Haruka Minato is the buxomy helmsman of the Nadesico. With her cool and calm presence, Minato seems to do her job as helmsman effortlessly and efficiently - never countermanding or questioning the Captain's judgment.

Minato left her former job as a secretary to find satisfaction in a new line of work. When not on the bridge, she is often found in her room taking her beauty rest.
