| Coco Rocks!! ^0^ Among other manga about pirates that I have read, this one is my favorite! Despite the story itself I also like Yonehara Hideyuki sensei’s style. He is hilarious and always shows his sense of humor in the manga, but not so dorkish that doesn’t make any sense. Coco Full Ahead is his 3rd long series after the first one which is Legend of Dou and then Uda Uda Yatteru Hima Wa Ne! which is the first work of him that I’ve read. Yonehara-sensei has a beautiful and realistic drawing style and also the nice theme that he applies to his every manga : fighting, friendship, self-realization and a little bit of romance, or something indicates to that, to say for the least. I like it a lot better this way because it doesn’t distract readers from what the story is really about.^_^ Coco Full Ahead is rather different from many other shonen manga that either have a huge load of blood effusion battles or majority of bishonen/biseinen dote on the bishojo. More plot and sense, that is it. Yonehara-sensei is also very high respected among other shonen mangaka in Japan. Coco Full Ahead is currently serialized in Weekly Chaimpion magazine of Akitashoten and there are 19 volumes out at the time being for the Japanese version. The Thai version has 15 volumes out to date and that’s what I have at the time being. For further information about the manga please surf in the pages I’ve made here. Oh!
