets Pikachu on his head.
Pikachu giggles.
Ash picks up Togepi from Misty’s arms.
Ash: Come here little Togepi!
Togepi: Togeprrii! (Daddy!)
Misty: Wow, Ash! You’ve really grown up!
Ash: We all have! Didn’t we Togepi? Didn’t we
huh?! Huh?! ::continues baby talk::
Misty::thinks w/ a smirk:: I take that back.
Ash and Misty walk over to where Brock was making his chili.
Ash: Hey, Brocko! How’s it comin’ ?
Brock::stirs the sauce:: Fine...
Ash and Misty look at each other, then back to Brock.
Misty: Brock, are you okay?
Brock::turning to them, smiling:: I’m okay.... ::thinking::
Just peachy!
Ash::trying to cheer him up:: Okay. Is it done?
Misty::sniffing:: Yeah, it smells great!
Brock::looks at pot:: It’s finished. ::picks up ladle, puts
chili in bowls and gives it to them::
Ash/Misty:: Thanks Brock!
Brock: Uh-huh. ::gets some for self::
They all head over to the blanket that was already set up on the
grass.
As they ate, Pikachu and Togepi chased each other in a game of
tag.
Misty: Hey! This is great, Brock!
Ash: Yeah! Not as bad, like the last times!
Misty::hits him and whispers:: Nice going, Ash! Make him more
upset why don’t ya?!
Brock: Yeah, I guess it is.
Ash and Misty were stunned by their friends remark.
They all finish their dinner in silence.
That night, they laid out their sleeping bags. Misty and
Ash’s facing head first together and Brock’s horizontal
from them and the fire in the middle. Misty settled Togepi down
next to her sleeping bag in it’s own sleeping bag and sings
him a lullaby.
Misty: Lullaby Togepi. Go to sleep....
Ash, Pikachu and Brock were sitting at the fire and making
s’mores. Ash and Pikachu were roasting the marshmallows
while Brock was squishing them into the sandwiches with milk
chocolate and gram crackers. He set them on a plate. After they
were done, Brock put the plate down with the s’mores on it.
Brock: It’ll just be a while till they cooled so we can eat
them.
Ash: Yeah! I can’t wait! I haven’t had s’mores in
a long time!
Pikachu: Pika!
Misty: Shhh! You guys! You’ll wake up Togepi!
Pikachu and Ash covered their mouths and snickered a bit. Ash
looked at Brock who was playing with a stick in the fire. He
looked deep in thought.
Ash::thinking:: Well I thought it was funny!
A few minutes later, Brock checked the s’mores.
Brock: Come and get it guys! They’re ready so let’s
chow down!
Ash: Yeah!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Brock: C’mon Misty! Hurry before Ash eats them all!
Ash::stuffing his mouth:: And Pikachu.....
Pikachu::with mouthful::....ka...
Brock chuckles and takes a s’more. Misty sits down on the
log next to Ash and eats one also. After finishing the
s’mores, they put the fire out,got into their sleeping bags
and went to sleep, except Brock. He was pretending to sleep until
he heard Ash snore, he opened his eyes. He sits up and looks over
at Ash Misty sleeping hand in hand laced. He tries to smile, but
doesn’t. He lays back down on his back and looks up at the
starry night.
*YES I KNOW IT WAS STUPID AND KORNY!!!!!!!!!!!!! But please
don’t yell at me..... I guess I’m just getting to the
good parts! And the question “Problem w/ Brock?” was
not answered but I needed a tital people!!!! I guess you can find
out in Chptr 2....?*
